Misfiring and Choking??

Need advice pelase.

 

my Zed's started to play up 91TT(import 2+2).

 

It misfires and chokes know and again. One day it will be fine and another it will play up.

 

One of the exhaust smells of carbon but not the other.

 

Any ideas??

 

Do you think its a spark plug or HT lead problem or something more sinister?

    It could be a number of things causing the problem and a consult test would probably diagnose it quite quickly.

     

    The O2 sensors in the exhausts monitor the amount oxygen and the readings are used by the ecu for correct air/fuel ratio.

     

    If one of these plays up then it can have an effect.

     

    If you can get down this way then have Darren give your Z a full service/inspection.
