Anti lock light is on. is it because ive not bleed the abs nipples in the boot when i bleed my brakes?

Do you have to ,when bleeding the brake do the abs nips in the boot when your bleeding the brakes or is that one only need doing when your undone somthing to do with the master cylinder .

Water temp stuff , cant remember what its called but i think its desinged to lower your water temp by a couple degress , does anyone know if it works and also is anyone on here running on here without that sound proffing UNDER THE BONNET on there cars.?

Hello, I am new here. I own a swb manual with a Vg30DETT... There are a host of problems to solve with this car and don't know the best way of going about it. Is there a specialist I could see who can solve the following issues at a reasonable price? If so, how much would it be? The following problems: - Hicas leak ... I need to top up the reservoir with ATF Castrol Dextron II every 2 weeks or a red warning light comes on (pipe replacement? Seals?). - There is blue smoke coming from what I can only think of as oil drenched / old spark plugs... (Old old sad spark plugs). i am just playing with the idea as i'm going to do something over the winter. i know the cost of rebuilding a zed engine with all the gear to reach around 550-600 bhp with uprated turbos and boost. now after reading many threads on the forum mentioning a v8 conversion i am tempted and was even thinking of getting a soarer as a doner but after a little research i found out its a nightmare to convert to a manual. which v8 do people usually use in a zed as a v8 and a big fook off turbo might be a more suitable option for myself

Does anyone use these? I just popped over to Halfrauds to get a couple but was told they don't sell them. I suspect the likes of B&Q will sell something similar albeit not necessarily suitable for vehicles.

I have developed a funny gurgling noise which is comming from the front drivers side somewere. its like outside under bonnet /bulkhead wing. in there somewhere cant seem to track it down. ant got no leaks heater works fine its just a werd noise, untell something goes amist i cant find it, just thought id put it up here just incase some one else have had it before?

I saw your bonnet up and the police with you. Hope everything was ok, wanted to stop to help you out but didn't know what the deal was with the police.

Hiya folks, looking for some opinions from folks that have done the delete. Currently my EGR valve leaks over a bar so the boost is standard, pulling my plenum shortly and am going to either replace the valve and pipe work or delete it, so my question is..... Fuel consumption on long cruising journeys, much difference noticed in MPG from a functional valve to no valve?? Any other downside to the delete? , cheers.

Hi all, I just had the honour of being overtaken and to follow a beautifully sounding red Z from stevenage junction on a1m and up gunnleswood Road. Unfortunately I was borrowing a little 1.6 astra at the time so couldn't really keep up or give any obvious indication that I was a Z owner. Frustrating because if my Z hadn't been blocked in I would have been in the same spot, same time, different car. So if it was you, and your local, would love to meet up and have a chat one day! Hi guys, Just got her MOTd. Very happy she went through first time as it is our first MOT together. Few advisories, which would be grand to have some advice on as one of them I have never come across before... main question is how bad are these, and could any of them lend themselves to the car pulling to the left?.. see attached image. The rear rack ball joint (as far as i grasped from my mechanic) was a central ball joint which had some movement, does that sound right? and is it worth locking the hicas to stop these issues happening? Hope it isn't too large job. best, William.
