Hello, I'm wondering if anyone in the Burnley area would be willing to come with me to look at a car...? It's a '98 zed. I have limited knowledge about looking at a mechanically sound car anyway, never mind what I should be looking for on a zed. I'd appreciate any help :-) I'll be looking to come down one Saturday (maybe Sunday) this month. Thanks :-) :thumbup1:

Just fitted my uprated Z1 side mount inter coolers and the question is this: do you guys recommend keeping the original air flow ducts attached or bin them:blink: I have a 99 spec front end so have pretty large inter cooling apertures! I have just fitted them and re-fitted these ducts but sat here thinking is hat the correct thing to have done! Must add they fit like a glove...........well impressed:biggrin:

Guys and Gals Just wanted to see what the general consensus was around brake pedal feel and progression in their zeds To start, im still running stock calipers rebuilt with new pistons, seals, sliders etc, HEL lines, DBA 4000 discs and DS2500 pads all round. Im 99.9% sure my system is air free and im running DOT 5.1 fluid thats less than 12 months old. I do have big brake kit almost ready to go, but im sure this "issue" isnt caliper related. Ok, so as much as im happy with the performance of the stock brakes (although ill freely admit they dont have the out right power that i now feel i need due to my substantial increase in power) in that they VERY rarely …

Work on my long tern restoration has stepped up a gear with all rust removed from the floor/sills/arches and a fresh coat of paint on the underside. this is with one exception the rear panel behind the pasanger rear wheel. this has has a bump at some point and has rusted badly. Rather than repair (which i could do) i am hoping to cut out these out of a breaker and make the repair as good as new. so does anyone have a swb shell kicking around, i found a breaker on ebay but it would seem that the one bit i want is the reason the car has been written off, which to say the least is anoying. Im willing to travel, all i will need is a plug socket near by. Ob…

1992 Nissan 300zx LWB 2+2 na auto JAP, In black. She has done 2553 miles in the last four years. can vrifie that with all mots.she has 75,358 miles on her. Is machanicaly sound everything works as it should. brand new brake pads fitted and two brand new tyres fitted when i mot her on my last trip home end of may.( i work offshore) hense mot to june 2014. drives as it should no probs. it has straght threw large and loud exhaust. clifford alarm and imolbilser and will be priced to sell. Hi Just wondered if anyone has used these guy's as they are offering some parts at cheap prices for OEM parts.... Just got a quote for £30.44 +P&P for front n/s scuttle panel NEW.....Might try entire panel at that price..... Been after floor pan plugs and they have quoted £12.84 for all of them delivered..... Just waiting to find out delivery price on scuttle panel before ordering and they take paypal....... Might order floor plugs first to test how quick they send items and if they are legitimate... Russ

Tonight 02/07/13, about 20:50. It was coming across the Findus roundabout. Only caught a glimpse, haven't seen one in a while. I think they were late spec rear clusters. J spec. I was in my Galant, heading towards Four Lane Ends.

Today i went and had my zed four wheel alignment checked because im suffering from positive camber on my rear left feel. The inner tread is wearing while the rest of the tyre is ok. This is a problem because they are 19 inch and ain't cheap. The result was that all wheel's are slightly out except the one that has the wear. What else could cause this. I have not lowered ar put any HICAS bar on etc its basic with 19's on. Any ideas?? Cheers

Hi guys, I recently aquired the afore mentioned blitz gooddies. Im wondering if anybody would be able fit it for me, i live near manchester so dont want to travel too far. However i am wondering if i should bother at all and maybe sell them on, i quite like having turbos at full power anyway, i always let the engine idle for a few mins before switching off anyhow. Any Advice, pro's and cons please would be much appreciated. All the plug and play wiring is there but i would need to get the hoses to run too and from the solonoid.

I'm trying to find some background on my motor, but don't have a lot of (any) paperwork for her. :( The previous owner said that Zedworld had serviced and "tuned" the car back in 2006 (before he bought the car) but I've spoken to them this afternoon and they're drawing a blank on the number plate. The car was imported in 1999. I've no idea if it's a former club car or not, so this is just a bit of a longshot really. Registration is FAZ 323 - don't know if that's the reg it got when it came to the UK or not. She's a black LWB auto TT, but she looks like she's been silver in a previous incarnation... Anyone know anything.....??

Hi all, I need some advice on fitting the TT hard pipes that go out under inner wing to intercoolers... I am doing N/A to TT conversion and can't get them through the gap, it seems too small to fit them through??? I also can't see any mounting holes or brackets that the pipes mounting points line up with?? Anyone got some pics of these pipes fitted please??? Cheers.... Russ

Hi I'm new too the site and was recommended to these forums to ask you guys for tips and advice on things to check on imports. The car is new to the UK and I have been warned of rust. More help would be greatly appreciated. I currently drive a Focus ST2 and I'm part of the Focus ST OC. Hopefully be owner of 300zx soon unless I'm scared away. Any idea how I check the horn relay? The fuse was blown so I've changed that, now when I press the horn, I hear the relay click but no horn sound. I'm just wondering how I can check if its working right or not. For info, when I changed the fuse, it worked for a quick second, now just click click from the relay so I'm wondering if its broken down

Jeff TT signing off (Zedworld) Well it is with a heavy heart that I announce from today my 14+ year association with the 300zx and the owners both on and not on this forum will come to an end. It has been a long educational business trip that has supplied a huge amount of highs and a few odd blips but as a whole its been a buzz, and to say it has been a big part of my life is a major understatement.
