Hi Guys, Has anyone had the same problem as me with their rear reverse light cluster lens misting up with condensation?. I took the panel off yesterday but was unable to seperate the plastic from the perspex faceplate. After several attempts at trying to lever it off I decided it was better to wait & ask rather than Destroy-It-Yourself?!? Anyone ?? Cheers, Tony

This happens more when the roads are wet and less tread and over small bumps, is it just beacuse of the displacement of rubber on the tarmac? feels like shit cheers rob p.s. wish it had 4wd

As i've done all this work to Tony's & my car & this set has been earmarked allready! Does anybody else want a set? Its on an exchange basis...ie, I send you this, then you send back your old bits to be re-worked for the next person & so on. The filter is a new one by the way Cost is £130.00 which includes p&p to you only! Your return goods are your responsibility!!! AND a % of cost goes to the running requirments off this forum. If a referance is needed speak to Lack300. [This message has been edited by harve (edited 19-02-2002).] [This message has been edited by harve (edited 19-02-2002).]

I've seen this come up again and again. Mine had new front Nissan discx about 15k ago. Lately there's been a judder when check braking from high speed. Brake hard and it used to steady up. Then I did the tension rod bushes which were leaking. The judder definitely changed but it was still there at high speed. Eventually it got worse. Checked my discs again and found inner side on O/S had a rusty band on it. Figured bad pad contact - near worn out any way. So got new pads and a seal kit for calipers. Someone here said easy job - just pop the pistons with compressed air. I found on both calipers the 2 pistons on one side of each caliper had almost seized hence r…

Trying to get insurance at the mo. Rather expensive. it's all ok until i tell them what modifications i have. The exhaust, air filter and chip are bearable but when i say it has grooved discs they class it as a brake mod and dont want to know. Quotes from 725 - 2000. Tesco quoted first at 545, sounded good but thought i would shop around. Noone could even come close so phoned back to check details (bit too cheap), only to find they put it down as a uk spec with no mods. Went up to 1400! Crazy price. What is classed as an upgrade? Is it just things that make it more powerful or is it every little thing. Do i have to tell them it has a crack on the front valance or chip…

Ok that old goody is with us again but has any body ever noticed how, despite all the arguments for and against there is never a conclusive answer to the question of which is better Auto or Manual. So here is what I propose: Lets have a listing of the good points with Auto and Manual transmission. For every positive comment that type of box will score a point. When this post dries up let the box with the most points be declared the best all round transmission type. Remember, stick to the good points of your preferred transmission type, no slaging of the other and try not to repeat previously mentioned points by re-wording them as this will corrupt the final sc…

At last, my car is sorted. It idles perfectly at 800rpm & drives beautifully. The problem was half due to the air flow meter & dodgy wiring. I found that my air flow meter was full of crap & also the wires to the connector were half knackered! Also just want to say thanks to Andy Duff for finding one fault which if had been left undiscovered could have had me guessing for many months more cos there's nothing worse than multiple faults! I drove it today & it feels bloody ace!

I live in sweden and our only option when we want to order stuff from JWT (like a clutch) or the jspec 99 taillights is to order from either Ultimate Z or courtesyparts in the US. This works just fine, but shipping costs are not fun at all and we must pay swedish taxes (25%). Is there any equivalent to courtesyparts in the UK or som other part of te EU? regards David
