15 FACTS (YOU WISH) YOU DIDN'T KNOW 1. Every year, parks in London alone are doused in one million gallons of dog urine. 2. The germs present in human faeces can pass through up to ten layers of toilet paper. 3. The best (?) recorded distance for projectile vomiting is 27 feet. 4. Contrary to popular belief, if you swallow chewing gum it does not stay in the gut. Usually it will pass through the system and is excreted without incident. However, several cases have been reported where the gum has stuck in the rectum, causing the unfortunate sufferer to excrete long sticky trails of gum, like a pink spider's web. 5. Several well-documente…

While I've been driving slowly because of the shitty weather I can hear more noises from the car than usual, the noise that worries me is when I engage the clutch and the pulll away slowly I hear a dull THUD from sort of behind me like something is engaging, is that normal, is that just the clutch, I never heard it before but then I usually have the music on to high. Sound s like somebody hitting the rear axle?? wierd. no2. I still have a metalic squeak from o/f/front wheel, I've had the brake stripped down and cleaned, but the noise is still there, could this be the wheel bearing on the way out?? Cheers JOHN

I'm sure the Zs are especially desisgned to keep you on your toes. This morning on the way to work, was just slowing to a stop in a row of traffic on a bit of a downhill when without any warning and in a quite sneekely fashion, my Z cut out on me. I only noticed when the dashboard turned in to the the Blackpool illuminations and the brake pedal turned in to a lead brick. Straight away I envisaged "£" signs but I started her back up and she was ok again. Whats all that about? Pheewwwww!

Hi guys, Please excuse me if there is any misspelling in this post, cause it's my birthday and I'm drunk . Anyway, because I was drunk tonight, two of my friends drove my car (one to drive me in to town and another to drive me back out.) And both said the same thing..that the Z is very sluggish and not even remotely close to its usual performance levels. Both of them said that their cars were more responsive and quicker (and one of them drives a peugot 306!) I have had the CAS timing checked, and it reads 15. BTC, the fuel filter has been replaced, and I have reset the ECU, but all to no avail. Please guys can you help me out, I really am at my wits end. …

Hi guys Thanks for all your help & advice today. Sure I'll be taking the offers up along the way! Resigned to the insurance, nothing I can do, so I'll just look forward to picking it up at the weekend and enjoy the drive down from Scotland - good tester. Andy, I think for peace of mind I need the full monty, cam belt, filters, watwer pump, oil change and locate this damn oil leak. If its expensive I will be crying out for help, the insurance premium has eaten into our maintenance allowance! Hiteq suggested - sound okay to you? Your right Andy I am not far away at all - arent I the lucky one!!! Looked at you events pics, looks fun, whats the …

Or maybe not so sweet. I know that this has been talked about before but frankly I can't be arse to search for the old threads seeing as we are producing atleast a whole screen of up to date threads per day. However......I have become concious of the car vibrating when I near speeds of 70 and above. My initial thoughts were that it could be the centre prop bearing but Jeff TT tells me that it could be the gearbox mounting bush(I think thats what he said - sorry memory like a siv' sorry Jeff). I will be doing a test tomorrow to see if the vibration remains with a slip it in to neutral. Has anyone else had these symptoms and if so, how did you resol…
