My car has developed a vibration between 70-80mph, which I think may be propshaft related.(not wheel balance) What are the parts to replace, and how much am I looking at? I seem to remember someone mention the 'centre bearing' and 'uv joints' can be at fault. JEZ

I know a lot of you are in the I.T business anyway but if your company doesn't supply hardware give me a call. My (own) company supplies I.T services and support to businesses so I can supply most brands of hardware and software. Other stuff I can get includes digital cameras and some A.V kit. Eg Sony TV's & Audio stuff. If you need anything I'll give you guys a good price. I could also do a deal/swap some hardware/labour for some Z upgrades if any of you guys are interested. At Doncaster there was a stall selling those fuel cats. You know the ones that look like a gauze bag of lead balls. They claimed it increases the octane of 95 unleaded to 99. I think personally this must be total bollox. Even proper octane booster only claims to boost it to 97 and thats £10 per litre. This is all well and good for maxy power boys who fit them to their saxo's and convince themselves that they have got 20hp extra but this could be very dangerous for someone with a proper car running high boost thinking they are using 99 octane gas. It would be great if it were true then I could buy cheap petrol again. Has anyone tried one of these? Paul

Has anyone lost the rear of their 300ZX in an unpredictable and immediate way? On a wet road and coming off of a roundabout some weeks ago, the rear of my car "flicked" sideways. I was running in a clutch and know it was a soft-foot acceleration. The roundabout exit has a ridge and an unusual camber, which with the wet road could have contributed. The sideways "flick" was not predictable, and really instantaneous. Has anybody else had this happen? I spoke yesterday to a very knowledgable person, who a number of you would know. The following is my interpretation. The HICAS is great in the dry and helps steering by "flicking" the geometry on the rear wheels …

I usually put Castrol Magnatec in coz its a decent price, you get plenty of it, and its designated for advanced engines etc... Idont want to go down the route of Mobil 1 coz its unfeasibly expensive and a bit too thin for my liking...Anyway, on my last oil change I ran some STP engine flush through before dumping the old and putting new stuff in, however, this time I'm thinking of dumping the old out first, putting some cheap oil in and running round the block - gently, and then adding the flush in to get rid of as much gunk as I can before putting the new stuff in - I've done this beofre, but not on my 300...Anyone got any 'Good god dont do that!' comments or ideas? …

Hi, Can anyone provide me with a Z parts catalogue. I have seen the Microfiche one on tt.net but SE have one where you just start clicking on areas of the car and parts and part numbers appear. Does anyone have this . . . If so can I have it please? Have mailed Bob but have had no reply :-( Ta Eddie.

Guys, When you get your exhaust gutted or De-catted etc. Do you have any problems getting the car through the MOT? Especially if you have completely different setups running aswell with diff ECU's/chips etc.? ;-)
