Here are some pics of our new front fascia. We have put a lot of work and dedication to get the OEM look and fitment we always look for on our products and we have also redesigned the whole bumper to get an improved look all around. The main differences from our previous design are: - Smaller mouth to look more proportional to the car. - Longer nose for an improved look and also to fit a FMIC setup better. - Improved lower section for a more aggressive and modern look. - Stock lower body line to flow better with the rest of the body. - Improved fitment (as good as an OEM front fascia). - We are using the Honda Accord/Prelude side markers as turn signal…

Cheeky i know, but dont suppose anybody close by in the North East has a couple of hours spare to help me fit three gauges do they? Boost, temp and oil pressure.. I have all the bits...

May be of interest to everyone.......i had trouble locating bottom arm balljoints for a zed and was told by a number of places that I would have to buy complete bottom arm (£215 +vat each for the rear :( )......... so I got in touch with Chris at Conceptua Tuning who do skyline balljoints,and he was more was more than happy to get an initial set fabricated,as long as I was willing to be the guinea pig and try them on my zed.If they fit well and the feedback is positive they will be putting them into production.First set for me to trial should hopefully be with me tomorrow so will keep you guys posted :)

Im in the process of putting my Z back to standard and am wondering what peoples views are on the standard recirc dump valves? I have these hard pipes going to the throttle bodies that had injectors plumbed in. Im unsure whether aftermarket ones can be fitted to these or do they normally come with a mounting flange you tig to the pipe yourself? How does the plumbing work on recircs, all I know is there is a pipe about an inch diameter blocked off coming from my intercooler to throttle body pipe. I need an education on this please....:biggrin:

Due to personal circumstances. (Namely a change of job and having to start being paid monthly instead of weekly) I dont know if I can keep my Zed. I got it for a bargain price, and its mint. A few owners have said how good the paint is, although I want to respray it. Interior is perfect, like from the factory, nothing peeling or lifting, no fading, not a single scratch on any of the plastics even in the boot. No clips missing anywhere, inside or under the bonnet. totally complete car. I only have two problems with it, 1 the exhaust is blowing and 2 the lower PAS hose. Any ideas what would cause this?

Does anybody have any good photos to show where the intercooler pipework mounts? I know what pipe goes where etc but struggling with mounting. (geez, thats some cracking innuendo :) )

Firstly hello :) little background Bought my UK 300zx TT on ebay a little while back, with no MOT, so i figured it would need some work. I had the pan welded up, brake lights fixed new horn installed. Failed MOT on brake lines. Had new copper brake lines put in throughout, and the fuel tank and straps replaced. Got the car through its mot has a nice full 12 months HUZAHH okay so the current issue until recently its been running fine, now i know the dash board dials are not the most reliable things on the planet but the oil pressure sat steady between 45-60 ish (when warm), but just recently at idle and low speeds we are talking drops to…

Hi, i've got the boards from the 2 pod units off the dash, dis assembled, and it looks like its had the diode mod applied (i think) it has resistors added. my one question is can i add voltage to the board to "light" it up, 12v, 5v...if so where do i put it.. Just trying to check it as i go along. Is it that simple.. any help would be helpful. Rich

Ok, where do I start........... I have been having this feeling for some time now...... Should I keep the'ol girl or give her up for someone to takeover/take care off. I look at my 300 and admire her to the max!!!! But, when I get these little running issues, I think.... fook it, sell up and be done. Now these always turn out to be small niggly problems that are easily solved, but it does wear you down. My only issues are; rough idle and an intermittent vibration from the front end, and I have strived endlessly to try and solve with no resolution to an end, but there must and always is an end, isn't there............. Well after spending 2 years in the garage, my Apexi AVCR boost controller finally made it onto the Z yesterday! :laugh::huh: The install went fine and I set the controller up as per the instructions I found on a Z site, but today when testing on the road it was reaching about 0.5bar then after that it was hesitating and spluttering. Could this be down to a boost leak somewhere maybe? I didnt have an inline filter for the boost pipework but google would suggest that many people run without them. The car has no misfires or other running issues however I did notice that my Blitz engine monitor picked up a fault on the knock sensor circuit... this wouldnt affect thi…

Ok. This will probably sound like a really stupid question and might be really obvious when I come to do it but don't want to waste my time or anything so thought I might as well ask. How do you connect the am to the speakers? Do you basicallyhave the wires going From the amp to each speaker or do the wires go from the amp to the speaker connections behind the stereo or what? Pictures or diagrams etc would be mint. For info it's a carpc I'm wanting to connect up.

I am looking at buying a boost gauge, now normally i would buy something like defi, greddy etc but i was having a look on ebay and noticed these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-52mm-Car-Gauge-Boost-Turbo-Psi-/261041808017?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cc74de291 Now it seems really cheap and there from Hong Kong, Which would normally put me right off but they seem to have sold loads and have decent(ish) feedback. Has anyone used of these gauges before?? In my head im thinking they are cheap for a reason but thought id ask the question. Cheers in advance.

got another problem now fixed the water leak fixed the blown fuse, and why the stock boost gauge wasn't working now got a new problem my aftermarket gauge is only reading maybe 5psi, doesn't feel like its boosting much at all, and there is a distinctive whine i've never heard before that is in time with the boost, i have still got a few air leaks but cant pin point them, even with a tester, but the whine is concerning me, its not a whistle its a whine. any one got any thoughts?

ive recently fitted some 15mm hubcentric spacers since this when the brakes are hot they creak. i have no vibration at speed no clunking no funny behaviour and i also have no creaking whilst rolling at speed. as soon as the car drops below 10mph or so and i apply the brakes once theyre warmed up crek creak, it will even do it at a standstill. so im confused now. all i can think is that the spacers are too tight and where the disc is expenading its putting stress on the assembly. i got an assisatnt to press the brake at standstill and you can hear the creak through the centre of the wheel. this morning obviously cooled down they didnt do it anymore. :s i did the nuts …

Whats the socket size needed to take the rear hub bolt off ? Can't get the old ball joint out after attacking it with a blow torch so I'm now Just going to remove the full knuckle and get it pressed out.

Since I bought the zed last september the intermittent wiper setting has never worked and I just lived with it, but just lately its been annoying me so while I was at zedworld on friday I picked up a timer control unit (square white box in drivers footwell on a bracket next to a green relay) and once swapped over my intermittent wipers work as they should so nice result.i hate it when stuff is fitted and it doesnt work.Also sorted the beep when you leave your lights on so pleased to say everything in the car works:)

Hi Guys, just a bit of advise plz..... last week...nice evening..roof down I had a good 2 hours drive, when I was slowing down for a corner I was using my box as a brake (2nd gear) as the exhaust pops and sounds great (stupid YES) BUT the last few miles of my journey I had lost 1st gear (auto) and thought OH no here we go again (I`ve done 4 auto boxes in on my TT) until manual conversion, but I like my vert as Auto.... very next day and all day today its been fine??? Do you think it was just too hot or have i got box problems? CheerZ Daz.

Iv have a scorpion quad exit system on my zed, now only just got it on the road but this g/f really doesn't like it. Seems to think it's too noisy when cruising, tbf it aint quiet. Is there any exhaust out there that are quiet when cruising but releases the grunt when pressing the loud pedal? Strange thing is i had a scorpion system on my old golf vr6 which was perfect. im looking for new front and rear brake discs for my 89 n/a. im not sure on the size though, will 280mm x 30mm fit??
