OK, so heres the story.............. Que harp noise and wavey effect! About this time last week myzed started to leek oil-BIGTIME!!!! At first i thought it maybe tranny fluid (no sexchange jokes please!) but then realised it was engine oil. It was coming from pretty much central of the car towards the front. Popped the car into a local garage who i must say have always been very good and then was informed than my rear main bearing seal was leaking. Ok ok..........hhmmmmmm let me think, gearbox and exhaust off maybe- sigh!!! yes i think so! A tenner for the seal and a couple of hundred quids worth of labour later and much swearing from the poor bugger working on …

Those of you that have fitted carbon fibre/ aluminium/ wood trim dash kits in your Z's - what did you do about the pieces that fit around the elec window switches on either door. I assume you bought a kit from the US and so their LHD versions won't fit the RHD we all got. Or am I missing a trick?? It looks like the rest of the bits are same for LHD and RHD?

Hey all i know this is a common problem on the Z but has anyone figured a way or know of a way to stop the brakes overheating so much without spending the £1000000000 pounds on the bigger discs and calipers? mine has got uprated black diamond discs and uprated pads. i have changed the brake fluid and i think its got dot 5.1 running throught the brake lines. any other suggestions? the only way i thought was maybe to change the front nose cone for one that allows more air through. Hot or cold sometimes the car stumbles at around 200 rpm when I start it then dies. Touching the pedal has no effect. Can take 4 or 5 attempts before it will rev properly to pull away. I have cleamed the 2 coolant sensors on the front of the engine and the TPS but no joy. The coolant sensor must be ok because when I pull the plug off the engine speeds up and the electric fan kicks in. Paul

I want to have a front facia installed and painted. Also a few small things like repainting the windshield wipers. Additionally I might have the wheels refinished. If anyone has a wings west or similar front facia they would like to sell I am interested. I would prefer a location within an hour of the M25. Please give me some suggestions. I do not want the best paint in the country, I would prefer nice paint for a good price.

I have recently acquired a sorry looking 300zx and have limited time to make a decision about what to do with it. I have posted a notice about it on the for sale board but I am also considering bringing it back to it's former glory. The problem is that I am currently working in Australia and can not undertake such a project myself. Does anyone know someone who does this kind of thing so that I could return in a years time to a beautifully restored Z.

I need a dust/water cover that goes on the back of the main beem headlight as my dear old dad ripped my last one in to two parts! curently one and a half month wait for one from japan!!!(arse)

The z lights in the dark are crap everyone else looks to hav brightter lights? I've already cleaned the round lights, Q has anyone put more lights on, in particular right at the bottom were the plastic raps round and splits into two little edges, if so could u tell me what kind of lights to get? i am about to take the path of boost upgrade but need some tec advise, and i dont wanna start a war (lol) my car is uk spec 92 on a k if i us bleed valve's ,apart from the bleed valve's ahat am i going to need parts wise ??(apart from the obvius((bost gauge))?). i dont wanna go down the parth of boost controller yet as funds don't permit! but i am willing to consider an ecu upgrade ,but if i do that what parts would be needed there?? i suppose you can see what i am getting at ( i hope)lol would appricate all tip's and advise good or bad thanks Philly:::
