I have recently acquired a rather tatty 1989 300zx that I am looking to dispose. I believe that it is fairly sound mechanically but is in need of some cosmetic work. I am leaving the country in 2 weeks time and need to get rid of it by then. If you are interested please act quickly or you may miss the opportunity.

Sorry folks, but that comment I saw somewhere in some thread on here (yeah, I know - precise...) about a 'connonball run' style charity fund-raiser has got me thinking. People who know me agree that getting me thinking about something is usually a bad idea (results in lots of time, expense, etc.) but I think the Run is a truly excellent idea. Unfortunately I have no idea who the people who atarted the thread last time were so if I'm nicking you're idea, apologies . However, as nobody followed it up (not starting an arguements here; I believe there were enough of them last time!) I'm offering to organise it. Properly. Chasing sponsorship and everything. I've worked …

Hi Jeff - not wanting to upset anyone here but... everyone else here seems to be offering free advice, yet all you do is mail the people directly. my guess is that you are mailing them your services and maybe quoting for the work. hardly in the spirit of the forum is it ? Like I say not wanting to upset but... You know what I mean CheerZ, Andy

I have an APEXi box mounted in the drivers foot area and it says "PWM 9512-7758 power meter". The box is dark grey in colour and approx. (6x4) inches big and about 0.5 inches wide. It has a 'telephone' style connector one end and a latched connector the other end. There is also a small DIP switch with the title 'car type' and a pre-set potentiometer that says +/- 30% by it. Does anyone know what this thing is??. I have been in contact with Apexi themselves, they keep telling me there is no-one who can help @ the moment etc. etc. so i am getting the impression they dont give a s***!, seeing that the last contact they made with me was B4 christmas. A dumb question maybe, …

Does any body have a technical drawing of a manual gearbox. It needs to be the same as what you see in Haynes Manuals, I.E. shafts, bearings, seals & gears etc. I need this because my gearbox has just started making a whining noise in 1st, 2nd and not quite as noticibly in 3rd gear(s). Any body have this problem before?? Another question. Did the last Zeds ever get fitted with a 6 speed gearbox, or am I dreaming??? Many thanks in advance. RCD

Let's go to Llandudno(40 odd miles) for our tea from M&S babe!!! Yeahhhhhh!!! Twas raining like buggery when we set-off so let's take it easy then eh? Yep! Off a round-a-bout into Llandildo and I give it a bit of large! Arse end wheels feel like they are spinning so I lift off and re-apply a conservative amount instead. I'm bitching about the TC not working or is it? Anyway, finish off the shopping and washing the shite off the car e.g. straw, bailing twine etc. What garage? Oh you mean the hay store and general horse feed looking thing! LMFAO Get to the last set of traffic lights and 90 degree turn left. Which is past a garage where some …
