Hi, I could blame the fact that my reverse light doesn't work very well and that there weren't any street lights but I won't. I reversed my Z into the wall outside my new house last night. I didn't hit it too hard but I've completely shattered the passenger side res reflector on the back/side bumper. Does anyone know where I can get one of these from? Are they easy to fit? Cheers, Andy

Chaps, I need your computer advice, as a friend is having trouble with his system. Last year he upgraded to Girlfriend 1.0 from Drinking Mates 4.2 which he'd used for years without trouble. However, apparently there are conflicts between these two systems, the only solution was to try and run Girlfriend with the sound turned off, but to make matters worse, Girlfriend 1.0 is incompatible with several other applications, such as; Lads Night Out 3.1, Golf 2 and Playboy 6.0. Successive versions of Girlfriend proved no better, Girlfriend 3.0 has many Bugs and left a virus in his system, forcing him to shut down completely for several weeks. Eventually he t…

Heads up..Saw the new Z in EVO magazine on the bookshelf available at most good newsagents. It looks a lot meaner than previous pictures. From the back its like a skyline with ATTITUDE!! Inside looks really wacky - not sure bout dat. Its radical from the front. Being a mean sod i didn't actually buy the mag of course...but its also got an article on the latest and last Skyline. Its worth a flip thru in your newsagents at least.

Not having experienced Cossie ownership - there is something that I would like to know. Would a 500BHP Z be faster/quicker than a 500BHP 4x4 Saph' Cossie? I know there are different things to consider like gear ratios and power curves but at what level of would a Z need to be upgraded to, to level the straight line performance of a 2.4 500BHP 4x4 Cossie running around 35PSI? Has anyone had experience with Cossies that can offer some comparison?

Ok this has probably been brought up before but I was reading through the 300zx FAQ and found this *** Were there any recalls on the 300zx? YES! There was one recall, on the power transistor unit. This part will sometimes just "die," preventing the car from running, or other times it will "limp home" but not run well. It is approximately a $250 fix, but Nissan can and will do it for free. If you've had it fixed and paid for it in the past, you can call Nissan and try to get reimbursed. Also, if you've just bought a used car, or don't know if the part has been replaced, you can call 1-800-Nissan-1 and ask one of the operators if your car has had the recall performed.…

Called my local Nissan Dealer Dunces today for a fuel filter. They needed the part number from my filter then the chassis and model numbers... They are e-mailing the details to Nissan HQ to find which one I need! Surely there are not loads of different filters? Anyone have a part number for a TT import so I can tell the idiots?

Hi folks, I finally have my Blitz Springs and Koni Shocks. All I need now is the new rubber bit to make the whole assembly gleaming new. Does anyone know of the stock part number or can you suggest a universal option which is cheaper or quicker. I seem to recall that someone used a universal steering rack boot instead. The old girl is now closer to getting back on the road. Simon P.

Can anybody identify this connector and tell me where it should go. It has a black/red and blue/white wire going into it. I have just had an engine re-build and think they may have left something off because it is very clean inside.

Hey, I'm having a very big arguement with someone and they say that a mate of theirs has a 300ZX that can do low 9's. I've never seen this before and wanted to know if it was possible and what sort of money would it take to get it to that level of performance. Please respond with any info possible ASAP.

Finally, after 6 months of the road I finally get my Z back this weekend. Had a slight altercation with a Pug 306 and a hedge last summer and couldn't afford to get it fixed (didn't want to claim). Been driving my fiancee's 1 point nothing Pug 103 since and BOY, am I looking forward to the 300. Will be Chester - Stoke - London Sunay afternoon so if you see a red TT Z being driven v. carefully (too right, after 6 mnths in a Pug) with slightly different colour panels down the left it's me.

Ever since I got behind the wheel of a car, I have always gone under my ole' mans insurance policy because insurance for a 20yr old driving a RS Turbo wasn't very pleasant. Now at 26 and a couple hundred horse power more, the insurance is a tolerable levels even whilst on the same policy. However, after speaking with JeffTT a few weeks back, he mentioned Firebond so I decided to give them a call today for a laugh. I was well shocked. Check this out:- I am 26, work as a Problem Manager for an IT company, ZERO no claims, no endorsements or accidents living out in the the Derbyshire sticks. Full Comp - 6K miles p/year limit - £100 stereo cover - lega…
