Hi all,well in a previous post i thought i had auto problems sorted..Obviously not argghh.Anyway ive got hold of a 2nd hand auto box and a mechanic willing to do the swap for me.Question..do the exhausts need to come off??..does anything else have to come off??..if the exhausts have to come off where can i source some gaskets??

I've just bought the MeisterR coilovers with front and rear camber arms, rear traction rods and front tension rods. So my speedo doesn't work. To sort this, I tried resoldering it all and it works when it wants to now. In my inexperience, I bought a set of UK clocks off eBay recently and, upon delivery, they appear to be Series 4 ones as they have an airbag light. I'd hoped that the speedo itself would be interchangeable but that doesn't appear to be the case. The actual plug sockets on the back of the entire cluster, however, look to be the same as on mine, albeit in slightly different locations. My question, then, is this: can I plug these straight into my Series 1 car and (airbag light aside) are they likely to work...??

It's my understanding that when the car is put in gear the timing should change. This should be noticeable on the rev counter, well it's not. Revs raise when you depress the clutch then stay the same as you select a gear. Trouble is my bottom pulley has no marks on it.... So what should I do first?

Went to look at a 300zx with view to using it as a parts car. Thought it was a TT but turned out to be NA. Was looking amongst other things to get exhaust back boxes, anyone know if they are te same between NA and TT. Read on US site that NA's are more restirctive as the turbo in a TT acts as a silencer therefore the back box doesn't have as much to do?

is there a headunit or on board computer out there that does just about everything so that i can get rid of all my other controls ie mbc, power meter, possibly alarm. ive found the double in head units with sat nav and everything i need 4music but ideally i could do with getting rid of all the extra control systems controls

is there any way i can turn the hicas off just like temp is there a fuse or maybe clamping the lines i need to just stop it form working so i can see if my car stops pulling to the left

Hi everyone, Just putting some feelers out, who would be up for a day out with a Zed meet mixed with a go karting competition? Looking through zedworld's goodies section is so tempting :drool: lots of nice trinkets and some aftermarket stuff too! Defiantly looking into an auto box cooler, does everyone recommend these? Speedo conversions, new clocks because mine are in kph and don't work properly, intake hose kit, possibly a different set of wheels 18" instead of 17" and ill be giving my interior a good once over and restoring the leather seats. They're not bad but starting to tear a bit. Engine bay I think needs a good old clean but I'm hesitant to let anyone jet wash it. my car pulls to the left i have try all kinds trying to short it is it possible that the hicas is faulty so as in i track the car its all straight on the machine and when i start the engine and go to drive its turns the rear wheel to one side like when the engines off no oil pressure is going to it and when i start the car it get pressure and pushs it to a new position? i know its only ment to work of say 30 or 40 mph but is it poss the oild pressure it sending it across to one side rite from starting the engine and this is why the car it pulling to one side

Just something I am toying with. I believe my Alpine double din head unit has an input for a reverse camera. I can't find the destruction manual at the moment. There's no option to set it up in the menu, but is it just a case of, plug in the camera and the head unit automatically switches on the screen when it has an input...and/or turns off the current source you're on?

As above, I know its hear somewhere but I'm fooked if I can find the thread???? anyone got the link??? Ta :)
