I would just like to say thanks to Pete R for putting himself into the firing line like he has. I'm not trying to take sides or anything like that in any of the ongoing debates that may be going on, i just want to show my respect for what he has done. To come on here and openly ask for criticism, as well as feedback, on his company, service and staff was a brave thing to do. Personally, i hope he becomes a more regular poster, and would welcome the occasional Tech Tip ;) Craig

Anyone who want to upgrade to a bigger ball bearing type turbo made by HKS and capable of producing over 600hp but still being perfectly usable for normal driving.... There could be a place in the GB available if you want to jump in now. Email me for specs and further details. Serious enquiries only please. Steve

As the general forum is getting a higher and higher turnover, some of the upcoming events and sale/purchase requests are getting lost down the list. So, we are creating a couple more forums for us to use. For Sale and Wanted - does this really need explaining how it works ? ;0 Events - This is to advertise upcoming events, give information about them, and for people to show interest in attending. I will fill in as much info as possible when i start them off later. Craig

I have been searching insurance from various places and my best quote was £820.00, Not bad for the 300TT I want (which i'm off to view in a bit). Just for information, I'm 27, 4 years NCB and live in a 'good' area (according to the insurance people) Is this a good quote? What do you guy's pay? (and who with) Thanks Matty.

At last, just got word that the GT2530 turbo's in the tt.net GB are on route. Might have them fitted just in time for the dyno tun.... whenever that is! Steve

Whilst changing the waterpump cause of a leak, more disapointment, I have discovered that the bearings have gone in the alternator and also the power steering pump. Also I can pull the front of the power steering pump out so fluid leaks every where is this normal? Has anyone got either parts in working order for sale. It is a jap car so I think the alternator is different size to UK, is this correct?

I recently posted a query asking advice on replacing the clutch on my Z (2 seat NA). I was worried that I could get a part that didn't fit. Someone posted: 'it should fit the only difference with your car is the chassis. it shorter than ours' The part I ordered through Nissan based on the chassis numebr didn't fit, so I've just been back down there to pick up a different one while my Z has sat in pieces overnight at the garage. I got the part number off the old clutch cover. A point to remember is that not all Z clutches fit all Zs. Just thought I'd mention it. Andy

I have seen some pics of a Z I like, So I contacted the owner and spoke to him about various things and I suggested that I would get it checked out (nothing wrong in that I thought) But when I asked him for the VIN mumber he refused......Why? Am I in the wrong or has he something to hide? Or do I not need the VIN number? ....Help!! I only want to buy a Z.....

Does anyone know if the driver and passenger seats can be swopped to reduce wear? If not what about the backrest section only? Cheers

Is there a decision on 1st of April yet? Is the RWYB on at the Pod or not.If theres a few of us heading south for it we could arrange to meet up at certain motorway service stations on the way (preferably ones which have a McDonalds or KFC.) Also are we doing a group thing for Trax 2001 this year Paul

Guys, Was reading the past posts and read about the pager alarm Bob was supplying some time back. Was wondering how it all went with those of you who purchased it. Seems really cheap 35pds or something wasnt it?? Will Bob be at the meeting on the 1st April I wouldnt mind getting one. If everyone seemed happy with theirs I may give it a go. I've got a Toad alarm, was it easy to fit on yours or did Bob have to do it? I take it everything is still on for the 1st April. Thanks.

Has any one used this as it is supposed to make the water more efficient at collecting heat and as such reduces the radiator temp.

My washer pump has given out for the windscreen washers. Should i buy from nissan or are the any other options from other motot factors i should consider. Can i do this myself (non experienced with car mechanics). Part no. and cost. Also what oil should i have i'm having my 300 serviced for the first time since i bought it, any thing else i need to ask the garage to look out for (they've never done a 300 but have plenty of experience with Evo's) Sorry for the boring stuff JW

my 300ZX is the 3rd car ive had which is a turbo. on all the others there has been a noticable shove as the turbo's come in. even though my Z is a lot faster than anything else ive had i do feel that there should be a bit more oomph at say 3500rpm. my Z is a stock import. is this normal.

Are there any 300zxtt owners in the Kent area with good condition standard back boxes left over from an exhaust upgrade. If so, i am looking for some.

If I find a decent 300Z I would need someone who knows what there looking for (and looking at) to come with me to view the 300Z so I don't make a mistake! (see bad experiences forum) If possible and doesn't put anyone to much trouble and they live in the Birmingham area, let me know if you could help. Many Thanks, Matty.

I thinking of putting in an aftermarket boost gauge. Any recommendations? They look fairly easy to install by splicing into the feed to the stock sensor under the hood. Is this the best method? Comments appreciated. Glenn

I am looking to buy a 300Z and need to know what to look out for and what to avoid when buying a Z, I have owned a 2 seater in the past but it went back after 3 weeks due to it being a 'shed', I need some help, thanks in advance.
