It's looking the dogs danglies if I do say so myself :D Will get some pics up later if I'm not too pissed ;) Only problem is it wouldn't start this afternoon for some reason. It's been fine every time we've tried it recently so I can only think it's a loose connection somewhere. It's turning over but won't fire. Didn't get time to check for a spark but it can't be anything too major. Many thanks to Peter at PPS for doing a superb job. I'm going to collect it this week when the boot trim has been put back and it's been MOT'd and valeted. Then it's over to the Grasshopper open day next sunday to show it off ;) Can't wait.

Hello, I'm considering getting a 2 seater Z32 manual and was wondering what increase in performance a grand (just the one to start please) could get me? I guess exhaust and mapabble chip? Not looking to do anything that would need changing if I was to go further with the tuning (so no gentle cams, then harsher cams later etc). Also can anyone recommend some decent bodykits please, particularly this one (whatever it is), what is it called please? Hard to tell but I don't think it's the WW one. Cheers Russ

Not really Zed related but i was in crash on Tuesday and Bucket seats and the four point harness saved my life!! http://www.oc4u.co.uk/cars/dead red shed.pps Its a Powerpoint presentation of the pics of the car!! Car was a Peugeot 205 GTI 1.9. Crashed on a straight road, brakes locked up, car spun, hit a tree, rolled 3 times and landed on the wheels!!! Dan

Driving along last night with the front screen misted up as usual (had to wipe with a cloth three times in 15 miles) and the temp was on freezing even though the temp was set to the top! When I joined the dual carriagway and hammered it upto about 85 the temperature raised again. When I slowed down it was cold again. On the return journey it was up and down all over the place. Any ideas Ivan:mad:

Changed my front pads on 300ZX TT the other day as when i had my front tyres changed i noticed the pads were looking seriously low. Not sure if this is right but when i removed the old pads, the brake discs started flopping about! Is there meant to be a grub screw or small bolt to secure the discs to the hub? There seems to be a small threaded hole ready to accept somtehing. It's just that i sometimes get a clunky noise from the front when i apply the brakes at slow speed. I suppose that once all the pads are back in and the wheel nuts are tightened up the discs aren't going anywhere, but most cars i've ever worked on have a little grub screw to stop any play. Any ideas fo…

I searched the forum about this but I am still in doubt. Every time I get under boost there is a long hooting sound( like a distant ship horn) which lasts sometimes 5 to 10 seconds and disappears when I release throttle. Performance is super otherwise. My IC's were changed last week for bigger items. I understand that the classic goose honk occurs in just the opposite circumstance,i.e when releasing the thottle. In my case my POP charger makes no noise at all. Your opinions , please. "Look no further, sir, you're leaking boost". Correct? rik TT now at 17 psi(max) completely decatted sigle POP mongoose ECU by kempower 375 h…

We'll a fvcking big oops!, the inevitable happened tonight. Was driving back home and lost the zed on a very slippery right hand bend, back end just 'snapped' with no warning and it spun around head on into a brick wall at about 25-30mph ARGHHHHH!!!. I actually found that the car took it extremely well, seat belt kept me locked right in also. Quite a bit of damage to the plastic bits up front, one smashed headlight and sidelight, both wings I think are crumpled. Just spent £200 on fixing the front bumper earlier this year, so one is not amused. Looks like I will be buying some second hand stuff off from here. Thats really pi55ed me off now because I'll have t…

Hey folks! After a long absence I have found my way back to this dark corner of the web! Glad to report I'm still enjoying my Zed albeit with a few more little dents and scratches due to some thieving scum! Insurance company won't pay for a complete respray so I'll have to save my pennies from this point forth - what else is new for us Zed owners ... Just thought I'd show my face again. Cheers all! Dan

One of those new Jag XJ6 turbo jobbies on the M23. And I was 4 up, and yes it is a fkin squeeze! He was good up till about 140-150ish but then the lesser machine had to admit defeat and let me by!! A little flash of acknowledgment from the Jag driver and it was all over. I do like it when other drivers flash or raise their hand rather than getting all aggro about it, I have endured both reactions and do not like reaching under my seat for...........
