Took the back wheels off this afternoon to investigate a strange noise....... Pass side has been rubbing on the fuel filler gaurd The tyres are 265/35/18. Are these too wide? The rims are 18-9JJ, so the question is, do I get thinner tyres like 255? adjust the plastic gaurd or fit a spacer? The annoying thing is that I have 2 front tyres on order as I wanted to match the rear :headvswal At least I spotted it though as I wouldnt want that going pop along the motorway..

On Monday afternoon at around 1pm i placed an order with Z1 Motorsport (Georgia, USA) for a set of series 2 to series 1 injector adaptors, with delivery by Fedex...... Well they have just arrived at 7:56am this morning!!! :) How is it that an item from halfway round the world can get here in that time.......but post something here and it takes an age to arrive??? Well done Z1 and Fedex! :)

Today I bought the Zed home from the inlaws, on a trailor. Firstly getting it on the trailor was a nightmare, rear wheels spun up on slightest touch of throttle throwing the back end out by 2-3 feet. I ended up taking a run up, 10mph, soon as rear wheels were on the ramps there was no problems. Once I got home and offloaded it, slowly but surely. I reversed it on to the drive. Again, this time in reverse the rear wheels spun up. Guessing my tyres are shockingly bad. They look brand new and have loads of tread, probably covered no more than 200 miles. I dont know the brand of my head, but they are 225/50/16's I think I could possibly fit 235's but d…

I finally got my pearl white NA started today.... some of you may have seen the thread last week saying that I had fuel but no spark... well after plenty of trawling through search results and web pages, I set to work with the multimeter today and followed things in a logical process... when I got to the ECCS relay I removed it and got a face-full of dusty corrosion from the terminals (its been relocated to underside of its usual location)... anyway I cleaned up the connections and changed the relay... struck up literally straight away, no funny noises or anything! Well pleased, I was starting to lose the will to carry on with it! :ninja: Job for tomorrow…

I was just wondering how much boost a non-chipped standard ECU map can handle safely? Assuming you've got all the other stuff like an EBC, decats, cone filter etc. Anyone have any ideas?

I found this interesting article on the TT engine and the vast differences it has to the NA engine and thought it may be of interest- http://www.autospeed.com/A_109870/cms/article.html Before I get shouted down that it is elsewhere, if it is, heyho, but it still might be of interest to others on here. I am putting my refurbed standard wheels back on soon, which way round do they go (side)? I have tried to look for pics on the net but they seem to be half one way round and half the other. A pic to show the correct side (rotation) would be great. Thanks

I am trying fit my turbos in the 200sx conversion, I need to rotate the outlet housing to another position. I have loosened the 4 bolts that hold the 2 'C' plates on the exhaust housing but it still won't turn. I'm sure that's all that needs to be undones for it to turn? Also there is now oil in the exhaust section so the seal must have been broken? I've given it a few taps with a hammer but no joy, any ideas???

Hi all. All I seem to do is ask questions, so sorry in advance. I have had some serious setups in the past. However I dont want to go spending £3k let alone £1k on an audio system this time round. Im not up on the latest audio equipment. and would like to get it budgetted at under £400, which I appreciate is low, but I dont want subwoofers etc... Basically I would like some decent standard fitting speakers for the front and rear, run by a single 4 channel amp which will fit under either the driver or passenger seat, to keep the installation simple and discreet, but much better sounding than OEM fit. My car never had the Bose upgrade, so has standard sp…
