After cleaning some of my sensors up yesterday I noticed something on my TPS sensor. On the plug that connects onto the sensor it seems to have the metal piece on the bottom one missing. There is three metal connections on the sensor itself. Is this right or is the plug connector broken???.

This is perfectly normal.

 

There are 2 switches inside the TPS:

- Idle switch

- WOT switch

 

WOT-switch is not used, hence the empty connector terminal.
