while chatting to duffman on msn he told me that you could gut out the centre silencers to make the standard zorst sound louder. Is this right and could ne1 tell me in laymans terms how to do it?

Heard back from the states about a group buy on these keys, they are out of stock and placing anew order in 2 weeks time,order takes around 4-5 weeks to come through, cost for 5 or more works out £80.00 each, delivered to me, inclusive of blah blah the usual crap, they require a 50% deposit to secure orders, expensive i know, if you want 1 and the little prsentation box and certificate that goes with it, i guess i can do it with my paypal account, Smithy

Some of you guys have got rad kits ordered from me, despite ordering silicone from 2 suppliers, i'm still waiting, so have now done a replacement top hose in stainless, if you have a kit on order and would prefer this alternative to the Samco top, then let me know, if you prefer to wait for top silicone instead, let me know also, cheers smithy, now hopefully the pic !

You read my "How-To"...haven't you ? You need a one Megaohms resistor...it could be 1/4 watt, 1/2 watt..or whatever...makes no difference. You can get it into and decent electronics store...or get an old board with resistors, and find a convenient one. Zee you Henri ------------------

Hi, I'm looking to buy a used 300zx soon. Looking for some pointers. My current concern is that used car book says the the manual boxes tend to shred. Is this crap or are the manuals okay ? Nothing in the Z-buying guide to suggesting this ? Thanks in advance

Ok the dyno day shall be held on the 24th of November. 33 squid per person. that is for the day. you can do more than one run. It is in Hartfedshire (not sure if thats spelt correct) If you are interested, mail me with a definate yay or nay, once i have revieved your mail and money i shall give you the adress details. Hi all, I remember that a little while back someone posted on this forum that if the steering wheel is not on straight that it affects the HICAS. Sounds logical to me since the HICAS gets it's input from two rings on the steering column. My steering wheel is not on straight (not off by much but still ...) and I'd like to put it straight. Can anyone tell me what the procedure is for this (location of screws, nuts & bolts, clips and other things annoying)? Appreciate your help! Incedentally, was speaking to Luke at the ZCentre a few weeks ago about replacing the steering wheel and he told me that if you put any other wheel on then you lose the HICAS …

Had a test drive in an Audi TT 1.8 225bhp yesterday up for 27k on a 2000x plate 10 k miles cheeky git offered me 2.5k for my zed had no intent of buying just took up on a test drive offer. Having checked on jam jar .co.(link below) they value the Audi at 20k and my zed at 4.5k Seems this Audi dealer is shafting buyers at both end of the deal! I wonder if anyone of you lovely, cuddly folks in zx-land could tell me about installing a boost controller. When I bought the Zed (which I just cannot bring myself to sell) ChrisF told me the previous owner had had it prepped for a major BHP increase. So what is a boost controller and where can I buy one, is J@GPS the man to see? do I need different injectors?, I have read about the welding tips but have to confess to not really understanding it all. Does it allow variable boost and how is it controlled (ie controller in the dash?>) Also does a B/C over-ride the natural settings of the ECU? Thanks folks ------------------ Glen :)
