Hi I need some advice from other people. I am renting a garage from a church oposite my garden. Thats where I keep my zed. The garage is to small to fit my stuff and my car so I am parking outside my garage, also I am not blocking anything. My garage agreement says " garage is designed for vehicle storage". Yesterday one of the church people came to my house and tolded me that my car cant be parked outside my garage and needs to be removed. The guy looked like a proper rasist bow like to complane about everything. Do I have any rights to keep my car outside my garage or not? Please help me out guys.

Asked this previously but didn't get a definitive response....now I've learned to post pics in a thread to show what I'm on about, I'll throw it out there again..... Dropped the lower dash trim under the steering wheel the other week and found 2 things dangling behind it that clearly shouldn't be dangling there! One is a black box with a number 12 on it, the other is a white springy/contact sort of connection; both shown in pics below...... Cheers for lookin Steve J

I'm on a bit of a tight timescale to get this done in time to get the car to LakeZ hence the dumb question. Ok, so I just bougt a 95 na. It's been sat for over a year, but still starts fine. I'm off with a trailer to collect her on Thursday and get her to an MOT station at home. Time wise that's gonna be about 1600 so pretty tight before closing time. The car has no cats, and an aftermarket SS exhaust. Do we reckon this will just get in under the 3.5% or am i having a laugh? I can get a set of cats for it, but time wise getting them fitted and getting the car tested is really pushing it.

I've just got my paint, a very nice pearl yellow (bumble bee) and am now thinking about how the car should be sprayed, namely the roof as some have suggested spraying the top strip black and also do you think I should strip the trims of there rubber coating and spray them gloss black. And pics of how yours are done would be most helpful

Hi guys, Im sure I asked this before but can't remember what I was told lol. I bought a new 99spec bumper from zcentre, just about to get my car resprayed by my bro in law, he paints really good but my last bumper got sort of spider web cracks in the paint and chipped off. I was told u have to use a special plastic thing in the paint, I really don't want this bumper to crack when I fit it together. I feel somtimes my painter is lazy and just painting the bumper lol. so anyone know how or what I need so I can say oi that aint right...lol... Any help appreciated,

Following on from a thread I posted a few weeks back about the wiring loom for an auto box self igniting due to it falling across the turbo the insurance company came through and the work commenced on the repair. Now as the loom is an integral wired part of the gearbox and is not available seperately it was a case of repair only, the auto box fuse had also blown and the ecu for the same was damaged. Knowing if any internal damage to the gearbox electrical parts was difficult to predict but it was worth a repair try before writing the box off. So in the pics the loom is shown unplugged from the inner wing and hanging down under the car for easier access, th…

I have a problem with my drivers door mirror. My car is a 1993 Jap LWB TT. I got hold of another mirror mechanism but it's no use as my mirror has heated glass as well as the a connector for the wires, whereas the mirror assy I got was hard wired. I have attached a photo of the mirror assy on my car. My question is, is this the correct one for a 93 Jap LWB TT, or has my car had a different mirror fitted in it's life? Just so I can make sure I get the right one next time. Thanks.

Good morning to all. I have a 91 tt auto and coming home from a fishing trip to poole yesterday the gearbox gave up the ghost. I am not sure if it is the box or the torque converter. What it is doing> When in D it has a bit of drive but making all kinds of funny sounds and at one point just before I stopped it sounded like some one had hit it with a hammer. It was at this point I pulled over. It will not engage Reverse, you can hear it trying to but no reverse. I have only had the car 6 months and have not done any kind of miles in it so have not done a lot to it and have no idea as to the service life it has had. The only thing I did whe…

Evening all, So i am playing with the zed now and after sorting out my interior gaiters and stereo situation i have a 1 piece prop to fit courtesy of the previous owner. How heavy are they as this 1 piece (i am told its a lightweight) i dont have any scales but i would imagine a good 20kgs plus at least. Also i have had a few people asking me the make and model of my wheels. i am yet to receive my hydraulic jack so cant get them off to check. Can anyone Recognize them? Going to see if i can sneak into work and swap the prop over myself. Anyone have a list of tools required? Many Thanks in Advance Steve

Hi guys, 1992 TT Auto - running ok, a little bit of a bone shaker (centre bearing prob) but if I take it easy between 40-50, 2-3K revs (highest gear?) she really struggles and shakes until I put my foot down a little more and drive through the shaking. Pulls fine and power seems normal. Any ideas? Dom

It turns out The front pipes from the turbo's to the centre section are stainless, however everything else appears not to be. and the pipes between the centre section and the back boxes are quite badly corroded. to the point of just behind the wheel little holes are forming before the back boxes. I'm unsure what to do though, I've been told there maybe a place local that does custom 2,3/4" pipe so i could possibly just get the worst bits replaced and keep the back boxes and the centre section or find a new one. I am a little concerned about buying one off the shelf because I may have some trouble lining up with my bumper. Any suggestions?
