I just finished replacing ye old centre bearing and gearbox mount. The centre bearing wasn't to bad, just off centre, and the mount had sagged about 15mm, cause I had to jack the gearbox up that amount to re-fix the support bracket. On driving my car feels totally transformed so smooth and no clunking or bad vibes. BOOOYAKASHAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!! cheerZZZZ Jonny......

I have loads of these and I suspect that this thread will either be embarassing or very funny. A couple of my own little challenges : 1) Car Park Barrier. To get into the car park at work, I have to swipe a card through a card reader to get the barrier up. I am not allowed to stop moving forwards while swiping the card through the machine. 2) Indicator matching. If I'm sitting behind a car with indicators on and have no passengers then I have to flick my own indicator on and off in time with the car in front and mustn't get out of time ? 3) Motorway lane changes. I'm not allowed to touch cats eyes. 4) Wipers on intermittent - I have to predict whe…

Right, I can use the Kirk for obvious reasons...this one is a blast! Last Friday on me way home I was on the A5 which is a lovely fast section of road. Loadsa round-a-bouts to navigate and dual carriageway on this stretch. So the order of the day is usually, cain it...slow down sharpish...round-a-bout...cain it...slow down etc. etc. You get the idea! Anyway, Kirk is in need of some serious servicing and is behaving like a naughty school boy at the moment! NOT GOOD! I'm on the inside lane approaching a large round-a-bout thingy, two young and fit girlies in outside lane in VW Golf, we get round the round thing and I'm in inside lane coming up on a car r…

So the question i would like to know is there any solenoid CONNECTORS in the engine bay that i may have disturbed.I need to know this before i comence with any gear box spesialists(sorry cant spell)Thanks for thouse who have helpt…

Washing the car and discoverd a full door length scratch on the passeger door. Like its a nasty wavy line, spent best part of an hour cutting and mopping, finally polished up and all but a 1" bit gone thank crikey. What is it with these people?? its obvious that some nut has done it deliberate, I park it in two car places in car parks and the like to avoid knocks but you can`t stop vandals, I give in,wish I caught the little B??tard. Hi took my Z to be pluged in at Nissan to day the engine was given clean bill of health,so that means i waisted £400 fucking quid at my local gararge trying to put it right,BASTARD!!!!!! Any way the problem for my Z ocasionly lossing power is the Auto gear box (WHAT?),the read out says the following,"TCM detects an improper voltage drop when it tries to operate the solenoid valve" The check list is as follows,"Harness or connectors,(the solenoid circuit is open or shorted.)Or line pressure solenoid"that is what it says word for word.I spoke to a guy called Bob at a company in Notts called Oak dean,he says this does not have to mean the gear box has to come out, some ti…
