Just got back from getting petrol and the car is pissing out with steam - let it cool and tried removing radiator cap but brown shitty liquid still coming out... It has also not been giving me the 'power' in normal mode for 10 sec (auto) when I put my foot down for the last few days Please advise...

Just to let you all know that I have been using the car for nearly two weeks now - with the 130w bulbs - and everything is very cool! No melting wires, and no blowing fuses, as some of you predicted. So - go buy them £4.99 each from Halfords - Headlight Bulb 492. If you cant solder - send them to me and I will do it for you!

does anyone know who can supply a larger oil cooler that i can use for the auto box. I've found someone who will supply a cooler (about £60) for me but the fittings are all BSP threaded. What I was really after was one I could use that had the same size flow/return parts asthe existing one so I can just find a place to put it and use the same size pipes with jubliee clips..... any ideas chaps ??? thx

My car is now a feline free zone. The cats are officially off and the exhaust sound very little different from before. Maybe marginally louder and a little bit deeper. The bad news is that a stone went through my indicator lens on the way back from the workshop. So now I need a RH Jap spec indicator. Anybody ??? Anyone with a spare going to the RR tomorrow ???? Help .....

Anyone ever replaced the bearings on the alternator mine are starting to grumble.?? Also recently replaced the water pump with a genuine nissan replacement only covered about 1100 miles, taken my alternator off and bugger me if there's not a bit of play again on the water pump shaft?? Anyone know WTF going on there??? And no I didn't over-tighten the drive belt. Looking at my fan seems OK albeit stiff to rotate? If anyone can shed any light on this I would be grateful cheerZZZZ Chappies....

My hicas light is coming on sometimes, checked the fluid level and it's low.. so.. what goes in there then ? is it steering fluid or brake fluid or what ? To complicate matters I switched to DOT5 for the brakes a few years ago, so if it's brake fluid I'll have to get some DOT3. Just want to make sure I top it up with the right stuff... stu

Right I see my dog (MCZX) has not been behaving yesterday whilst I was working!! Rest assured he will be punished tonight. And he thinks its his ZX but who pays for it eh!!! My HICAS lamp comes on after about 15mins and only when driving around motorway speeds..when on it will stay on until i finished the journey. Jap 92 TT Auto.. Any ideas Cheerz

Oh by the way, lowering springs are available. There brand new boxed and are for the TT. Drop of about 35-40mm. Can also b used with the standard shocks. £120 ono.

wanted water radiator for my 1991 manual twin turbo jap import. can anyone help.

Heres a problem i have been putting up with for weeks now. I should really get it sorted. After starting the car the power steering usually goes off after a few minuits then a few minuits later the hicas light usually comes on. If I turn off the ignition and restart everythings fine again for a little while then it goes again. The speedo is working fine so It cant be the speedo sensor thats bucked. any suggestions? Paul

Opinions please guys. Although my car passed its MOT today, there were a few points noted..... 1) Front top link bushes are buggered (passable with a warning). I'm thinking of going for adjustable rods and was wondering what other people have fitted, have looked at fitting etc etc etc. Have looked at the Stillen bars but would rather have a rose jointed style if it is available..... 2) The hicas end rods are going at the hub. Are there any uprated versions out there or am I stuck with the nissan versions??? I still want to keep the HICAS so don't even go there 3) Sills are rotten (I think this is SRRAE's territory) and need replacing - thoughts on…
