A big thanks to Jeff at Zedworld - My car wasn't running right and also had a steering problem with the hicas. After a visit to Jeff he has sorted out a fair few things and has gone above and beyond . He even fixed my noisy cabin fan for free which I had learnt to live with. She is now fixed and is purring and sooo responsive :) and to think I had thoughts of selling her before the trip to Zedworld . So thanks to you Jeff and Lynda for the hospitality and fixing my car :)

Well after a lot of thinking over the past few months I have made the decision to return my Z to it's original state asap......... The full veilside kit is going...... (Stop grinning Si!).........lol As this is the anniversary of the Z and I want to keep mine for a long while.... I want it back to showroom condition...... so I will be fitting standard bumpers, smoothing off the bootlid (No spoilers) and removing side skirts.... I keep looking at FunkySi's clean example of a Z and realised mine now needs a full respray asap.... I have got older and now want a more standard clean look...... Even the colour is going to change..... Not sure what colour yet as the ori…

Has been pretty uneventful really. its one of the best zeds ive ever owned in all honesty. and yesterday i took her for a MOT on a day that seemed nothing was going to go right and she passed. And only a few advisories this time, although last time she went through fine. just silly little things that i should of sorted before she went really. but on wards for another year of zedage.

Well, it's February, so the homeward slog toward spring and summer is upon us. Just March to do and then I'll tax my Z again for the beginning of April, so not long! The weather this year especially has made me glad my Z is in storage for the winter. Just awful. But it's also making me miss it as I do push it out of the garage from time to time to either work on it or give it a wipe down and I haven't even been able to do that as it's always been wet/raining! Even if it's cold, at least I can push it outside to tinker with. Anyone else counting the days? I do hope this miserable weather pattern breaks!

Hi all, Thanks to my super-human strength I've managed to rip off my bonnet release lever :( It snapped in half last summer but was still useable but today the other half of the plastic lever pull snapped off :( I'm pretty sure the cable itself is ok, just the handle which is fubared. Is there a way I can work round this and open the bonnet another way? I've no pressing urgency to open the hood but it would be nice to have that facility if I wanted it lol. Thanks! :) S.

Nice story behind this! It looks to be in fabulous unmolested condition. No nasty bodykits or anything. Sure, it's an auto, but if I was on the hunt for another, I'd be sure to take a look at this at that price! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/A-Formidable-Z32-Nissan-300ZX-Twin-Turbo-with-Full-History-and-an-Amazing-Tale-/281256996622?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item417c392f0e

Hey peeps, Been a while that my aerial has remained stuck open. I can hear the motor grinding when I turn on/off the headunit but no movement on the aerial itself. Not looking to use the radio in the Z anyway so am looking to disconnect its wires. Is it possible to somehow press the aerial back down??

Hi all, need a bit of advice on bulb fitment please. My car has the 4 pot Lamborghini rear light conversion so it's a bit more difficult for me to get to the rear bulbs without removing panels. I'm looking to get some nice bright led light bulbs, but not sure if I need one or two sets? Is it just one bulb that lights up brighter when the break is applied or they separate? I know the fitment is size 380 (p21/5w) Anyone help me out this please??? Thanks

Guy's I desperately need to power up some tools and lighting in my garage and can lay my hands on a 3.3kw generator for £50, question is will this be sufficient to also power a small mig welder and a small compressor, obviously not all at the same time? I've looked on the net and some say yes and others no; hopefully someone will know more than me about generator, it's not hard, I know fook all!! Any advice appreciated, especially of those that are using a portable generator. Cheers.

As most of you know, I discovered that the exhaust on my Slicky was scrap and help together with a combination of cardboard and heat tape. This week I was about to bite the bullet and order a Labree system from the US, but a SWB popped up in eBay and I managed to give the breakers a call 5 minutes after their add went live. Andy at "Just Nissan" was a pleasure to deal with and within 2 hours the exhaust was off, parcelled, and on it's way. All for the grand total of £140. Bargain. Not sure when I'll get chance to get it on the car, so no idea what it sounds like yet. But anything is better than what I had. Here's some pics of the mid section, ba…

As my car approaches 70 000 miles (and I've started driving it again in the wheelspinny wet) I think it is time to treat my diff. I have changed the gearbox oil to mt90 and the engine oil is changed all the time. But as far as I know it's 24 year old diff oil. Is it similar to doing the gearbox oil (not too hard) shoud it increase the limited slip effect and is there anything more to it than that? Could someone point me to the good stuff on opie oils? Thanks guys.
