As I was just driving back to work, each time my Z was struck by a strong side wind the revs dropped, do you think strong side winds could affect a stock air box, in the same way you cant breathe properly in a strong head wind? Or was my PTU just picking a good time to flake out Trev

Right now I have your attention. I hav ethe sizes for the Greedy Items, one of the web pages I visited today gave them away:- 200mm x 259mm x 65mm. I guess all we need is a picture showing IN and OUT for the gases, and we should be able to get FORGE to make some up. Anyone got photos??? Leigh.

While risking being accused of being a miserable / critical old git, can I please make a plea. If you are responding to a question someone has asked (Z technical or otherwise), it is only fair to make it clear how you came up with the knowledge which led to your answer. Hi all, I pressed the driver side window button on the Z the other day and I heard a snap!!!! Now my window won't go down unless I push it but the motor works and pushes the window up again, anybody got any ideas how to fix and rough guestimates of how much to fix? Anybody know what this part actually does, it's listed in the engine mechanical section of the cd manual it sits behind the rear gearbox mount (maunal only). I wondered whether this could be faulty causing car to jerk on and off the gas ( feels like the engine/gearbox are loosely connected, or maybe it could be the shifter bushing under the console??? Anybody have any ideas, cheerzzzz....

are jap zx standard wheels the same as standard uk ones are they interchangeable i have seen people selling uk and jap what should i do

Just some info I thought you guys might be interested in. Noticed on my service history booklet on Tuesday that my car has been re-registered at some point. Reg differs from the at new reg. I also wanted to try and confirm that the car hasn't been clocked. I have some old HPI reports in the history which don't raise alarm but I know how slippery the traders can be at recreating documentation or removing receipts etc. from a cars history. Goddamit Just decided to check air filter elements on '90 Z32 and managed to disassemble airbox and remove airflow meter. Removed filter elements and decided it would be a good idea to run the car with just the airflow meter box reattached. Seemed ok, albeit a little rough at tickover, so thought i'd replace the old filters until i obtain a new set (or cone). Fitted filters and reassembled filterbox/airflow meter etc. Now the thing nearly stalls and will only rev to 2500rpm exactly, at which point the engine cuts (almost like a limiter). Ahhhhh. Any ideas as to what i've done wrong/broken...!!!!

Looking to retrim all the trim panels (not seats) in the Z myself (to save a bit of $$$), anyone know any leather wholesalers? Jay

Anyone know where I can get the round white clips that hold the interior panels on from? Taken off the door cards to replace the speaker, breaking half of them in the process Cheers Jay

Ideally need UK spec left hand door after bending mine (and several other panels) in a hedge . Spoke to Z Centre and they reckon I need a Series 2 door. Anyone got one? Red is ideal but any colour is fine. I have interior trim, mirror, etc. Cheers, James.

Hi! Just wondering if anyone knows a good supplier and installer for bodykits for the Zed? I live in Aylesbury, which is near to Oxford. I'm after the Stillen GTZ-R front end, Stillen headlamp panel and a fiberglass replacement for the rubber rear spoiler. I need it all prepped, painted, and installed, plus some small repairs done to the existing paintwork. I might even get the whole thing resprayed :-) Thanks in advance! John

Has anyone ordered pre-cut relacement keys from Nissan, using the number stamped on the key? If so are the keys the same as original i.e. with 300zx on them and how much were they. Thanks guyz Tim
