Anyone know the answer to this query, i'd be grateful. My 300 presently has Eibach lowering springs fitted all round, however there are times when i need to raise the front suspension height only (to drive on and off local ferry)would fitting height adjustable shocks to the front only raise it back to stock height or would it go higher, if so any ideas how high roughly and which make are the best to fit, Cheers boys, Smithy, I.O.M

Hello, I was a lucky man to be able to get my 300ZX 3 weeks ago and have not stopped fussing over it yet much to my wife's annoyance !! However, I have a few questions for some of you people that I hope you might be able to answer. 1) I need to get hold of an English Fairlady manual as mine has only been in the Uk Since November, the manual is all in Japanese including all the service docs, where can I get an English version ?? 2) When doing over 65 MPH (which I know is not wise but inevitable in a beast such as these) I get this funny very quiet electronic ping coming from the air-con unit (I think), it only starts at this speed and continues no matter how much faste…

HI ALL, I AM NEW TO THIS SITE, BUT NOT THAT NEW TO THE 300ZX. I HAVE HAD MINE FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS AND I LOVE IT. I WANT TO CHANGE MY STEERING WHEEL TO SOMTHING A BIT SMALLER AND A BIT BETTER LOOKING, BUT I CAN NOT FIND ANY LISTINGS OF A BOSS THAT WILL FIT A Z32, I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP MY 4 WHEEL STEERING THINGY UNDER THE STANDARD WHEEL, ANY IDEAS WOULD BE WELCOMED. MY SECOND PROBLEM IS THAT MY Z RUNS OK WHEN IT IS COLD BUT IF YOU STOP AT A PETROL STATION TO FILL UP, WHEN YOU START THE CAR AND SELECT DRIVE ON THE AUTO IT STALLS. THEN IT IS VERY HARD TO START AGAIN.ANY IDEAS??????? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!

I've got a few interesting bits that might appeal to someone. Firstly the black carpet in the boot. Its in as new condition. Who ever owned the car before me never used the boot, hence condition. Must be worth £35 to one of you perfectionists out there. Secondly, the targa roof covers (for storage in the boot). I've lost one, but still got the other. I would have thought its quite common for people to lose theirs. Again perfect condition (not leather. Leather look though). Lets say £8 for that. Thirdly, I've got the standard ZX toolkit, in its polystyrene container. Its in very good condition, with nothing missing. Must be worth £30 if yours in incomplete, …

The rear pads are worn out on my tt, so I would like to upgrade them whilst changing the pads and discs. Has anyone got any recommendations. Preferably like to keep the existing calipers because of lack of funds.

Last week my battery went flat - thought it was something I'd done so I charged it up and its run fine for the week and then tonight while washing the car - its done the same thing. I was listening to a minidisc on the stereo and after about 1 hour of washing etc I started to hear a clicking noise coming from the rear of the car and then the stereo started to switch on and off rapidly - then it stayed off - It did these things last week. I tried to start the car and all that would happen was the starter relay would click merrily to itself and that was it...I dont know how old the battery is but its in Japanese....Anyone recognise the symptoms and agree the battery is ju…

Hi Peeps, My mate has sadly (jammy bastard) bought a Skyline R32 GTR. I have had the scary experience of being in this car with Pete from SE when burning around country lanes in Maldon. I am impressed with it's performance however what do I need to do to beat this car. I am sure my Z will take it out on the A12. But wot about these twisty ESSEX bends?? Any guys with Z VS Skyline experiences?? I would appreciate the input. Ta Eddie ;-)

O.K One of my Tip Top contacts in the North East will be fetching me 24 Fresh LIVE Lobsters next week. Grasshopper will be putting a catalogue together aimed at our more prestigious customers (Gazmo) NO CHANCE!!!. Tooley being one of the more celebrated characters on this forum will probably have a few ideas of his own. Serving suggestions along the lines of Brick Top (PIGS SCENE) SNATCH! Lobster night to be arranged. RegardZ Johnny.

I've just had the oil in my diff and gearbox changed. The garage followed the instructions in the service manual, but I have a problem now. In the morning (or when the car is cold) it clunks into 1st and 2nd gear. Once warmed up it's no problem. This wasn't the case before, I bought the oil they put in - it was 80/90 ( the spec. is 80 for the gearbox and 90 for the diff.) so I made a compromise. Any one had the same problem - or found a better oil to use in the gearbox. It's okay once warmed up, but a bitch to start with.

Well come on guys, not a bad idea eh? I'm into my Superbikes and most of the mags have these great pics of the geezers ride with his scantily clad wife/girlfriend/whatever posing with the bike. How about the same with the Z's. Spice things up a bit 'round here! What does everyone else think? Tim ;-{)
