This has just landed in my email. Dont know if it works. If anyone tries it let the rest of us know ;-) /\/\ark We discovered that this procedure works nationwide. Read it and try it, you have nothing to lose but the points on your license. This is how it works: If you get a speeding ticket or went through a red light or whatever the case may be, and you are going to get points on your licence, then there is a method to ensure that you DO NOT get any points. When you get your fine, send in the cheque to pay for it and if the fine is say, 40, then make the cheque out for 41 or some small amount over the fine. The system will then have to send …

Thanks to people who replied to my previous post. I fitted a SONY head unit today in place of the OE Clarion model. It fits okay, but there is no way I can get the plastic surround to fit, any one had this problem before? What do you do? Also reading throught the service manual I found out the AMP is for the rear speakers, however - It doesn't say where it is. Is it in the back of the car, or should it be in with the Head Unit? If it should, mine must have been missing. Thanks again.

I seem to have trashed a complete set of Bridgy S02's in about 4000 miles. Do we have a) a favoured recomendation for replacements and b) a reasonably priced supplier ? I just checked Kwik-Fit online and came up with F £172, R £193. Last time I used them the price was OK, but they managed to get the wheels mixed up ( L-R not front to back!) and TOTALLY screwed the balancing.

One for the wheel and tyre experts out there. Should the tyre pressures stay as standard with bigger wheels and tyres? It seems to me that if the tyre is wider then the pressure should come down a bit on standard. I have 235/40 - 18 front and 265/35 - 18 rear.

My Z is in need of a spray job after being vandalized end of last year. My insurance company have told me to use my local Nissan garage, but I'm considering using Luke (Z centre). I've had previous bother with paintshops and insurance (I used a friends mate for a previous job and they did a bodge)and I basically wanted to know if anyone has used Luke for paintjobs and how have you found it. I've seen Steve E's job and it's very nice, but I just want to make sure. Vijay

It looks like it's my turn for a bit of bad luck. Can you believe that my Zed got damaged whilst on my drive! Got home Friday to find a big dent into the drivers door and rear quarter panel. The impact is right where the door handle is and I can't open the door!!! I couldn't quite believe what i was looking at!!!! I knock on the neighbours door and they saw everything and got the car registration!! Result!!! So the police have the number and will contact to say they will be prosecuting. I hope they throw the book at them. I will need a new door skin and rear quarter panel. They also hit the bumper on the back and that will need replacing. Min…

Couple of questions: 1) I have the original Radio Cassette and CD Player in my car. It all works, aside from the CD Display has died. I have just brought a SONY CD head unit. What do people have in place of the CD player in their cars. I.E. The slot underneath, in my old 200SX I had a small compartment with a spring loaded flap. 2. Are the rear speakers 4x6? I put some Kenwood ones in my 200 and you could hardly hear them? Are they worth getting, which are the best and is there a better option. I don't want to go mad? Thanks, Martin

I have just fitted new bulbs to the front fog lights on my Jap Z. I tried to remove the lights by undoing the screws in the lens but found out later this was the adjustment screw... der! How do I re-align them? & What is the light pattern spec in the UK?

I'm in dire need of a pair of standard intercoolers for a project only. Willing to buy if very cheap, rent for 2 months or better still borrow, even swap for a spare pair of radiator hoses or Momo Carbon Shadow gear knob. They can be in any condition, no matter how bad, if successful will be of benefit to all in the club, so dig em out and give us a bell on 01624-677424 or e-mail smithy@manx.net. Cheers boys.... Smithy, I.O.M.

i am having trouble finding a colour match for the paint on my car code reads EH7, had the colour made up but is no where near the correct shade, does any body else have the same colour but with a different code on aluminium plate under the bonnet. cheers "T".

...I replaced them last week, and I am not sure what condition they should be in, if the engine is running correctly. I thought a plug, oil and filters change was in order after a hard winter's commuting.Especially as the plugs were the original ones fitted in Japan. I have stuck with Castrol RS oil, which seems a decent enough oil...I used it b4, six months ago. JEZ300Z

Hi, ok here goes, The venue is a lakeside windmill pub/hotel complex, with play area, restaurant, large car park with hedges as divisions one of which im sure will be ours!(not hedges). We have permission of the venue for this Z head meet. It is called THE CALDECOTTE ARMS. The pubs map is too confusing to read from out of the area. So please go to www.streetmap.co.uk then click post code.- enter post code MK7 8HP. This will give you a very close map! Then click on the minus square at the bottom of the screen, this will pan out the map, keep clicking untill you are familiar with the map & print off what you need. The venue is only 200 yds from the A5 dua…
