'Aint Top Gear getting political? They slagged the government in just about every article (rightly so....have you used the M4 since that sodding bus lane? ) Not too much of any great interest for me this week, however I wasn't surprised that the school kids liked the Countach the best out of the 360, Zonda, Skyline and TVR. It may be nearly 30 years old and not so 'swoopy', but lets face it, it looks like something out of a sci-fi movie. Still the most WICKED looking car ever IMO. As for Driven......I used to like that program. The presenters are still OK (although Jason Plato is starting to be more of a prick at times) It's the bloody format that gets me …

I am 90% sure its is one of the brakes sticking. When the car is jacked up, when I spin the front drivers wheel, it will do about a turn and a half before stopping. When I spin the passenger wheel it stops within 1/4 of a turn, so its sticking. Is my passenger side sticking or is the drivers side not touching enough.? What can I do to fix it? Stuart

Ok i've got the car at last!!!!!!!!!!!!! It feels even more comfortable than my old 928s,sounds great with the fat exhausts,i may even keep them............ The only faults i can find are the rear de-mist not working but i'll check fuses if there are any,and an annoying squeak every time i go over a bump. The old TV in the car was in fact a Nissan navigation system,a shame as i'm not sure it will work here in the UK.If i can re-program it and make it work with my system i will keep it. There are a sh** load of wires in the centre consul that i'm not sure what apply to.I was looking for a +ve wired connected to the ignition but couldn't even find one.Wh…

So.. driving back from staffordshire last night, not a single jot of a problem with the zed.. plain sailing all the way.. all guages fine.. pulled onto drive.. literally put foot on brake slowing down on drive way.. came to a stop.. engine dies completely. Started it again... starts alright... heavy vibration from the engine bay.. wobbling a fair bit. So left it.. sleepless night worrying at size of bills to repair such a problem.... and what it might be.. started it this morning, bonnet up in daylight so can see what's going on.. no fluid leaks, timing belts all moving properly, nothing missing or visibly broken (shame that because they're the cheap bits)... but en…

Posted this on For Sale and Wanted, but not sure if the unsubscribed members can veiw it. A mate of mine went on holiday to japan recently and returned having bought a skyline, a pulsar, an impretza and a zed. Ive posted the zed on here to see if anyones interested, its a H plate TT in dark red (same colour JeffTT's used to be!) with an amazingly low 53,000kms on it, 12 months MOT, full leather, some Jap history, big wheels, big exhaust, 300kmh clocks, a blitz sbc (although it appears to be a very old one). He wants £5,000 for it which I think it's well worth, but if anyone wants to give me £4,500 for mine (bright red 1991 TT) i'll have it instead. Any…

Anyway its starting to become a little noisey. Is it easy to fix or do I need a new one,any sugestions grately received. Cheers, F.T. P.S. It's on the inside of the car!!

Having spent just about every free day for the last 3 months on my stubburn Z and its reluctance to show any improvment im starting to lose my enthusiasm and love for it. Would it be wise to destroy it and buy a 200sx? I Know nothing about them, are they very quick? How do they handle? mpg? Running costs? Are they simpler to tune? Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

For something that looks that good I was a little disapointed with the performance. This guy and his woman was up my butt for about a half mile on the main Romford road. We both pulled onto the dual carriage way and he took the outside lane. I let him get level before booting it, but he put his foot down and just crept into the lead. I decided to go for it. At about 80 I was pulling some back on him. At 100 we were level again. At 130 I was about half a car in front. He then wussed out and decided to back off.

I have only had my zed a couple of months so I am pretty keen in driving it wherever I can. Why is it wherever I park it some B*****D opens they're door onto it leaving either a scratch, chip or if I'm really lucky a small dent. This is really starting to P*** me off. I even park it dead centre of a bay miles from any other car, come back and someones usually left their mark on it. How much little respect can you have for this car!!!!!!!!! No I am not going to resort to sticking some Ford Focus protective side strips to my Z- life will never be that bad. Just thought I would share my Sunday afternoon thoughts with you.    :mad…

It's looking the dogs danglies if I do say so myself :D Will get some pics up later if I'm not too pissed ;) Only problem is it wouldn't start this afternoon for some reason. It's been fine every time we've tried it recently so I can only think it's a loose connection somewhere. It's turning over but won't fire. Didn't get time to check for a spark but it can't be anything too major. Many thanks to Peter at PPS for doing a superb job. I'm going to collect it this week when the boot trim has been put back and it's been MOT'd and valeted. Then it's over to the Grasshopper open day next sunday to show it off ;) Can't wait.

Hello, I'm considering getting a 2 seater Z32 manual and was wondering what increase in performance a grand (just the one to start please) could get me? I guess exhaust and mapabble chip? Not looking to do anything that would need changing if I was to go further with the tuning (so no gentle cams, then harsher cams later etc). Also can anyone recommend some decent bodykits please, particularly this one (whatever it is), what is it called please? Hard to tell but I don't think it's the WW one. Cheers Russ
