Heres a problem i have been putting up with for weeks now. I should really get it sorted. After starting the car the power steering usually goes off after a few minuits then a few minuits later the hicas light usually comes on. If I turn off the ignition and restart everythings fine again for a little while then it goes again. The speedo is working fine so It cant be the speedo sensor thats bucked. any suggestions? Paul

Opinions please guys. Although my car passed its MOT today, there were a few points noted..... 1) Front top link bushes are buggered (passable with a warning). I'm thinking of going for adjustable rods and was wondering what other people have fitted, have looked at fitting etc etc etc. Have looked at the Stillen bars but would rather have a rose jointed style if it is available..... 2) The hicas end rods are going at the hub. Are there any uprated versions out there or am I stuck with the nissan versions??? I still want to keep the HICAS so don't even go there 3) Sills are rotten (I think this is SRRAE's territory) and need replacing - thoughts on…

mine is a 90 jap and wont go any faster than about 120. I am planning on intake kit, gutted cats or cat back, front and back exhaust, and maybe be having a play around with the boost at sometime (like there's no way I'm going to resist that!)and also will look into plugs, timing etc etc etc.....al in the future. question: I want to lose the limiter but dont see the point in forking out on a new chip just to do that when I know that the engine is going to need to be managed differently once I start bolting stuff on,so, is there some way of jumping past the limiter without spending a fortune ?

I contacted my warranty company about my knackered heater matrix and they won't pay Nissan Dealer prices but the dealer I bought the car from have a special rate with the Honda Main Dealer down the road. I took my car down there this morning and they phoned back an hour later saying one of the hoses under the engine has also split (fair enough I thought) and they can't check the heater matrix without full pressure in the system so the hose will have to be fixed first. I said surely you can take the dash off and look at the heater matrix as it must be fairly obvious if its broken as its dumped several litres of water into my car, not just a few drips. No, they cannot tell …

Why doe sit keep staying on for ages after I've taen the brake off ? Not too worried if it's just because the brake needs adjusting, but does the light signify anything else ? Also does anyone know how much a cv joint is for the Z ?

Hi ya guys! As I'm coming down to meet y'all this Saturday, I'd like to know how long you guys are going to be there. I need to drop the other half off at Leighton Buzzard first at around 0900hrs. Will you still be there around 0930/1000hrs? And until when is the event? Sorry for the daft questions. Cheers Danny

...no its not what you think...honest the rear of my Z will be de-badged soon as I'm getting a round tail light conversion. I'm not sure whether to go for the anonymous 'guess what car this is' look, or whether to put a new style red "Z" badge in the centre of it, or something else to fill the space. Cheerz, Dave
