Hi Guys, Sadly I have put my Z up for sale. It is a H reg with 72000 on the clock. (Well below Average) The car is mint as I have always parked it in my garage. All electrics work and the engine has been well maintained and runs clean as a whistle. It also has a Clifford CAT 1 Alarm for which I have a cetificate of authenticity. It is maron in colour with rear windows tinted black. (Good if you use your mobile a lot in your car). If anyone is interested I can email pictures of the car. I am not too familar with the car and am still learning about it. At the front of the car there is a tube in which you are meant to put in the coolant. Does this mean that I do not have to put coolant into the radiator with the water? What type of coolant/anti-freeze is the best?

My Z has an ECU remap and a boost upgrade to 1 bar for over a year,last week it started to have detonation at full boost,it does not do it all the time WTF? any ideas cheerZ MAC. ------------------

You may find this amusing as I normally drive my zed with absolute care and respect and don't like to punish it through aggressive driving but... ..and yes, I know some of you have probably done this when you 17 or something or some might say 'so what?', but it was a sh*t load of fun and I survived to tell it!?!. I took a friend of mine out yesterday afternoon (sunday) for a spin around the proverbial 'block' trying to convert him from BMW to a zed. Ok guys some quick help is needed on these 3 questions if you can: 1) Anybody got car seat covers for their Z? how did you deal with a) The knobs and electrics b) the front seats being able to fold foward? 2) Anybody painted their brake calipers? what sort of paint is best to use? and how many coats etc? 3) Anyone painted the inside trim of their Z? i.e the Centre trim, power window button trim etc? what sort of paint? do you clear coat it? will it look good, withstand heat, scratches etc? btw my Z is: 91 Auto 2+2 NA the seats are starting to wear (grey cloth) so wanna get them covered mid to cheap range covers. Hey guys after a lot of cussing and swearing and growing back of fingers ,etc, i finally got the engine stripped down in the bay and it is ready to pull out tomorrow. my good friend Afroman is lending me his engine hoist and it should be on the floor before long!!! Bits for it have been ordered (thanks johnny) . I've gone for all TOMI stuff: cam kit solid lifters uprated valve springs forged pistons bearings etc. should be one animal lump!! Don't know if anyone has seen this but some guys on TT net are having a GB on Nismo injectors. The prices are stunningly cheap (compared to the prices I've been quoted anyway). Any takers? And for the tech gurus: apparently the fuel rails on the Z changed in August 93. I'll obviously need to specify what type I need (and 740cc are only available on the post 93 fuel rail). Anyway, my question is: how can you tell whether I have the newer fuel rail? what a stupid place to put the electric seat buttons i keep knocking mine and they get stuck some times when i get out of the car. they get stuck on and drain my batterie. f**cking buttons.

I was re-united with my Z today! I wasn't prepared for the spectacle I saw; my first thoughts were- "wow, surely that isn't my car!" Pete (aka LEONARDO) has done an absolutely stunning job on my Z. I strongly urge anyone condsidering getting a kit fitted or having paintwork done, to get on to him, pronto! Changed the oil today! Not rocket science but getting that sodding filter off? Screwdriver as the Macca advised me came in handy! LOL I've got a proper chain wrench but you try getting that on the fucker! LMFAO Anyway, was gonna go to DaveW's car coming out of LEONARDOS today, got to Llandudno Tesco and washed me motor! Fuck me, oil all over the back end which a jet wash just wasn't gonna get off! Right, so come home, get the car up on axle foleys and I've got a thing(really don't know how to descibe this to you guys) below the turbo on passenger side with a pipe. Anyway, pipe has been fucking masking taped at some point(don't start about SE either) to hold …
