Quick question for the people that are in the know. Just looking at the courtesy web site and i see there in an adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator , (£85) would this be a suitable alternative if you wanted to run 16-17psi or would you need to go to 555 injectors if this is a suitable alternative how much would you have to raise the pressure and would this shag the injectors ????

Any Ideas what the cause is ? The symptoms is brake shudder when braking from high speeds, I wouldn't say aggressive breaking but fairly firm. I have brembo disks on the front about 5 months old, with kevlar pads (still got quite a bit left on them). I don't think the discs are warped as I've done the "listen test" while the car has been jacked up and the wheels have been rotated. I couldn't hear an irregularities. Are we talking master cylinder here ?. If so how much £'s am I looking ?

I will be visiting the US of A the first week of June. Its work and I do not get any time off, but if you would like me to bring back some souvenir car parts I would be happy to save you the transport costs. All you have to do is get then delivered to me at my hotel. I will be staying in Williamsburg VA. By little I mean less than say 4kg - I expect to purchase my own souvenirs and the last time I exceeded my baggage allowance I got hit for £100! So do not expect me to bring over a new autobox! It will be judged on a first come, first served basis so bag your place in the queue asap by posting a reply to this message.

I recently bought some iridium spark plugs and it turns out they're for a US Z, meanwhile i'm having slight problems at high revs. Has anyone got any plugs they've recently taken out they can sell me nice and cheap. Just i don't want to buy new plugs if my new ones are ok, if it's apparent they are causing a problem ill buy some new ones. AndyZ don't have none;- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18516 Cheers

My Fairlady Z has now been off the road for a year with a F****d auto box. First of all the original box packed up on me in the lake district, and I had to be lifted by the RAC back to Slough (what a journey), then I eventually fought the box out of the car having dismantled the exhaust, etc; with just a jack and a pair of alxe stands to give me clearance under the car!!!! Took the box to a guy in Didcot, who told me that the box was unrepairable. Bought a box from Nippon Spares, and fitted it. No reverse and no 1st gear. Took this box out and over to the guy in Didcot. He said he fixed it, but I had the same trouble, took it back, and he said there was nothing wrong with…

Hello, I am seeking some help, I actually live in Spain and have been checking with different UK companys on buying a 300zx.They are way much cheaper in the UK than rest of europe. I contacted this site called http://www.bonsaicars.com and what they do is that you pick the 300zx from their auctions daily in Japan then they import the car for you to the UK. What I need to know is; if anybody has done this before and is it safe? reliable? trusted?? I am complete lost and maybe afraid I get somehow ripped off? many Uk company do this like http://www.neweraimports.com or http://www. goulders.com etc etc. Please can anyone reply me on this matter? would be so so appreciate…

They were just getting the obligitory kebab while I'm in my car waiting for them and I hear this THUD!!!! I look towards the rear of my car but a face is looking back at me through my targa's! Some square dude with glasses on has fkin launched himself onto my rear screen and is smiling at me through the t-tops! Now........we all love our Z's...........a kind of animal instinct kicks in if anyone was to do anything to hurt them........agreed? I was on auto-pilot as I got out of my car, picked him up by the waist of his jeans and the scruff of his neck and kinda …

So I am out with the better half on Saturday night... slowly getting w*nkered so I did the most stupid thing I could have done... I started telling her my plans for the Z and the money involved.... So she then went into devils advicote mode and basically made me feel a prize burk for planning to spend that much money on a car that I have already paid out shed loads for. So I am sat here now totally deflated about what to do. Trying to justify to myself if it is really worth spending 4K on a bodykit, 1K on interior, 1K on ICE and 2K on new wheels and tyres. For a car that's value may or may not reflect what has been done. Will I ever be in the luxurious po…

I have been told by a good source that you can fit 300ZX Calipers/Pads/Disks... Where do you recomend in my area a scrapper who may have a pair? Does anybody have an RPS Single disc Carbon Carbon Clutch fitted to their Z? I am thinking of getting one as my clutch is knacked and I would of fitted a lightweight flywheel at the same time anyway. (Well that justified the cost to my other half, NOT!) Can anyone help me get a part number for these, it's the last connector/joint before the actual jet's and supposedly stops the water from returning to the bottle. I've tried Nissan, but they show me a diagram, and there not on there. The car is a import 2+0, and the water bottle is in the boot not in the engine bay like the 2+2. The valves are like a standard connector with a fat section in the middle, about 7 - 8 mm thick. Anyone help. Cheers Alex.

Got my HKS Legal exhaust replaced last week with a Mongoose one fron the Z Centre. I have to say that Luke was as helpful as ever (great bloke!) and CHEAP.....much cheaper than buying direct from Mongoose!:D I did an ECU re-set (disconnected the battery for an hour) while the Z was up on the ramp having the new pipework fitted, and now she goes like stink again. I was starting to 'get used' to the power (it seemed a bit flat especially with a couple of bloody great holes in the old zorst) but now she goes like she should! Oh, and the new pipe sounds lovely too! Not too loud, but a nice deep throaty 'burble', a bit like a V8:D Oh, and I have been suffering from HICA…
