Theres a definate wiring fault with the lights. I suspect the front sidelights, but is there any check sequences etc that allows you to pinpoint the problem, because the 'lights' light on the dash is annoying. cheers in advance. Mark. ------------------ If it aint broken....dont fix it

Still the loud sound (like hitting hard metal/wood) exist at the same place. The problem its in the middle cylinder at the passenger site. When remove the coil connector the sound dissappears. After swapping the coils the sound was still there. I remove the coil connector of the middle connector again (even after swapping) and the loud dissappears which means that its not the coil. I have also found the spark plug of the middle coil loose which made me think that this is the problem. But after fixing it the ticking sound was still there. I am soo down.

Saw these on ebay. Not everyone’s cup of tea I know but I quite fancy them, much cheaper than replacement white gauges as well. Problem is I have a UK spec car, the speedo only goes up to 160. Would the speedo still read accurately up to 160 or would the gauge need recalibrating? Steve r

Thinking of getting a CD writer for my PC. Firstly, which is better internal or external? thinking of getting external cause its more portable. My PC seems to have 2 different type USB plus in the back, should I get a CD writer with USB or some other connection, also what sort of Read/write spend is up with current techology. Do I need to remove my current CDRom drive to fit a CD writer? if so can I still copy CD's?

Similar to a post earlier, When my car is in Power mode, it works fine, if I put my foot down when power is off, I hear the click of the pedal but no light comes on. I just turned the ignition on before to get the lights going (Not the engie on) and pressed the pedal fully, a click, but no light, should there be a light at this point? Also, sometimes when I put the car in gear (Autobox obviously) I hear a short squeal, kinda like air being forces out of the neck of a balloon. Doesnt happen all the time, any ideas? its a rebuilt, shift kitted auto. Also, a couple of little things have literally fallen out of the button part of my t-tops. They look like a little disc…

When I remove and then replace the power steering reservoir and lines from the PS pump I will need to refill & bleed the PS system again which looks pretty simple( turning the wheels and filling with oil) > But will I have to bleed the Hicas system as well? Mine's a 1990 and I think the 2 systems are connected? Anyone know? cheerz.

Just been changing a sidelight bulb in the fog light housing, and Ive shorted the live to the chassis. its knocked all the sidelights out, and the dash illumination. Ive checked all the fuses in the fusebox in the right handside of the engine bay, and theyre all ok. headlights work fine and indicators etc. Is there another fusebox? What have I done!?

when I remove the middle coil cover which is at the passenger side the TIC noise from the engine stops. When i put it back the noise comes back. Does this mean that the piston (or generally) the engine is fucked? I own the car only for 2 days

Im after the seqence used to fault find the hicas etc on the car. Ive seen the skyline version that my dad used with his old car, but cant seem to find the 'Z' version. Your help is appreciated. p.s. The Hicas light is permanently on. I personnally think its the steering wheel out of alignment, but what are the other common faults. Is it because the car is lowered so much, or would this no affect the geometry for the hicas?
