I have a problem when it comes to lesser significant car manufacturers producing ideas and implementing them when they should be standard issue on the Mighty Z. Yes, I am talking about no other than the major facilitating, life easing, curse refraining, time saving, gimmick loving....oh alright, I'll tell you, Heated washers. There, I said. Yes, I am sad but I wouldn't be in here if I wasn't, just like the rest of you guys and gals. I WANT HEATED WASHERS(Stamping feet). Why did the XR4X4 have them and not Zs? Did Nissan think, "Piffle! Heated washers are for wuss'!?" Well I dont care, I want them. They are a great tool to have in this time of…

Hi ya Bob, Just a quick question mate. I have seen the pics of a subwoofer installation you did with custom boxes. I've got an Alpine SWR-1040 (10") sub that requires a box between 17L~33L of volume (closed enclosure). The boxes you've done, what volume are they and can they be adjusted to what I require? Also, as I'm interested in building the box myself, would you consider sharing the "blueprint" of your design? Let me know mate. L8R, Danny

Ok guys, seems that there are a fair few of you that wanted some prices on servicing etc so have spent most of the evening putting some thing together,I have put it on a spare page on my own web site(link below) I will add more to it,and as any offers are available will let you know. I am going to place an order with Nissan (poss in the US) for 20 service kits so as to build my stock up.Finally I have not added any mark up on the parts prices (most using my trade accounts)just a fair labour price. If there is any thing particular you want let me know, also any feed back is useful so good or bad let me know. Enthusiastically yours Jeff TT www.deerpark72.freeserve.…

I have just installed my TC and also I took my batery off when I did it so the ECU is reset. The Idle has been going up and down all day, between 500 and 750, going up then down up and down at lights because of the ECU reset. But normal speed in 3rd, foot close to the floor get to about 2000 rmp and the car starts mis firing. Is that the RC cos, I wasnt spinning. Could it be my dodge soldering on the ASB? Any suggestions? Stuart

C'mon guyZ, this is getting way way out of hand Only a month ago this place was a fun, friendly place to be. There are now very few posts with anything slightly amuzing and even the tech turns into a slanging match I know I've slated a lot of people but this is all in jest and I know the people I am slating. What is happening at the moment is like a severe bout of PMT!!! Lighten up everyone or this place aint gonna be around much longer. People need to lighten up and not take things personally. On the other side of the scale don't go too far when 'having a laugh' If a thread isn't to your liking you don't have to read it and you certainly don't have …

Tried it today on a straight piece of read while I was picking up my new dash. For the first time in ages my belly went under the acceleration. Hearing the exhaust pop and the car rock adds to the experience too. Stuart

Anyone know where I can get a sub 100 quid DIN size graphic/DSP type jobbie ? Its for the saab, not the 300 (already got a natty black panel sony in there). The thing has 3 DIN slots, and with the alpine head unit in, that leave 2 spare. I want to at least fill one up with some useless techie gadget with flashing lights. Longmill used to do one for about 70 quid, but they are out of business now. All I can find is a kenwood graphic/DSP for 170 quid. Which is a bit much for some leds... stu p.s. if anyone is interested, I've just lowered the Saab 35mm, and it's getting 17" slippers next week. hehehe.
