Does any body have these fitted , I know the discs are not up to much just wondering about the calipers themselves as I am sure i can use an alternative supplier for discs , any views would be much appreciated.

Hi everyone, I am having my Z resprayed and would like to know what else can I have done while its in the process (except for engine modifications)? also where can i buy new rubber seals around windscreen from? (windscreen interior trim was the name I was given by the person spraying my Z). many thanks "Ammar"

Anyone know what happened to the zedparts.com site ?. They had a really good article about installing HKS Super SQL BOVS. Since I have these now I wouldn't mind having a look at it. Anyone else know of a tech site that has this info ?. If not I'll have to use the apexi guide from tt.net

its using magnets on the fuel outlet before gets into the injectors which organisers your fuel and pushes your bhp and fuel economy up. seemingly bikers have known about this a little while and are attaching the magnets onto their bikes for the gain. Peter

Guys, I am in the need for a new rad after Option took me old one off and said that one of the inlets on the rad (plastic bit that the rubber hose sits on) has broken so theres no point re-coring it. So, I went to this site and found an all ally rad: http://www.radiators.com/price.cfm?carengine=3.0L%2C+181ci%2C+V-6&transmission=Automatic&carmake=NISSAN&carmodel=300+ZX&caryear=1990&lookupid=463123 Now, it'll cost £300 including shipping, is this good or can I find one cheaper? Drove to work this morning in the wet. As I was approaching the last set of lights befopre I arrived at the office, I heard a strange metallic noise. Not even sure if it was my car I continued and then heard it again as I was parking up. After letting the turbos cool a little I switched off and climbed out and the noise continued. It turned out to be my horn ! Some kind of intermittent short circuit causing it to blip and squeek. I open the bonnet to listen closer, but it stopped. I reset the alarm and it seems to be cured (?) - although I don't think the alarm circuit is linked to the horn at all. Is there a component of the horn that's liable to getting we…

Hi , Has anybody heard of a gas conversion of a Z32 tt ???? There is a gas conversion specialist just out side Swansea ,which i called into and asked. He told me it could be done at a price of £1500+ . He said he's never done a 300 B4 but done a few Supras twin T's . IS it safe ? , Does it shorten Engine life/Turbos , And most of all does it affect performance . Any Help/Advice would be great Thanks Darren

been offered a nice set of momo arrow reps ... real cheap but .... there's always a f'n BUT ....... they r of a merc. they have the width 245's alround ...... can u get them rebored to fit ... get holes filled and re-drilled ? i know u can get wheel adaptors ... would these be ok with 300 odd hp ?????? cheers scottie :)

Well as it looks like the rain may be here to stay for a while, I think it's about time to replace my wiper blades as the rubber has split (fnarr...Fnarr!) and is hanging off. So what size wiper blades do I need front and rear and can I get them from Halfords? Cheers

A massive thank you to Jaz, Nigel and Trev for getting these faces to look as good as they do!!! I need peoples opinions on what we would like now. I know we are going to have different speedo's depending on Jap or UK but I'm looking to get a UK (mine:D ) done first to check it out. Trev has done the changes to the speedo's as per Tim's comments and here's how they now look. I would appreciate any comments about any changes we might like done. I will be speaking to him about have the boost and oil pressure blanked out, so if we could leave that for now.

Seems to be worse when my foot is not on the accelerator changes noise a little when i put my foot on the break, more noticable no noise when I'm not moving sounds like brake disc /pad rubbing , speed related (thanks Oli for that info) Andy !!!!!:(

Hi guys, I've noticed if I leave the engine idleing for some time then drive off, I get a cloud of blue/white smoke from the exhaust for a few minutes, mainly during acceleration... This is intermittent, I think. Is this norm or should I worry??? The turbos and engine were reconditioned not too long ago!!! ALSO, is there anywhere near the rear underside of the car prone to some some of oil leak? I'm sure I've noticed oil drips on my drive that weren't there before. I may be mistaken, so I will investigate further... Regards, Peter

New gearbox is in, now its failed its MOT. Nothing drastic though, just a f**ked rear shock. As I'm running super short on funds where can I source some cheap rear shocks ASAP?

Has anybody heard any more about the Zemulator? The last I heard was that it was available in March but the Ashley Powers website hasn't been updated since last year. I want one!!!! Can anyone please tell me the thickness of a new- unused friction disc. Mine are down to about 3.5 mm so I assume they may be down to the wear limit. Does anyone know of a supplier of new spares? Thanks.

the hi capacity or hi pressure line that runs from the pumpp to the rack has sprung a leak ........ will not leak uinder normal use .. just when under pressure. when i was searching for the leak i peeled back the foam which surrounds it .... find a joint ... joint is where the leak is... found it by holding the steering on full lock ..... is there surposed to be a join on this line WTF is it doing there either way ? i can simply take it to a hydralic shop and get a similar pipe made up pref out of braided hoses !!! end of problem ? how easy to bleed rack after ? will the fluid run out of resivoir when pipe is diconnected ... then i have to bleed…

Hallo gurus and guru-esses – your advice is requested for a problem which hasn’t gone away of its own accord no matter how much I try to ignore it. Regular readers may remember that last year I had my wheel alignment checked but couldn’t get the front camber into spec. The people who checked it couldn’t offer much advice, Jeff TT’s visual inspection couldn’t see anything wrong and the dealer had no clue. I came across various versions of camber kits but couldn’t find out if these were just masking the problem rather than curing the root cause. ECU SHOWING CODE 21 CODE 21 I BELIEVE TOBE THE PTU SO IVE REPLACED IT AND IVE STILL GOT PROBS WITH NOT STARTING BUT FIREING SOME TIMES WILL START BUT THEN STARTS TO MISS AND THEN DIES.
