http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BREMBO-BRAKES-CALIPERS-DISCS-PADS-MITSUBISHI-EVO-9-FQ-360-/261259304516?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cd4449e44 Having just bought some JDM calipers to refurbish I came across these on eBay. Is there much involved in adopting them for a Z32 ? Is there perhaps an adaptor kit that would take any grief out of the situation ? Any thoughts/advice gratefully received. Mark

After messing about with one of my hid's for about four days to try and get it to stop flickering, still don't quite know how I did it, the car finally passed its mot! Well chuffed and I can now start enjoying it again, shame I've missed all the good weather though!

As part of my ongoing knowledge learning and general tidy-up/inspection of my car, I'll be removing the door cards shortly. From what I understand and have read, cars built post 1994 came with remote central locking as standard. I didn't get any remotes with my car, so I am wondering what I should be looking for when I remove the door card to indicate if it's fitted or not.

My cars going for paint this trip home. but just before it goes to keep cost down i said ill strip her ready. this also saves someone damaging mouldings ect. my question is how easy is it to get of the rear quater window trim off and the door trim at the top near the glass. do you pop it off or does it slid . or is it a slim scrapper job underneath taped upwards.

I've recently bought my first zed and its in pearl white. It needs the front bumper respraying at some point. It's got one of those foamy spoilers that always seem to go so that needs replacing, and the rear quarters have just started to rust. I've been told that white, especially pearl, is a bit of a fu#%er to match and have all the panels the same colour, so I'm thinking cd my funds are all in order. Get a new rear spoiler, get the arches cut out and new ones in. And maybe have 2 colours in the car, black possibly? With white pin striping. Black spoiler with the white pin, and black on the lower quarters all the way from front to back with some white pinstriping of sme …

My remote central locking has stopped working. The lights still flash but neither door opens. I can hear a very faint noise as if the drivers door solenoid is trying to work. If I open the drivers door with the key, the passenger door opens as it should. Am I right in thinking that it's probably the drivers door solenoid that's knackered?

After some determination I've managed to find this gem. Baring in mind mine would be a 2.5" instead of a 3" so would be a bit quieter with the valve open, but i'm been swayed more into a xpipe center section if I can find one separate with resonators. What do you guys think? - - - Updated - - - There is another video but it won't let me embed it for some reason...

Another job this winter will be to overhaul all four calipers. These have been painted in the past with hammerite, what is the best way to remove all this paint? Should they be soaked in something? Or is this a waste of time and just go about removing the paint with some sort of orbital sanding tool?? Secondly, where is the best place to get my new seals from in terms of quality and cost? Thanks, Dan

Dave a little advice if you can, my one piece rear light panel which is blended in, after a while with the body movement ends up with little cracks where the fibreglass panel meets the metal. I tried P40 fibre glass filler, plastic bumper filler, which is supposed to be flexible, looks great for a few weeks then little cracks appear again. Before i waste time in painting it, what would you suggest to be the best way to stop this from happening. Cheers

This advert is complete car porn. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0gvqLZIQss&feature=youtube_gdata_player I suggest that someone on here that is handy with a camera teams up with perhaps Noz with his rolling road. One of us supplies a lairy fire spitting zed and we make our own. I really want to see that, with red hot bits.

Looking at updating my dash illumination a little bit. Firstly, I swapped my main 4 T5s (or may have been T10) for white LED replacements about 6 years ago when I fitted my first set of UK dash clocks. I got the 'super bright white' ones which are about as bright as a lunar eclipse. I got use to them being a bit rubbish, but want something brighter with an even spread angle. I know those two don't really go hand-in-hand in terms of LED output. But I'm looking about Secondly, I have never replaced the 4 neo-wedge T3 bulbs that sit behind the blue light bars recessed into the black part of the dash surround facing the clocks.. I've never actually notice these illu…
