Can't believe it. I searched all over the US but found it here in Stockholm! These were the last 2 titanium keys in Sweden. There was one big problem though...they were already cut! I compared them to my key and in only one spot the key was cut a bit deeper than mine. I took the chance... Got them for half the normal price (2 keys for ~$100). I went to a lock smith and he said it wouldn't work...I said I'll try anyway... Got home and with a shaking hand inserted the key and turned it NO PROBLEM!! Woohoo! It fits all the locks on the car! Guess today is my lucky day :-) Here's a pic: The funny thing is that I've got the key replica from that "F8…

I have an old 300zx automatic, she has done 105,000 miles, and was on the road until the end of January this year until her TAX ran out and I do not have the time to fix the broken windscreen wiper on the drivers side for the MOT, She does still drive, infact driving around is the one thing she has always done without fault, however she only got used on the weekends down on the Isle Of Wight. So Parts Or Repair? interested? Email jga.taylor@btinternet.com OR Call 07974371912

From my ealier post you may not be surprised to know that I have 4 std wheels for sale, good condition, tyres knackered, and a pair of front std calipers. Anyone interested?

Those of you with bigger front brakes will know that the spare wheel is only of use if you get a puncture/bend a rim in the rear tyres. So.......did you keep the spare tyre to cover for the rear tyres only, or did you ditch it, save a bunch of kgs/ make room for the sub, and pray you never have a puncture? In my experience punctures tend to be slow punctures anyway. What did you do?

it is on my birthday, and in east london. Currently 4 places spare. Outside circuit, 950m, 75mph, twin engine, 45 minute flat out race, bbq afterwards. f1city price is £116 all in. A couple of family and close friends cant make it, hence the places. If you are interested, email me craig@avnet.co.uk, and i'll fill you in. Only downside is payment due almost immediately.

My neighbour took me to a Subaru arranged rolling road day. Very interesting but I could not be persuaded to see how big mines was Z wise - had visions of a big bang or something terrible happening in front of these Subaru guys. They also had EvoVI and P1s etc with over 300hp and typically 70bhp lost in the transmissions. Anybody know what a good Z does auto vs manual and how the modded ones fare? My neigbours chipped decated modded intake and special exhaust Scooby felt incredibly fast had 265lbft torque yet only 30bhp over standard on the rolling road. Its sad guys checking how big their's is isnt it?

After taking my Z out for a ride at the weekend to wear in my new RPS clucth, it seems to be hard to get it from 1st gear into 2nd. It has no problem going down from 3rd into 2nd. Is this just where it is new? Will it eventually wear in and improve or does this new clutch have a problem? I would be grateful for any views guys. Thanks.

Gents, I need advice once again! My 92 import has been mis behaving for a while now, but this afternoons fun and games have kinda caused me to take action and get it fixed! Occasionally, normally whilst the engine is still cold (ish) and under hard acceleration the engine cuts out momentarily (its definately electrical). Today it even back fired through the intake. Not good. The last straw was powersliding off a roundabout today (sunny day - roof off etc etc..) and having the engine cut out, which then caused the car to dart unexpectedly (at least for the other drivers!) across both lanes off the roundabout and back again. Hmmm. So how bout it doct…

Does anyone know of anywhere in Northern (or even Southern) Ireland where I can take my very sick Z for a tune-up? I refuse to let the local dealer touch it, ever since I had to explain what a Balance Tube was. What I really need is somewhere I can take it and say "Here you go - make this go right, please." Any suggestions? Thanks! Jonny Clark - Belfast

So anyway chums I am now at the next stage of "spending my hard earned" so far I have the exhaust, air intake sorted(nice one thanks Johnny) my next plan is to put a straight through exhaust into the equation. (I currently have a cat back veilside system) I have decided that a gearbox oil cooler would probably be a good (but boring)idea before I go any further, But I also want to fit a JWT ecu + boost jets (obviously..!!??)but I am incredibly impatient so what would be the sensible approach "fit the pipes JWT and take a chance .. OR be very very sensible and do the oil cooler first?? OR is the automatic gearbox on a 1990TT import so strong that it needs …

One of the exhaust smells of carbon but not the other. Any ideas?? Do you think its a spark plug or HT lead problem or something more sinister?
