Thankyou Turbo Technics for finally shipping my breather kit! If you ain't got it yet I would highly recommend ringing a nice chap called Bill on 01604 705050 You won't get to actually converse with the guy but after a few attempts and being fobbed off by the receptionist, miraculously your long overdue rubber hose collection will be dropped from the beak of a stalk as it flies over your area!!! LOL

  11. I have finally made up my mind and am going for the above bumper. There are a few other guys also interested and I am just posting to see if anyone else wants in before the order goes ahead. The deal is: Bumper, side lights and standard fog lights (current jap spec ones will fit fine) for £548.50 inc vat. You may order without the fogs if you wish and you may order the new side skirts and rear spoiler too. Best thing to do is phone Mike at MJP on 01277 374201. This doesn't include the mesh but you be able to buy that locally far cheaper. If you want some pictures here is Warren's thread http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/ubbforum/Forum1/HTML/00458…

When I changed my spark plugs a few months back I took off the balance tube so I could get to the back ones. I seemed really dirty inside the part it goes onto. Is there any way you can easily clean the inside?. Also There was nothing sealing the two joins, no gasket or O ring!!. Would this mean a potential vacuum leak?. Does this effect performance a great deal if the balance tube has a leak?? any thoughts??? Cheerz Simon H

Hi fellas! Yep, I got down on one knee in the middle of the B'ham Botanical Gardens - completely took Fiona by surprise - asked if she would do me the greatest honour of becoming my wife, and with big tears in her eyes she accepted! Call me a hopeless romantic but I couldn't be any happier at the moment. (I could be but that would mean my Zed actually running propperly and cheaply ... yeah right!) Just needed to share this with my extended Zed family! Take care and be safe! Danny

No, no, no, not the f$%^king breather kits, the manual gearbox from Kash. I will be collecting from MJP damn soon. Which means that a) other peoples kit should be on the horizon too, and b) in the not too distant future one low mileage auto gearbox par excellence, complete with fast road rebuild and additional oil cooler will be up for sale. Form an orderly queue please ! I think Timmy Turbo and Dave Marley(?) have first dibs and I'd guess now that Tim has had his box fixed then Dave is at the head of the queue.

I've just become the owner of 1989 TT import. It goes great, the engine's a little bit rougher than I expected but it has done 80K miles. However i've just filled the tank again after using a full tank and I've calculated the MPG, after picking myself off the ground and checking my calculations again I got a figure of 12.5MPG. There's no obvious signs of a petrol leak although I did notice a petrol smell from the exhaust. My first guess is that i'ts running mega rich hence the engine roughness. Any ideas how to where to start anyone. P.S. I also checked the ECU and there are no error codes.
