Right - it's not going over the intake area! Maybe the best option to get a stick-on one which I don't like the sound of... sticker onto paint - ouch. What have you other peeps done where there's no place to mount it...???

(Thanks for your reply MR Viking, still nedd more input...) Hi, Please comment on any of the below... I'm after the usual 18" wheels and want to make sure I get the Ideal sizes/offset for street use without spacers, tyre walls wearing in the wrong place etc. I'm after 18x8.5f and 18x9.5 rear I'll get tires with a profile to match the stock diameter. I think the ideal tires are 235F and 255R? Stock offsets are 35mmF and 45mmR What offset change will I require (if any) with wider wheels/tires? (What is a valid range) Do you know how much a bigger offset will effect my Camber (I assume Caster and Toe is uneffected) Last alignmen…

Radiator leak and the Z will be off the road for a couple of months if it's not a good idea to use this stuff on a Z. MAC1 says it's a no-no Any other opinions?

Many thanks...regardz

Got my Z up on the ramps at Kwik Fit and spotted a split at bottom right (looking from beneath engine to front) between the plastic case and cores. Water running out continuously. How much is a new radiator from Nissan or are there any uprated ones available? The Kwik Fit manager used to work on Z's and guessed at £800 plus 5 hours fitting? Also said a re-core of mine would be about £300 but are these any good/reliable? Bought some RadWeld for £3.99 but is it any good and will it damage anything on a Z monster before I try it as a last resort? I need a 60K service and Cam belt change so does the rad have to come out anyway? Presume it will be cheaper to get bo…

Having spent most of last wednesday commuting back and forward down the M6 past B.ham in roadworks finaly was able to floor it,however the Alfa 2.5 V6 Twin spark behind me had the same thought, so had to show him error of his ways an left him for dead, but as I smuggly looked back a yellow dashboard warning light flashed, just caught it in the corner of my eye.In a millisecond of heart stopping panic my mind raced to what was the reason, as time almost froze still, my eyes moved to the offending light and started to focus... already my gut instinct was to back off the loud pedal instantly,as the car lurched off boost and Alfa man caught up I imagined the mess, the cost and …

Just thought I'd let you all know that I just went to see this film and it is extremely funny and worth seeing if you liked the first (I thought this was slightly better than the first one). Anyway, Z content: in one scene, there is a very good looking red 300ZX convertible that goes by in the background VERY slowly and in full focus. NICE CAR!!! Anyway, go see the film, even if it's just for the Z scene and the lesbian scene Andy

I thort I would share my experience today in the hope that it may for warn other first time buyers and also that someone may be able to advise me on the problems I have encountered. The car in question is a 92 UK spec TT with 100K and lots of history, all for the reasonable price of £4400. Having shopped around for a while I decided that this was the one to go for, despite the 220 mile drive, the owner assured me the car was in excellent condition and that I would not be disappointed. Left home at 7:45 and arrived at mid-day. The car was still in his garage and on him driving it out I was very impressed. Highly polished with near perfect 17” Venom alloys, n…

  18. Braking whilst crawling in traffic causes a thumping sound from under the front of my car. I can feel it in the footwell but not through the Steering wheel. I jacked my car up and found a little bit of play in my track rod end ball joints... When I removed the gaiter there was a washer/spacer that just seems to be doing nothing!! It's not fixed to the rack end or the ball end - HELP? Does this make sense - I have hit a couple of V bad pot holes V recently - can this be related? Any ideas guys?

I take it "The Cannonball Run" is off next year then? You Guys should be ashamed of yourselves...hanging on to Craigs apron strings like that! Squabbling amongst yourselves like silly schoolgirls!"It wasn't me Sir! It was him!" A lot of you are guilty of the supposed offences, but prefer for others to be the scapegoats. I suggest you run after some of your departed fellow board members and ask them to come back. Shame on you all, you bunch of Hypocrytes!!

Just a word of warning and its only my opinion,a dealer in B.ham (link below) who has been selling imports for some time,I checked the site out earlier this year and the cars I looked at were crap! I mean really crap! a J reg black imnport had starship mileage and was wearing its engine oil on the outside, also paint overspray from an obvious adjacent car had covered the car in green fleck. The leather was totaled and the seat belt date was 1990! a grey one K reg (also on 1990 seat belt date)was at another site they own, that looked like it had been resprayed outside in the rain. The prices were top as well £7500 and £7999 I have spoken to a few in the trade and they ar…
