MY T TOP IS LEAKING BOTH SIDES JUST AT THE TOP WERE THE DOOR PILLAR AND TOP MEET,ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO SEAL IT.ALSO THE LIGHTS ARE VERY POOR ON THIS 90 JAP IMPORT !!!!!!!!

I have a major leak on an air pipe & just wondering if anyone knows which pipes usually break or split? I've taken intercoolers out & checked pipes too & from engine but they're OK. Could be a pipe going from turbo to filter box though but I can't get to the bugger! I was overtaken by a Rover metro today, wasn't impressed with me Z at all!!!!

There is a god that goes by the name of Andy. Not content with amazing me with the standard of work to fix the power steering system, you pull a blinder and sort the idle/ boost gauge problem that's being naffing me off for ages. Would love to share with everyone how you managed to fix but no a clue - the work of a genius. To say you made my day is a gross understatement. If I can ever offer first hand recommendations on your work please let me know. Mark

Hello all, My Z is down on power and I was wondering if anyone could help. I have timed the car from 0-100mph using a stopwatch and it took 21seconds! (it's a 1992 UK T.T auto). I have checked the coil pack connectors, replaced the temperature sensor and run an ECU diagnostic which showed up an all clear. The car is idling and running fine other than that. Please someone help, I'm going off my nut! Thanks for any help, Brian

Hi I been trying to check the lamda sensors, first problem is I definately have no mode selector/pot on my ECU. I have the red LED and just a hole with no pot there, therefore how can I switch to the other side???? I managed to do the other side but I think it could be shot 'cos the check LED stays on for 14 - 15 secs then off four about 4 - 5 seconds while holding the revs at 2000rpm. According to previous posts it should flash five times in 10 seconds anybody no what the problem could be?? cheerzzz

Does anyone have any experience of upgrading their grey cloth seats and trim to leather? I see Z centre does custom set and so do AtozZ toys. Are these the same? What's the quality like? I seem to have a vacuum hose left over though... D'oh I dunno if anyone will spot it - but it's sticking up just to the right of the right hand side throttlebody (you can see the small silver spring clip) Actually here it is marked; According to the docs it should go to the underside of the TB, but I can't seem to see where Can anyone help? Hi guys, as a Z newbie but not to much of a bad hand with motors, i got home this morning just as my headlights and dash lights started to dim, then car started running real bad as i got on to my parking spot then conked out. After investigating i noticed when i put my meter over the batt terminals, i was not getting any charge from the alternator. car will jump fine and run for a little while then again die. so my conclusion is most proberly the bushies but the odd escort or cav wouldnt be a problem, i just about found the alternator on the Z. any body ?? oh by the way, its a Z31 1986. 07980800027 [This message has been edited by stuie.buckmins…

What is that headlamp panel? from what ive found out its a Stillen one. Where can you get them from, how much do they cost and what sort of damage u lookin at to have something like that painted? Hello All, Just had clutch rebuilt etc but need a master clutch cylinder.does the cylinder have to be z32 or can we use one from other makes of Nissan? Also what sort of price am i looking at for a new one from nissan. thanks Pete

Hi, both dipped head lights blew Friday evening, I noticed that the aircon display flickered when I went to Halfords for the new bulbs. A quick check on the US bulliten boards suggested overcharging, my multimeter showed 18.5V across the battery during idle!! So I guess I need a new alternator? or could it just be the voltage regulator? Have I missed something in the diagnosis?, Any recommendations where to buy the parts please? (I have only been a 300zx owner for a year - and the smile on my face has not dissapeared) ------------------ Simon

2 Japanese ARC after market, Japanese Domestic Market blow-off valves. Good condition. A few little marks. You can judge the condition with the photos. These are universal blow off valves. Just need to fit it to your pipe The pipe (flange) is designed for a Twin Turbo Z32 300ZX. The pipes (flanges) are 2" outside diameter on one end and 2 1/2" diameter on the other. Both valves and pipes are identical. Just unscrew and can be mounted to any pipe. Use them on your Twin Turbo or keep one for yourself and have a spare.
