Just wondered if anyone had built, or knows of a kit car around a 300zx engine, running gear etc? I have a spare NA auto and rather than spend money on body work I wondered if it could be a donor for a kit as the engine and gear box are mint with only around 56000 kilometers on the clock. Pic,s or leads welcome

Does anybody fancy a double din stereo surround? Yeah? Me too lol I think you can still get em from Z32 Zone.. http://www.z32-zone.com/main.html Has anybody ordered from them before? I dont have a clue how to go about ordering something in Japan. I reckon they will work out at £200 odd. I wonder if they could do a group buy? Another option is this......... http://zthirtytwo.com/ These are LHD, other than the clock being on the left, is their any other difference? I could live with the clock on the left :) Not the greatest website in the world though

I've finally got the Z to run right with no air leaks. The oil leak is also cured but the water leak is still a pain in the backside. Its a drip coming from the centre of the back of the engine somewhere and i can't see where though are there any common places for a Z to spring a leak from? Like i said its not pouring out just dripping

My Z passed its mot today but the tester advised it may not get through next year, I already know it needs two sills on it, what else is likely to be gone underneath, I know its impossible to say but from maybe your past experiences - does a rotten 300zx underneath usually mean a £500 repair bill or is it likely to be more terminal? Only reason I am asking is I cannot get it on a set of ramps until next week and I can see some sleepless nights coming my way :( :( :(

I know they are labelled L & R. Is this to direct and aid airflow to the breaks? Or just so they look the same each side? I prefere the spoke design when they are on the wrong sides. But if it aids brake cooling ill keep my track set the way nissan intended. Cheers

My zed is a '91 J-spec tt. Just about to leave the garage having got a new mot after being largely out of use over the winter. However the electric ac fan (for the evaporator) has decided to run continuously. Its likely I'll have to get it to a specialist - but before I do it there anytihng that typically causes this? Thanks

Looking for some advice. Now, my engine knowledge is very limited so i'll do my best here..... Very basic overview is i've had a TT engine rebuilt and installed into my once NA zed. We're now ready to fire it up, got all excited but it wont fire. Seems to backfire when trying. Does anybody have any suggestions what could be wrong? I'd imagine it could be a number of things. We are going to try another CAS - it looks as if the timing is 180deg out. The CAS worked fine before hand but ive had it chromed which may have fooked it up?? The cam timing appears to be ok, we dont think there is a problem there. I am running JWT cams. Any other sug…

  23. Here are some pics of our new front fascia. We have put a lot of work and dedication to get the OEM look and fitment we always look for on our products and we have also redesigned the whole bumper to get an improved look all around. The main differences from our previous design are: - Smaller mouth to look more proportional to the car. - Longer nose for an improved look and also to fit a FMIC setup better. - Improved lower section for a more aggressive and modern look. - Stock lower body line to flow better with the rest of the body. - Improved fitment (as good as an OEM front fascia). - We are using the Honda Accord/Prelude side markers as turn signal…

May be of interest to everyone.......i had trouble locating bottom arm balljoints for a zed and was told by a number of places that I would have to buy complete bottom arm (£215 +vat each for the rear :( )......... so I got in touch with Chris at Conceptua Tuning who do skyline balljoints, and he was more was more than happy to get an initial set fabricated,as long as I was willing to be the guinea pig and try them on my zed.If they fit well and the feedback is positive they will be putting them into production.First set for me to trial should hopefully be with me tomorrow so will keep you guys posted :)
