Hi Peeps, Just got my Z insured today with Greenlight Insurance in Brentwood. All mods declared, 5000 mile limit Comprehensive with protected no claims . . . £767. £230 quid cheaper than Adrien Flux, plus Greenlight seem to receive my documents unlike some other Insurance companies I have had dealings with. My car has come a long a bit here's a Piccy taken last Saturday, although I saw it tonight and it's nearly done. Keep on Zedding ------------------ crazyeddie.co.uk [This message has been edited by crazy_eddie (edited 27-02-2002).]

Hi, I am going hunting for a 300zx this weekend and was wondering what to look for to avoid buying a shagger. Is there any problems that are common with this car that can be checked before buying. I've also read that engine rebuild for these beasties are expensive but how common is it that they need it. Cheers for any help.

Anyone tell me please the internal diameter of the small vaccuum tubing that runs thru the Z engine bay. I want to buy some silicone replacement tubing. It looks about 5mm but I think there is different sizes. Internal fuel is 8mm right? Smithy, can u supply this stuff? cheerz

After my little incident last week, my car needs a new wing and bumper. It looks like i will be getting the work done through my insurance as i have protected no claims. I have been told i can use any garage and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Or does anyone work in a coachbuilders? It doesnt really matter where the location is. As well as the bumper and wing i would like to fit a wide arch kit and skirts and have the whole car resprayed at the same time. The insurance will obviously be paying for the wing and bumper but I would like to keep the cost to myself down for the rest of the car. Any help or suggestions appreciated. Cheers Baz

Does anyone know anything about spraying cars? What method is best to use to get the best finish? Obviously preparation is everything but I'm more concerned with the actual spraying. I'm going to have a crack at spraying the spoilers on my 200SX!

Hi fellas! I've got an ongoing debate with someone with regards to timing and what "advancing" and "retarding" actually means. Perhaps one of you can put this baby to bed ... When changing timing from e.g., 15 degrees BTDC to 13 degrees BTDC, are you "advancing" or "retarding" the timing? I have a "fairly" good idea what the answer is ( but I need backup ... safety in numbers etc. Many thanks! Danny

Anyone know where I can get a similar paint job to some modern TVRs (the pearlescent stuff that changes colour as you move round it)? Mine needs a re-spray anyway and we were talking about it at work...
