Hey guys so I brought ades z. Im picking her up at the end of this month but the only problem with the car is its running on 5 cylinders atm and he has no idea as to why. Is zed word going to be my best bet to have her checked out or is there anyone here that can help me diagnose the problem

Hi Could Noz help me in getting a running in chip the has no boost so I can drive the car up to his to get it mapped please. I have a standard ECU. It will need a socket too. I'm really good at soldering and when Terry finishes my Z Monday or Tuesday this week. Probably going to start it and make sure all is ok but won't move until this chip is in. I've got uprated gt525's on there and don't trust the boost in run in. Millers running in oil is in it also They're Wiseco pistons bored, honed, acl big and main bearings. Everything is new and rebuilt now. Cheers ANT

Hi all, For the benefit of people I've bored at the Chester meet's recently (Mandy, Ian and Keith etc!), I thought I'd share a couple of pics of attempt number one of vehicle wrapping :) I'd say that the ZX is, in theory, a very easy car to wrap as the panes are pretty flat as it's corners and curves which are a b**ch to wrap round. The front bumper and the back were hardest...the rear quarter panels and lower boot area are all one massive panel which really should be done as one piece of wrap but I cheated and did it in smaller sections. Anyhoo, hope you like! It's still work in progress, there's a few scruffy panels I want to re-do and I also want to tint…

Hi I'm looking for a breaker or someone who is breaking a twin turbo close to keighley as I have a 1992 that i could do with some parts for engine and body and it would cost me a loads on postage with the bits I need so looking at geting it all at once and collecting it all my self thanks

as title, ive decided to swap the clocks out and after finding to my surprise found cracked and broken pod bits, a cut wire that leads into the dash :l ive managed to strip it out with no problems and found this little black box attached to the back of the speedo im guessing its got something to do with the speedo being calibrated to mph? the speedo has black tape over the k on the km/h. my questions are; is that correct? shall i cut it off and install the uk speedo? do i connect it back up with the uk clock and finally leave it as is and reconnect the speedo without connecting the little black box? also is there anything else i should know while …

Hi all, My car is normaly sold and i look for a new build in 1996 so with ODB2 and 16bits ecu. have information about ecu 16bit and upgrade ? It's possible to swap 16bits ecu with a 8bits ? thanks JC

Me and my mate are away in Hereford on a golfing weekend, drove up in the zed with the roof off...... Got here and wanted to drive further !!! Loving it :)

I was going to work last week it was hot and sunny so was in the zed with the roof of. Coming up to a junction I saw a red Ferrari going left I was going right. So when I was along side the Ferrari I look over and the driver looked at my zed and nodded over to me so I nodded back and we both pulled away. Then I realised who it was Irish golfing legend Darren Clarke. Respect:thumbup:

After stripping more out of the zed today I noticed that the power steering pipe work that goes from the pas pot down and round was in fairly bad shape so I've removed it all. Question is can this pipe work be ordered new or can I simply replace it with rubber hose. Hi guys While washing the car this morning I noticed rust breaking through on the rear sill on the drivers side. As annoyed as I am about this I recognise it as an inevitability on a near 20 year old car. I know the parts are relatively available but my question is can anyone recommend a body shop that has done this work on a Z32 in the Surrey area or within a reasonable distance from Surrey. Any experience of what I can expect to pay for the work would be very welcome....I'm thinking that it would make sense to do both sides guard less of need on the near side to include inner and outer sills and arches. What would be the best way to wire in a inverter to come on when the ignition is turned on, rather than running to the back of the car and hitting the power switch, or in my case as ive extended the wire, hitting the switch in the cabin. Id like it on the ignition so i dont forgot to switch it off when exiting the car and running the battery dead.

ok i have standerd 300zx tt i have modded and tuned many cars over the years but never a turbo whats the best steps to take on tunning the 300zx tt i would like to get around 370 to 400 bhp so am sure many on here have done this so would like to here best way to go about this any info on tuning the 300zx tt would be great

As title with high rear spoiler last night Friday around 7:00 ish between Bognor and Chichester I was in the green z going the other way!

well after about 15 month im finnaly making steps to get my car back this is how it was last seen and with thanks to the guys on here who gave me parts for free to rebuild it looks like it will be back in a few weeks really cant wait to get it back

Hello, I need a replacement diff as mine has a lot of "slop" I am looking for an r200 short nose vlsd, I have found a couple, but I now need to make sure I am getting the right ratio. What is the standard axle / diff ratio , I read in some places it is 3.7:1 but in others that it is 4.08:1 I guess they are different based on country of origin and wether it is a NA or TT ? I am looking for 3.7:1 as I read that is the standard uk ratio...... How can I tell, is there a casting stamp or is it down to a manual turn of the input shaft and count wheel rotation ? Hi all, my TT was converted to a NA rear diff, therefore the Hicas was removed, To stop the Hicas warning light being on constantly i unplugged the small connector block onto the power steering ECU( next to the main ECU). Now my cruise control wont work, im told that i only really need to snip one of the two wires on the connector block and then plug it back in, anybody know which one i need to cut ??

Can someone help? How do you remove the rear windows. Do they have to be cut out or will a heat gun and patience help to remove? Also, has anyone ever removed the rear wing/ quater panels and seals from a shell if so, where did you cut from-to and are there any formers/stringers to be aware of? I want to save these parts for a future project/spares? Cheers.

Thinking about importing a 300 from japan - 2000 model maybe - at least as new as possible. How much work is it to make a RHD drive into a LHD?

hello from Spain! I have a 300tt LHD, My engine died a month ago and I received from UK an engine from zedworld, it was a RHD and it came with no oil dipstick, when I tried to put my old one I got dissapointed as is larger!! uk models use shorter one?? may anyone tell me lenth of a UK oil dipstick?? please send me only the distance from the end to the begining of the black plastic piece, i mean all metal stuff.. thnaks in advance for your help. What is the maximum brake size that will fit under a 17" wheel? I know offset is also important but as a general rule, for example would a 345mm brembo conversion fit under a 17". The reason I ask this is im seriously considering chopping the 18's in for 17's function over form reasons.

Hi all, It looks like I'm going to need a set of rear arches before one of my zeds is re-sprayed. My question is this does anyone know if its possible to get rear arches off the shelf anywhere? Or the body shop I went to suggested it maybe possible to use arches off another vehicle/ Nissan to suit the zed. His example was that Toyota corolla arches used to fit the same radius / profile as the mr2 Rich
