Hi all, I am looking for a new car at around £10,000 and was thinking of an early Toyota Supra Turbo (new shape) when I noticed a lot of interest in 300ZXs. Can you tell me what sort of car I would get for £9-10k and what problems they tend to have (i.e. cambelt, four wheel steering, turbos etc.), running costs, servicing schedules and the like. Also if there are any specialist dealers in the Midlands that sell/service these cars, that would be really useful. Thanks, Dominic

Is there anyone here who had to upgrade/replace their seats for the leather option? How much did/should it cost? Thanks

Hi further to a previous post anyone got any ideas about my Jap import TT the power cuts at 125mph not violently or anything real softly like a controled ignition cut.The boost remains at max (stock) but 125mph is the max speed, releasing the go pedal and dropping 5 mph restores full power till 125mph and cut again.I know Japs are restricted (had one before although that had a Veilside chip and loads of go power 160mph+) but thought standard limit was 112 mph? is it poss it is de-limited but not very well also any contacts on a chip ? Or as a short term cure can get a UK spec ecu any thoughts? Help its driving me mad Jeff TT

Is there anybody else interested in a Strosek style rear bumper for a standard width 2-seater? I don't want to increase the width of my imported TT 2-seater (SWB) car.

The top of the my fan shroud in pretty naked. half of it is missing and the other is cracked. obviously some sap has lent on it before and the fan has chewed it up. I know Paul baily Designs do one for around £80, but does anyone know ehere I can get hold of a pice of carbon fibr to make my own. Should be pretty straight forward me thinks, just pop rivet it to the originbal. Glenn

I just wanted to know if it's normal for the turbo's to whistle/howl. I saw on another forum that someone thought it was a sign of the turbos going. Thanks Vijay

O.K guys. Time to check your bank balance again. I am organising an order with both Stillen and Turbo technics for all kinds of gear, i.e shocks / cluthes / anti sway bars etc. If you want anything please let me know. Some of you may have read Smithy`s post regarding Breather Kits. I will be placing another order courtesy of Bill Mullins, so if anyone would want one I maybe able to get the price down for a group order. Let me knoe ASAP. After a spankin' new set of boots 900 miles ago, I'm ready for more. (rear that is). And after a long conversation with Andy Duff, (cheers mate). :-) It seems even Bye eye the toe in is miles out! I can knock up a jig with a 48" vernier guage to measure the differance! & correct by perhaps dividing the inclusion x 4 ! Is this correct are the wheels absolute parralel on draft (sides) Can 'Kwick Zit' & such do a satisfactory job or do I 'ave a go. Experiences welcome. harve.

Hi I am in sweden in Vasteras til the 19/6/01 and I havewn't seen any ZZZ yet. Do we have any members in Sweden?

On a course today & tomorrow and don't have email addresses for you all at home (due to windows reinstall). As per my emails yesterday, I'm assuming we'll meet at Craig's at 6:20 with the aim of leaving immediately. This will give us time to get to Dover and sort of Warren's ticket problem. Andy, if you get to me at 6:00 then I'll have the kettle on ! And, having looked at Andy's "guide to Le Mans", it looks as though I chose about the loudest, lariest campsite going. Still, the Sunday night drag racing looks like a bit of fun ... Dave

Hi Guyz, I would like to read some thoughts about where to put these blow off valves. I am getting the four rubber hoses changed to s/steel ones, and because the blow off valves look good I want them under the bonnet. They are a bit crap under the bumper any way. Which set of pipes do you all think would be better the inside or the outside set? Which would be louder and which ones lost a member about 40 bhp???.

Ok, I've been searching the net for Bodykits for days now... and though I've found quite a few, (mainly Veilside) I don't like them as much as the one I have already. So.... much broader research is needed, which is where you all come in. I need as many kit options as I can lay my hands on. So ask yourselves...what is the nicest looking kit you've seen on a Z (and can you supply a link to its picture...name it's manufacturer... or perhaps even the supplier?) ANY help you can all offer will be much appreciated Thank you [This message has been edited by Jayen (edited 12-06-2001).]
