Just received this from our Switchboard. Subject: Fwd: IMPORTANT - All mobile phone users > Please see the information below outlining the latest 'mobile phone scam' > > > There is a brand new mobile phone scam going around that comes in the > form of an SMS. The message will say something along the lines of > "Please call me on 09011500065 Urgent". It will say it is from "KB". > > DO NOT call this number. It is a premium rate number charged > at £5 per minute. Also, when you call you will get an engaged tone; > this is not a real engaged tone, it is simply a recorded sound that will > make you call again…

I got so interested in JeffTT's upgrade I just spent an hour shivering outside, playing with the lights and poking around under the bonnet. Geez I hope none of my bulbs blow as I don't have a hope of changing them. Anyhow, my various proddings have sparked off a couple of q's which are vaguely tech so am posting them here. Mine is a 1989 Jap import. 1) Has anyone done a JeffTT upgrade to a silver ZX? Does it look OK, got any pics etc? 2) Do I have it right that Euro bulbs will not fit my high beam / dip beam unless I attach an extra lead? I am criminally technically incompetent (can only find the right end of a soldering iron after it gets good and hot…

Ordered a PTU from Courtesy at 1am on the 26th and it arrived 9am today, 28th! I was expecting to wait at least a week. Cost £156.00 including carriage and I got past customs without paying any tax. Nissan UK wanted £320.00 Well impressed. Just need to fit it and hope it cures my problems. Anybody want it if it doesn't fix things?

Have recently discovered a wierd 'problem' with my fuel gauge. When I run the car until the needle hits the bottom, (just before the low level light comes on) the trip meter and odometer stop working!!!! Every other instrument works, except these two. When you switch off the ignition, and start it up again, or fuel up, they start working again. Who else has this quirk?? I know how to keep the miles off me Z now though ROFL Regards RCD

As I was walking to my doctor's surgery in good ole Brum this morning I came across a bright red UK spec ZX (K...XMO) driven by A LADY! I would have flashed (me lights you pervs!) but seeing as how I wasn't actually in my Zed that would probably have landed me elsewhere rather than the doctors! Now we know Ajay isn't the only loony lady driver of a Zed! Danny

Hi guys, Has anyone got two PCV hoses for sale at a reasonable price ... I just missed out on Az's offer to AndyP (bugger it). The genuine Nissan part numbers are: 11826-30P01 (driver side) and 11826-30P11 (passenger side). They're on back order at Nelson so if anyone has these I'd like to take them off your hands ASAP! Please post your replies, e-mail me or call me (07044016586). Many Thanks, Danny

Wednesday February 27, 10:42 PM Police solve case of car wash penis HASTINGS, Nebraska (Reuters) - A lingering mystery involving what appeared to be a severed human penis found in a Nebraska car wash has been solved, police have said, with tests showing the organ was a cow's teat. "I've learned more about cow parts and human parts in the past two weeks than I cared to," said Police Chief Larry Thoren. Police launched a possible homicide investigation after the part was found near a vacuum cleaner at a car wash in Hastings on February 12. Local medical officials said they thought it resembled a human penis and it was sent off to a state crime laborat…

Nabbed from the GTOUK board who'd nabbed it form somewhere else... "The meet will be held at the Bolney stage pub in Bolney Village, Sussex. The date will be Saturday the 16th March 2002 (the pub requested it be held on a saturday this time....). The meet will start at 11.30am (as agreed with the pub), and will run until you all have had enough !! They will have a bar menu available, but are considering putting on a roast dinner .... which i'm sure some of you guys will be pleased to hear they'll remember to reserve the pub for us, he certainly made a note of the details in their diary (which he said is filling rather rapidly). Hi guys, I was considering to do in one go engine rebuild and tuning (more BHP!!!!) and upgraded turbos (and maybe gear box etc..) so I got in touch with a with spcialised tuners/garages to quotes etc... I was keen to go for Se-Nissan especially because they also have a body-shop and exterior parts like spoilers etc...
