I know that a lot has been written about this but I didn't really pay too much attention as it hadn't effected me, up until now that is. In the mornings, and only in the mornings, my '90 TT has started to hesitate badly, revs dropping from 1750 down to 500 on several occasions, it doesn't last long and quickly clears, there's also a strong smell of fuel that seems to be coming from the fuel filter area. I'm off to clean out the throttle bodies now, is there anything else I should be looking for or doing? Thanks, any comments/suggestions appreciated. Tim

guys sorry for being completely amazingly randomly off topic but hopefully I've helped some of you out with your cars so hopefully favour returns. After being woed with tales from Italy I've decided I want to go there in September next year, and one better than that on the 15th of september I turn a quarter of a century old (and you say good how ?) the good I can see is that my ass will be firmly in the drivers seat of a 348/355 droptop if funds and evertyhing else permits for a whole day. Now I have no quams with paying upwards of 1000GBP a day to hire a Ferrari and drive round the hills of northern italy. I couldn't afford to do it for more than a day... beca…

Have posted this question in tech section aswell so sorry for posting it twice guys!!! After cleaning some of my sensors up yesterday I noticed something on my TPS sensor. On the plug that connects onto the sensor it seems to have the metal piece on the bottom one missing. There is three metal connections on the sensor itself. Is this right or is the plug connector broken???. Help!!!!! Cheerz Simon H

Hi to all, I've just purchased a na 300zx 1992 jap import. I'm really pleased with it and it goes well without the blowers. Would anyone know where to get a manual, or any information on servicing etc. etc. Do i cambelt it or do anything else. I'm a bit of a worrier really so as to ease my peace of mind i would be gratefull of any info on how to look after my new pride and joy. When i turn on the ignition a wierd arial type thing pops up from the front bumper with a green led on it, any ideas? Thanks to all and look forward to your replies.

Theres a definate wiring fault with the lights. I suspect the front sidelights, but is there any check sequences etc that allows you to pinpoint the problem, because the 'lights' light on the dash is annoying. cheers in advance. Mark. ------------------ If it aint broken....dont fix it

Still the loud sound (like hitting hard metal/wood) exist at the same place. The problem its in the middle cylinder at the passenger site. When remove the coil connector the sound dissappears. After swapping the coils the sound was still there. I remove the coil connector of the middle connector again (even after swapping) and the loud dissappears which means that its not the coil. I have also found the spark plug of the middle coil loose which made me think that this is the problem. But after fixing it the ticking sound was still there. I am soo down.

Saw these on ebay. Not everyone’s cup of tea I know but I quite fancy them, much cheaper than replacement white gauges as well. Problem is I have a UK spec car, the speedo only goes up to 160. Would the speedo still read accurately up to 160 or would the gauge need recalibrating? Steve r
