is it a legal reqt to have reversing lights? Anyone know? cheers.

I have just installed my TC and also I took my batery off when I did it so the ECU is reset. The Idle has been going up and down all day, between 500 and 750, going up then down up and down at lights because of the ECU reset. But normal speed in 3rd, foot close to the floor get to about 2000 rmp and the car starts mis firing. Is that the RC cos, I wasnt spinning. Could it be my dodge soldering on the ASB? Any suggestions? Tried it today on a straight piece of read while I was picking up my new dash. For the first time in ages my belly went under the acceleration. Hearing the exhaust pop and the car rock adds to the experience too. Stuart

Anyone know where I can get a sub 100 quid DIN size graphic/DSP type jobbie ? Its for the saab, not the 300 (already got a natty black panel sony in there). The thing has 3 DIN slots, and with the alpine head unit in, that leave 2 spare. I want to at least fill one up with some useless techie gadget with flashing lights. Longmill used to do one for about 70 quid, but they are out of business now. All I can find is a kenwood graphic/DSP for 170 quid. Which is a bit much for some leds... stu p.s. if anyone is interested, I've just lowered the Saab 35mm, and it's getting 17" slippers next week. hehehe.

I wondered if i could have you opinions on tyre's. I am in the unfortunate position of having to replace all the tyres on my BM, and because I'm that way inclined have decided to change the wheels at the same time...long story. I have had some wheels and tyre's priced up and it seems like quite a good deal...the only reservation is the tyres, they're kumho's, and i've never had them before. Someone I know does NOT recommend them - saying that they adversley affected the handling on his car, however I have only read good things about them (particuarly from a price/performance point). Anyone have any experience/advice?

The Tailgate (Boot lid) on my Zed is well rotted just below the spoiler, an excuse to fit a larger spoiler I think! The question is. does a new Skin, e.g. a spoiler ordered from the z-center include the complete tailgate, or is it, as the name implies, just a cover for the original tailgate i.e. I have to replace the boot lid first ? FUCK ME! These cars are powerful, when you've been driving around in a n/a Captain Kirk for months on end and then jump back into a Twin Tub it can be bad for your health!!! I still haven't had my foot right to the floor since getting the car back it just feels like it's gonna take off into orbit. Could it be to do with having that extra cylinder firing? I think so! .....putting power steering on a D reg Sierra. The grandfather has hit a bit of a downwards slope over the past 3 months and is not as strong as he once was. He says that he now struggles to turn the wheel and to be fair to him, I have tried to turn the wheel on his Ford and although its easy for me, I can see how he would have difficulty. He has asked me if it would be easy to get power steering put on it and I was wondering if you guys new if it was as easy as just changing the rack, sticking the piping in and attaching the motor courtesy of a belt.

is my Z getting slower? I hate it when this happens. I know its human nature to want more but for F*cks sake. I have nearly 300BHP and I'm still not happy. Is/has everyone gone through this or is it just me. I remember when I went to test drive the bugger, I shit myself thinking that I wasn't going to have enough strength to hold on to the wheel. NOW, I'm fish-tailing with one hand whilst check the totty out. No offence ladies. Is there a cure or am I just a greedy b*stard?

Okay - I f**ked up. Caught by a GATSO, I am the only named driver so I can't get out of it. I was coming off the 5 ways r/about in Birmingham, it's a dual carriageway, no pedestrian walkways or anything (I don't speed in built up areas). Got any ideas what I'll get - closest wins a bumper sticker!

I dont want to start a new topic about it but I will find out really soon which one is faster and better. I own an AUTO and I am buying a MANUAL as well. Both stock I will put them to the test. As for the 0.60 times for the AUTO some guy said 7/8 sec... Did you forgot to release the handle break when you did that time? No need to answer that

See, I knew you'd just have to read this. Seriously though, I'm looking at installing my T/C in the next few days, I would like to fit the 6-way switch to the left of the steering column next to the warning lights. What I don't like is the 70s style switch, looks like its from a radiogram! Does anyone know how to spec the switch, I'm trauling through the Maplin web site, if anyone could help I'd be grateful, I'm looking for a switch more 'in keeping' radiused corners and perhaps a tad smaller.
