GuyZ, This is really baking my noodle, that gorgeous pearl white 300ZX at SE with the Stillen kit on...the rear spoiler...is that a Stillen invention? I've been on Phuong's website as I can't get onto the Stillen site, firewall seems to think that the word "Stillen" is related to ENTERTAINMENT in some way...WTF? On Phuong's site the rear Stillen spoilers that he's got don't really resemble that beasts' fantastic show of "I'm a f**kin' 'ard bastard...don't mess with me!!!" or else spoiler! HELP! Tim ;-)

When driving (appropriatly)! my car has started skipping a bit, MK has a nat speed limit almost everywere. big a pedal, focus on rondabout, stamp on b pedal, abs saves all, squirt on a pedal hit a bump or manhole passenger givin lords prayer! Arse end bouncing sideways like a Dale Winton fan! never happend before but now its noticable, checked all I can think of bushes, pressures, shocks, etc. Antbody got some ideas Hicas ok. The car has now settled in after some weeks of bit cleaning and maint', its a lot quicker but surely some tlc, would not cause this? harve.

For the classic enthusiast. 1954 morris minor, black, split screen, rare juke box dash, trafficators (no indicators), red interior, no seat belts, button start, plate LSL 966 (LSLY 66), loads of work & history, 1 years mot & ministry classic inspected 2 weeks ago, tax exempt, chrome quite good, and its not rotten. A steel at £600 (the plate is worth that) if you can pass it on for more (not hard) your welcome. I need the garage space for the Z, and the dosh for some upgrades!!! I can e-mail pics if needed. Roll up, roll up, this is a nutter bargain. Contact the above. harve.

Further to an earlier post re my aircon not working. Is the assembly on the end of the compressor next to the pulley called the clutch? If so should it turn when the aircon is switched on? Obviously the belt is driving the pulley but the end assembly is not turning. Help! Glenn

Has anyone ever been and is anyone going this year? Website is http://www.jae.org.uk and I think it's on 28th and 29th July. Looks good, but I only spotted old Z's in the photo album from last year. It's being held at Billing Aquadrome. Just wondered if it's worth a meet or a show of cars etc. Tim ;-)

I could not stand any more!!. The grey tweed carpet material trim in my Zed HAD TO GO!. So I spent my bank holiday removing the offending material and replacing it with matching colour charcoal vinyl. I had no experience in doing this sort of thing before and hoped it would not turn out crap!. However it can be done ( even by me ) and it turned out very well. I did not want to go for a change in colour such as red and kept it in charcoal to match the leather. This has made the interior look much more refined. The total cost was £70.00 for the material and contact adhesive ( and my time, a day and half!). I would advise anyone who has an early Zed with this tweed car…

posted 29-05-2001 07:53 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, If anyone is looking for a non-turbo car, I will be selling mine shortly. My car will be on the "Z club" stand at the classic car show at Tatton Park, this Sunday.(June 3rd) It is an NA 2+2 imported last year.It has the rare 5 speed manual gearbox and electric leather seats. The mileage is approx 54,000, converted to mph by the previous owner. The only modification is a full stainless steel, catless exhaust system, with large bore tailpipes,(cost £1000!) fitted by Luke Borg at the end of last year. (see pictures on my profile) I don't…

Which octane boosters have you chappies tried and do they make a noticeable difference? I've seen a few different brands but a lot of them have other fuel system cleaners and lubricants which I don't know if I should be feeding to my toy. I don't intend using all the time but next time I'm out for a days thrash I fancy a try.

Hmmm. Only had the car a couple of days and I guessed I would have a few little probs. Now excuse my lack of knowledge, but I think my TTmanual is running safety boost. It seems to *really* fly, but that is relative (relative to the fact I have never driven a zTT).. The boost gauge wont go above 6/7.. What should it read in a full-on, flat out kill the porsche at the lights situation?? Apologies for not searching thru the forum but it's late and i'm tired I read somewhere that the gauge should hit 10/11 and if it doesn't it's stuck in safety. Any pointers would help Also, I find that the HICAS light comes on after about 20 minutes of driving at 80mph and…

HI all with UD pullies. Just had one fitted and I just wanted to get an Idea of what I can expect. All the devices off the pully are running ok but when I get over 5000 rpm I get a bit of vibration and noise from the engine which gets dramatically worse by the time I hit 6000 rpm. Car used to be happy revving to 7000 so it's sounds like the pully needs further balancing or is this a trait with all pullies. Ta Eddie ;-) [This message has been edited by crazy_eddie (edited 27-05-2001).] [This message has been edited by crazy_eddie (edited 27-05-2001).]

I was travelling round the M25 yesterday (junction 29 - 6) when I noticed there was about 10 small pylon like things with cameras on top of them (about 10metres high, and about 200yrds distance between each one). Are these things those bastard speed cameras which work out your average speed and don't flash. I bloody hope they weren't otherwise me and the the TT quattro I was toying with are gonna be banned!! I know the police were installing them but I didn't know they were there. Doh!!!! Anyone know?? CheerZ Chris

Ive just came in from work to a lovely renewal from my insurance last year i was paying £540 which i think is good for a TT 1994 with a couple of mods but 6 months ago my wife skidded on some ice and hit a car resulting in a fault claim so anyway back to this renewal they want £1532 this year how the frecking hell can they justify that. When i rung them they told me its because it was because of the claim being my fault and they have to get so much back as theys more and more claims. Rip off or wat ? Can anyone recommend another as ive always thought i was lucky with insurance and didnt worry about it. Terry.
