Well I got my car back yesterday from them and can't begin to explain the grin on my face when I saw the job they had done. For anyone who is looking to get any bodywork done on their beloved Z's, make the effort and get it up to Luke/Frank, they are top blokes who know their stuff. It was a 6 hour round trip for me which meant 12 lovely hours of motorway traffic, but I have no regrets. I basically copied Simon H's (top bloke) car and wanted the wide arch side skirts, withought having the wide arches. Luke and Frank had not done this before but looked at pictures of Simon's car and said "we'll give that a go", so in my Z went. The other problem I had was my …

Do any of you guys Auto cross. Cuz you talk about power like it is everything. I live in Michigan so i am not fimilular with what is popular on the other side of the ocean. It is mostly about the "feel" of the car. Can you feel the approaching limits and how hard the driver thinks the car can handle to be pushed. I here about "yeah i pulled up to a red light next to a 1000hp porsche and i smoked his butt" what talent it must take to drive in a straight line. Almost as much as it does to make most of your lies.

Here I sit Broken hearted Was driving my Z Then it farted Clouds of steam All around Now I sit Broken down I topped up the radiator at the weekend and this morning noticed the drivers footwell was damp. Not sure if it was the targa tops leaking or something to do with the heater system I drove to work. All was fine. On the way home the heater seemed to be misting up the windows all the time so I suspected something may have been leaking. I kept an eye on the temperature guage but it seemed fine. Then after another 1/2 hour I hear a glugging, running water sort of sound from somewhere behind the passenger side of the dash. I noticed a change…

I was talking to my garage, and the subject of the Engine Oil Cooler came up. My thinking was that I could fit a 'larger' European one. Unfortunately I cannot quickly check, but apparently my model does not have one at all? Is anybody able to confirm? My TT is a 7.1994 manual 2-seater. Thanks, Geoff

I have a brand new boxed Sony Clie PEG-S300/E PDA for sale. I won it in a competition without even realising I entered it!! Having such a sheltered life I don't need an electronic organiser. It comes with everything, box, software, memory stick, cradle for PC sycronising, guarantee. It comes with the same O/S as the Palm Pilots. (but looks a lot prettier!!) In the Sony shop its up for £250, but as I'm nice, I only want £125 for it. I'll even pay postage!! Come on, someone must want it... Chris ps - Glen, fancy a deal with the talking thing and the Sony Clie for the Snooper?????

Seeing as Glen won't sell me my Z back I came up with a brainwave and decided to purchase a petrol RC Car!!!! The thing is in the shop they didn't have a 300ZX bodyshells - so I had to opt for a DTM Merc. Obviously this isn't good enough and want to get my hands on a Z. Any ideas where I can get one???? Cheers Chris

Hi Guys, I'm having a few problems with my beast at the moment. Handed it in to a garage just for some basic body work and now there a mechanical problems. Is there anyone in the South London region that could help me out? I have spoken to Johnny and GPS and he told me there were a few of the guys in the region. My car is in Balham at the moment and what i need to do is bring the ignition module from my car and stick it in one of yours. If the car starts, then i know its not the ignition module thats causing problems and if it doesn't, then i've got a bill on my head but at least i know what the problem is. Alternatively, someone could come to Balham …

OK, things may be getting out of hand with the whole Porsche drivers are wimps thing (depsite Porsche drivers actually BEING wimps) so rather than do the sensible thing of kissing and making up, I think we'll just blow the living crap out of each other with rockets Unreal Tournament game tonight. Team game. All invited (apart from porker). Will post details nearer the time. Will try to get this one going at about 8 - 8:30. Please change your screen names to match forum names - its more fun playing when you know who you are blowing up Cheers, Andy p.s. Well, it's funny now, but wasn't at the time with almost no fuel... If you have an alarm with "Anti-Hijack", like the Toad or Cliffard, just think about how fun it can be if it thinks you're the hi-jacker... little git... locked me out of the car with the engine running for an hour, until we managed to break in, (far to easy I have to say - now I'm thinking of more security again). If you have this feature consider carrying an extra key or get it turned off! When it goes wrong it really takes the biscuits... Jez.

I AM 18, and drive an 86' porsche 951. Before buying my car i was into 3rd gen rx7's. I get into the rivalry of the jap cars. (toyota/mazda/nissan). I test drove 4 rx7's and one 300zx. The z car was notable quicker than the rx. After lots of test driving and reading up I bought my 951 ($8,500). A year later, i would be able to compare my 951 or n/e 911 ive driven to a 300zx. The zx is more like a Z28 while the 951 is more nimble and responsive. The rx7 on the other hand was "porsche-like". But i was turned down to that idea after reading of the horrible "1993" issues "re'calls". With two grand invested in my car i run high twelve 1/4's and my best…

As Mr Timmy Turbos partner, I would like to make a constructive comment to everybody on this Forum. When he first started posting on here all I heard was how wonderful it was, technical talk and silly comments. Although it made me a 'Forum Widow' at weekends at least the banter was light hearted. All I hear at weekends now is the 'F' word in relation to how somebody has upset somebody else and people are disappearing off the forum. He even told me tonight someone was too scared to post on here anymore. What is the matter with you all? This site is supposed to be fun, and I'm sure you all appreciate his sense of humour, lighten up, you're making me a very frustrated and…
