Any ideas or advice please, I know ive got big hands compared to the Japanese but please! Tried from top and from underneath, removed everything i can apart from the intake pipes to the turbo. Guys' Found out water pump gone. How much to replace water pump & all the other belts??.... Andy said.... Here's what I'd do - 60k maintanance. Replace the water pump, thermostat, cambelt, two rubber hoses, auxiliary belts etc etc depends how far you want to go really - that way you've covered yourself for the next 60k miles anyway After I found what I found on mine, considering the receipts I had for work that had (not) been done, I would do this anyway ........... Any idea how much I should pay at a garage for this?? Cheers Ken

This seems to be the topic of the week. It's not funny crashing your car (I know, I've done it), but here are a few pictures to remind you that there's always someone worse off than yourself.

This may help some people with vibration probs. I had a bad centre bearing (see ride section for all pics)and clicking front u/j. the cost of repair soon added up so i went looking for a 1 peice propshaft. I have found a local enginnering shop which made one up for me and having now fitted it vibration has gone. The new shaft uses the old front u/j which has been reamed out to a size of bearing more available (I asked for a rebuildable type with grease nipple) and the rear u/j which was okay ,these were then resleaved with new propshaft tube. The length of the shaft is exactly the same as when i removed it (did not break center u/j's). Machine shop had my propshaft for a…

Hi. I am reluctantly forced into selling my baby, F reg (1988? - old shape, certainly) non-turbo targa 300ZX. It's white, has 110000 miles on the clock, got all the paperwork for any work that's been done, has a wonderful engine and needs a bit of bodywork. If you think you can give her a deserving home, please email me with sensible offers at cjc@conroc00.fsnet.co.uk. Cheers, Chris. *sob*

...Timothy Turbo! You'll never believe this but... Stacked me Z on the way home tonight! Gutted! Mrs. Turbo is driving the Merc and we get to the A5, she comes flying past me so I take chase. I come to round-a-bout and negotiate it with caution whilst watching my Merc rear lights(Oh they look so sexy) fucking off in the distance! Anyway, get off the magic nice and slowly...wait until LuZipher is pointing in a straight line and then push the gas about half way down. Not alot happening at this point, road is more than saturated but then all hell breaks loose! Car hesitates while the blowers spin up, then off we go at warp speed in a split secon…

I have heard good and bad comments about Iridium spark plugs, but I have just ordered a set from my local factors for £10 each, which I think is a good price. The plugs are Denso IK20. The factors are Ajay Autoparts if anyone is interested. More info on the Denso site: http://208.134.241.232/spconstruction.htm Tim
