Hi everyone I'm LED converting the zed dash including all of the warning lights, and was wondering if anyone knew the fitment for the 'battery warning light' bulb? All the rest are T5 (and I got hold of some T5 fitment LEDs) but this is a bigger fitment. I've read all the stickies but can't find reference to this bulb (or were to get it in LED form). Also I have the additional illumination lights along the bottom of the plastic surround. these have a row of flat T5 bulbs where the plastic holder doesn't protrude much. i have been reading fitting after market dump valves will mess the fueling up what about hybrid dump valves ? is there any way of having them with out messing up the fueling ? i know you dont need them for a 400bhp car but have to admiit i love the sound plus the car isnt a daily driver so willl only be used weeks ends if that

Hi, been having this fuel smell for a while but it seems to be getting stronger. Don't know if it's this hot weather or not. My Z is running fine at idle and full load but noticed even after it's been stationary for a while hot or cold engine there is a strong fuel smell coming from what seems like the passenger side rear wheel. Can't see anything dripping down after driving, or leaving it at idle but just a very strong smell. No wet on my garage floor in the morning it's all just very weird! If anyone has an idea what it could be please let me know as the smell is only coming from this area. The only other thing is when going to fill up with fuel and undoing …

just having at good look round my engine bay as only had the car a few days there seems to be no header tank am i missing somthing here?. never seen a car with out one before

My car currently has the 60k service interval Iridium plugs, been told to change these for colder plugs. I am no expert so looking for advice from you guys. Car is a 93 Jap TT. Converted manual from auto so has standard auto turbos, Zedworld chip, Apexi single filter, ARC intercoolers, boost jets set at 1 bar, Japspeed decats turbo back exhaust. I'm planning in the future to get a nistune board and get it set up correctly as I'm sure it is over fuelling slightly. So what plugs should I run?

Is there any point of 550 injectors with stock turbos ? Thanks

Hi guys, I want to purchase a wide band to monitor my afr but not sure about a few things. a) What brand or type to get...was looking at AEM, Innovate. any others? b) Can I monitor one bank only or should I get 2 O2 sensors (one for each bank) and switch over manually. c) or get 2 guages/sensor kits, one for eack bank (eek quite costly...for me) Thanks for any info.

Yesterday after all that polishing as a thankyou I let my cousin drive my car and twice I thought he stalled it. Today I was driving through the middle of Newcastle and I stalled at some lights, but I hadn't stalled at all and it would not start. It turned fine and occasionally sounded like it was trying to start but just wouldn't. I thought it was fuel related perhaps blocked filter or something having had the car stand and the way I always run it low and had just filled it higher than normal. ok car has been good s far just to nite went for a blast going pretty fast when i came back home the car was ticking over a 1000rpm its been a thats the first time it done that it was ticking over well below that is any idea were to look is there a idle control valve ? or anyother ideas were to look thnak for any help

figured ill ask my questions in one post instead of 3 separate posts after swapping the clocks i fired her up to see if everything is working which they are and noticed a ticking sound from the engine, is it because of low engine oil? or something else? i know it cant be anything to do with the clock. i did check the dip stick and its on the low side but not dry. i though since its been parked up for a while it may go away with being driven but i only took it down the road and back and after getting paranoid its something worse. and recently ive noticed only because ive been told, smoke coming out the back end when she first starts up but then goes away when d…

Hi Could Noz help me in getting a running in chip the has no boost so I can drive the car up to his to get it mapped please. I have a standard ECU. It will need a socket too. I'm really good at soldering and when Terry finishes my Z Monday or Tuesday this week. Probably going to start it and make sure all is ok but won't move until this chip is in. I've got uprated gt525's on there and don't trust the boost in run in. Millers running in oil is in it also They're Wiseco pistons bored, honed, acl big and main bearings. Everything is new and rebuilt now. Cheers ANT

Hi all, For the benefit of people I've bored at the Chester meet's recently (Mandy, Ian and Keith etc!), I thought I'd share a couple of pics of attempt number one of vehicle wrapping :) I'd say that the ZX is, in theory, a very easy car to wrap as the panes are pretty flat as it's corners and curves which are a b**ch to wrap round. The front bumper and the back were hardest...the rear quarter panels and lower boot area are all one massive panel which really should be done as one piece of wrap but I cheated and did it in smaller sections. Anyhoo, hope you like! It's still work in progress, there's a few scruffy panels I want to re-do and I also want to tint…

Hi I'm looking for a breaker or someone who is breaking a twin turbo close to keighley as I have a 1992 that i could do with some parts for engine and body and it would cost me a loads on postage with the bits I need so looking at geting it all at once and collecting it all my self thanks

as title, ive decided to swap the clocks out and after finding to my surprise found cracked and broken pod bits, a cut wire that leads into the dash :l ive managed to strip it out with no problems and found this little black box attached to the back of the speedo im guessing its got something to do with the speedo being calibrated to mph? the speedo has black tape over the k on the km/h. my questions are; is that correct? shall i cut it off and install the uk speedo? do i connect it back up with the uk clock and finally leave it as is and reconnect the speedo without connecting the little black box? also is there anything else i should know while …

Hi all, My car is normaly sold and i look for a new build in 1996 so with ODB2 and 16bits ecu. have information about ecu 16bit and upgrade ? It's possible to swap 16bits ecu with a 8bits ? thanks JC

Me and my mate are away in Hereford on a golfing weekend, drove up in the zed with the roof off...... Got here and wanted to drive further !!! Loving it :)

I was going to work last week it was hot and sunny so was in the zed with the roof of. Coming up to a junction I saw a red Ferrari going left I was going right. So when I was along side the Ferrari I look over and the driver looked at my zed and nodded over to me so I nodded back and we both pulled away. Then I realised who it was Irish golfing legend Darren Clarke. Respect:thumbup:
