I just took a damaged injector out of my fuel rail and was just about to replace it with another from my spare engine when I noticed the part numbers were different although identical colours and plug type. Original part number: 1m50 0y14n 2 New part number: 1m50 9x13d 1 Are these the same apart from part numbers? Just different years?

My idea is if anyone wants to make a weekend of it we all book a Saturday night at one of the bigger hotels (that has a carpark!) The rest who just want to make an evening of it come up late afternoon and join the convoy.... and given some dry weather we cruise the illumnations both ways targas off (and heaters on most likely) Then later we hit the town and go to the Motown and Soul club near North Pier (or wh…

Ok...... Is it possible to alter the base of a H1 bulb to fit a H3 bulb fitting....... As far as I can see, the H1 base is circular with a flat to one side, and the H3 base is circular with 2 small cut-outs at opposite ends. So, to cut a long story short..... I ordered the wrong HID kit for the wife's car, and I want to fit this kit to my 300 and get here another HID kit..... ;) Alz.

I understand that my 95 Zed is a type 7 or type F single wire lock/unlock. Before I go spending hours messing around with a multimeter, does anyone know what colour that single wire is in the door harness?

Locked out of my Zed. It has an aftermarket Scorpion Alarm linked to door/boot locking but it suddenly wont release the doors or boot but still beeps as if all is ok. I have keys for boot & doors but they wont work even though they go in the lock without difficulty. Battery has been a little iffy recently so I have now put it on charge by removing loose scuttle. Can anyone help please?

Hi. And before you all say search search search.. Lol Ive sprent most of the day trying to find an idiots guide to intalling one Ive had this controller sat in my shed since i blew up my gto many years ago so thought id give it a new home in the 300 instead of the boost jet and mbc options. Now my question is on the solenoid it has 2 connections: 1 says in 2 says out Which one goes to the t'd of actuator hose in or out? Then i presume the other must go to the t'd ic pipe feed?? Also on the back of the controller there is a vac hose with a filter on it, Does this go to the aftermarket boost guage?? For the life of me i cant remember and aint finding muc…

My left 02 sensor needs replacing. I've not done this before and I understand I may need special tools to do it? Are there any good writeups on how to do this and what tools I'll need? Otherwise, does anyone have the tools already and willing to lend them to me? Promise to send them back asap! Cheers Vig

Who on here is running a apexi avcr on the zed? if you are what settings are you using on them to get the best response?. i have got mine at .9bar and at 75% duty. im sure this isnt correct tho so would like to see how others are and try them settings. I know it has a self learn on it but that has its problems as it requires full throttle runs in 3rd and 4gears which both are way past the ban limit for any roads. so if anyone could put all there settings down it would be good to compare them with. one last thing too, does your revs match the cluster rev gauge as mine is way off( at tickover 950rpm it reads on screen as around 170rpm for somd reason.

right continuing on from out tappy engined track z, we have removed the rocker covers to have a look at the lifters, now, we have found the head on the high compression side of the engine to have lifters which we can press down on, and on the other side the lifters dont compress by hand. now we turned the engine over to build oil pressure here is what we found...... the "normal" compression head on the drivers side the oil comes up through the lifters and lubricates the camshafts normally..(?) on the higher compression side (passenger side) you can here the lifters tap but more importantly there is little to no oil being forced thrugh the lifters to lubric…
