Hi. Since one of the bolt where rusted and the other broke I ordered new ones from czp. There is two sizes to the bolt. The end into the rear of the diff is ok, but I have problems getting a hold of a nut that fits the bolt on the subframe side on the bolt. Anyone know what size it is? I know it's M14 but that is about it...

Im getting the same noise that seems to get better once the engine has warmed up. I was told that the Greddy cam belt ive got is known to be noisy as its made of carbon and doesn't stretch. Others have said the belt is to tight. Has anyone else got a Greddy belt installed. Thanks Dan

I decided to spray my spare set of coil packs white, which worked a treat I think (see pics) I also sprayed the little bolts that hold the brackes onto the coil packs in red - which matches the colour scheme of my engine bay nice In the meantime I got the brackets off the coil packs powder coated - which also look great but the stupid thind is some monkey at the powder coaters got coating into the threads! So I managed to get one put back together by scraping around in the thread with my screwdriver and driving the bolt in and out until with some force I got them far enough in to hold the bracket tight The pics look cool (I think anyway) but how best to ge…

Bought my last one from Halfords - the one their book suggested had the terminals the wrong way round, so I ended up buying one that was slightly too small instead (but with the terminals the correct way round). But that one appears to have died now so I need another and it would be nice to get the correct one this time - where do people get them for their Zeds?

Hi all, Ive been driving the car around the yard on a fresh rebuild and ive noticed that there is alot of pressure built up in the fuel tank. I dont remember this to be a problem 6 years ago when I was driving it last lol. Im wondering if its anything to do with the uprated fuel pump or if this is a result of the carbon canister removal all done after I took the car off the road. Any ideas? Cheers Dan

I've seen a zed on auto trader and I just need some advice as I think it's too cheap? The only faults I can see is a flat looking rear tyre and the rear light cluster doesn't look in great shape, also it doesn't say how much tax. Nut other than that it seems ok. I'm due to call the bloke back soon so any quick advice would be great thanks http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201307278026690/sort/default/usedcars/model/300_zx/make/nissan/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/new/postcode/sy13xd/quicksearch/true/radius/1500/page/1?logcode=p

I thought I'd ask if any one here used to own my TT . I only really want to know a little bit more about its history, for example what the paint code is as its not what its supposed to be. I remember baz saying it used to belong to someone near him but the only history I have is from the bloke I got it off in Grimsby and a previous owner from way down south. Any help or info would be gratefully received.

Hi all, I have a Manual 1991 Twin Turbo that has had a staarting issue for some time... Tha car was hard to start from cold and would just catch after 20-30 turns and drove fine but after stopping for 30-40 mins would again be hard to start. So I changed the air regulator and the car started first turn from cold, however after a few days the car would begin to have the same problem. I changed the air regulator a further 3 times and the IAA valve once with the same result, would work fine the first few days then back to sq 1. Last week I fitted a new timing belt, tensioner and idlers and removed the plenum, deleted the EGR valve and deleted the coolant pipes …

ever since i got my zed its had a idle fault, i believe it is down to the idle control valve plug as it's full of corrosion, but no amount of cleaning seems to make it go away. It will sometimes idle like a dream but when any electrical load is added e.g. lights, fogs or even putting my foot on the brake the revs drop like a stone and it will almost stall just before the revs pick back up and it idles at around 1500rpm. there are other times where it is 100% perfect and there are also sometimes it likes to idle at 2000rpm. im going to change the plug anyway but want to know if it could be anything else. thanks guys jay :)

These are rare as rocking horse shit. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Breaking-Nissan-300ZX-Z32-Fairlady-Twin-Turbo-/200888305368?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2ec5e046d8 Reckon the guy might not know quite what it is. I'd have snapped up that kit had I not have just had mine painted.

Is the front wiring loom functionality differ between an NA and TT ? The loom in question is the main loom with the fuse boxes and relays that is hooked up all round the front end of all zeds. I've just ripped mine out (carefully) but its not in great condition so was thinking of stripping it back and relooming it as new or transplanting another.

Not exactly exciting but a sparkly new windscreen just looks so good..... The windscreen top strip is expensive and as an alternative we use a 5 series BMW one which fits perfectly and also looks better than the original one I think and less costly. Jeff TT

Just a tip for those who have cracked coilpack plugs as I have been needing to get some new ones myself but yesterday I made a discovery. (assuming know one else noticed) I was working on my neighbours Nissan micra when I noticed the plug on the loom for the O2 sensor looked familiar. So off to the the local breakers I went and raided every micra they had and low and behold they fit perfect, only managed to get 5 but I'm not complaining for a tenner! :D thought someone might find this useful :)
