Hi guys, pretty new to ZX 'clubs'... I've had a 300ZX for about 18 months and it's starting to feel a bit 'slow'. Want to upgrade bits but I have no idea who to go to, or what budget to expect, etc. Car is UK stock TT, 93L, 40k miles, targa top, 2+2, 2 door. I'm expecting to look at brakes (already getting quite a bit of fade) and suspension, then engine intake & exhaust, then tuning (obviously not all at once!). Is there anything else I need to think about? Where do I start? Cheers, James.

As I live in Beirut(or south east london on the map) we tend to get loads of dumped motors lying around. Some little b*stards have jumped in a dumped C-reg Ford Fester and coasted it down my road(I live on a long hill) bounced off a couple of cars on the way down before crashing into my neighbours front garden wall missing my sleeping Z by about 4 ft! And all this is after the police were called at about midnight to move a stolen motor that was dumped in the middle of the junction at the bottom of my road! B*STARDS! Note to my insurers: I really live in a rural paradise next to a lovely babbling brook(the Thames)just up the road from the happy little elves(bu…

Im going Santa Pod in the summer. Dont know exactly when. Im taking the Z and my friend (ay3388) is taking his Lancia Delta. It nothing serious, just a laugh. He is gonna see if any of the Lancia Forum are going too. I was wondering if a few of us could go down the same day. Its in the midlands so it should be viable for most people. Stuart

Fucking Great! Loved the wmv, loved the 'gayboy music' (as Paul put it LMAO!), loved the Zeds - i just cranked up the volume and got most of the exhaust notes ! A great time had by all I'm sure - some top Zeds on show in the damp and moist British winter ! Top camera work there from our resident photographist Duff Peckinpah ! Andy mate what was the music you overdubbed on the wmv ? - Loved it ! Mucking Fajic ------------------ Glen :)

How did it all start? When? I was just noticing peoples registration dates. Eric in Jun 2000, Craig May 2000. So come on guys, they did something like this on TT.net a while back. Tell us a story...we're all sitting comfortably etc. How did you and Nick get together to form the whole thing? Was there any romance between you in the early days? LOL No seriously, some people keep bringing up "back in the Bravenet days when this was just a BBS..." etc. We're listening!

Right, so I've got the following mods on my car: JWT ECU Turbo Technics hybrid turbos HKS rear exhaust section Decatted centre pipes Blitz induction kit Boost adjustable via bleed valves under bonnet My question is, how much boost should I be running on this setup. And can I adjust this myself fairly easily. If so, how? Cheers Mike

Love that rear spoiler, rear lights and nice shiney zorst. How come the Yanks get their cars looking so nice? Must be the severe lack of arse weather I reckon. Not only that, but where do they get all this nice stuff from aswell? I got this off TT.net and the guy mentions C1 Veilside kit but that rear spoiler? Is that Veilside? HKS Hyper zorst by the way, nice but don't fit 2+2 UK spec from what I heard.

The problem is that when the car is warming up, it runs like S***! It has very little power & hesitates too. Also the tickover is rough. I know that the plugs, coils, wiring, air hoses, temperature sensor, fuel pump, pump voltage regulator, pressure regulator are all OK. The only other things I can think of are the air flow meter & the transistor module for the ignition. The problem is quite erratic & if I rev the nuts off the engine in frustration, it seems to sort itself out!! but only when warm! Has anyone had similar problems? If so, please please please help cos the car is seriously p****g me off now!
