Hello everyone, just signed up, so Hello! Looking at buying a 300 cause they look just so great and have been doing my research :) so worked out, i want a series 2 or a series 3 tt, manual (v important) model (doesnt' have to be modded). Question i got is, how much am i looking at price wise? I was hoping to stay under £6000, but looking at the prices on here, is this being a bit ambituos? Other thing, i'm in london, and a lot of you guys seem to be too, so do you offer a, um, like rent a knowledge days, where you can come and check a car over for me (as obviously i know absolutely nothing about them :))? i'll pay you of course! many thanks! Got a bad water leak which I'm trying to fix today. It appears to be a pipe from the driver's side turbo. It comes from a vertical metal pipe and bends round to underneath the plenum. I've removed all the extraneous sh1t from around it but I'm still struggling to get at the end underneath the plenum. There's still a pipe in the way stopping me getting to my pipe. It's about an inch in diameter and I'm going to have to shift it first. However, it doesn't appear to want to budge. Anyone any idea what it is, how to get it off, etc? Hi guys, I am buying a new front bumper for my '90 TT and would like to know if i only need the bumper or if there is some other parts that connect to the bumper and then to the chassis? Hi all, had a code 13 come up on a ecu test, so i changed the engine sensor, still code 13 , do i have to reset the ecu by disabling the battery for an hour or should it reset itself when ignition turned off???or is there something i havn,t done ! any help appreciated , thanks guys..!

Hey i need some advice. I just bought a 1990 twin turbo automatic tranny. I got it for real cheap that is why i did not get a 5 speed, plus i heard they are just as fast auto. How can i get more horse power without sacrificing reliability, i heard the 1990 trannys suck and i am nervous to do up my car now! What can i do to make it run 13 second 1/4 mile? My clutch recently packed in as the slave cylinder was nackered so i ordered a new slave cylinder from nissan. I had the part fitted and am in the process of trying to bleed the system but am having no luck in getting a clutch peddle back. I have a ninety pound vacuum bleeder kit but cant seem to get a clutch peddle can any one help with my predicament. There might be something i dont know about. I have thought i might have to change the master cylinder aswell. please please help car been of road for almost two weeks now. Missing it Harp69 __________________ harp.zx

I dont have standard alloy on my Z (VRLK Racing). Back tyres i have on are 265/40/17 (Back) and 235 on the Front . Will these give me a false speedo reading ?? Thanks

I've just put my Z away in a garage for 12 months now, I need some money in my life for a change, but i'm not going to give up on the thing! It's got a (fresh) problem, that someone might be able to help me with. When I'm braking hard, the oil pressure guage drops to zero then when the car has stopped it comes back up to quarter the way along the gauge. It's always read low on the oil pressure so I replaced the sender unti...nop difference apart from now it registers this sudden drop in pressure. The car has also developed a loud lifter ticking sound coming from the rear o/s of the engine, this will go away with the appropriate oil additive, but soon comes back. …

Does anyone know if we are able to use universal O2 sensors on our motors or are they a specialist sensor?

Lad's o Lad's Any idea's???? Just brought first ZX. 92 non-turbo, totally standard, very good con - it flew through MOT yesterday- wahey! anyway... I have an intermittent engine noise. Not a tapping or pinging but a v load whining. Sounds like fan or belt related problem. Then at 5000rpm a v high pitch squeaking Car OK for 2weeks, then the noise starts for a few days - then goes for a few days, then back for few days ... and so on Any performance recommendations? for induction kit + back boxes cheers g

Does any body have these fitted , I know the discs are not up to much just wondering about the calipers themselves as I am sure i can use an alternative supplier for discs , any views would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone, I am having my Z resprayed and would like to know what else can I have done while its in the process (except for engine modifications)? also where can i buy new rubber seals around windscreen from? Anyone know what happened to the zedparts.com site ?. They had a really good article about installing HKS Super SQL BOVS. Since I have these now I wouldn't mind having a look at it. Anyone else know of a tech site that has this info ?. If not I'll have to use the apexi guide from tt.net

its using magnets on the fuel outlet before gets into the injectors which organisers your fuel and pushes your bhp and fuel economy up. seemingly bikers have known about this a little while and are attaching the magnets onto their bikes for the gain. Peter

Guys, I am in the need for a new rad after Option took me old one off and said that one of the inlets on the rad (plastic bit that the rubber hose sits on) has broken so theres no point re-coring it. Drove to work this morning in the wet. As I was approaching the last set of lights befopre I arrived at the office, I heard a strange metallic noise. Not even sure if it was my car I continued and then heard it again as I was parking up. After letting the turbos cool a little I switched off and climbed out and the noise continued. It turned out to be my horn ! Some kind of intermittent short circuit causing it to blip and squeek. I open the bonnet to listen closer, but it stopped. I reset the alarm and it seems to be cured (?) - although I don't think the alarm circuit is linked to the horn at all. Is there a component of the horn that's liable to getting we…

Hi , Has anybody heard of a gas conversion of a Z32 tt ???? There is a gas conversion specialist just out side Swansea ,which i called into and asked. He told me it could be done at a price of £1500+ . He said he's never done a 300 B4 but done a few Supras twin T's . IS it safe ? , Does it shorten Engine life/Turbos , And most of all does it affect performance . Any Help/Advice would be great Thanks Darren

What is the model and make of the right battery for the Zed! Which one fits, has the terminals around the right way and has enough power! No NGK or Irridium ones please!!!

been offered a nice set of momo arrow reps ... real cheap but .... there's always a f'n BUT ....... they r of a merc. they have the width 245's alround ...... can u get them rebored to fit ... get holes filled and re-drilled ? i know u can get wheel adaptors ... would these be ok with 300 odd hp ?????? cheers scottie :)
