Hello! I've spent ages looking and 'phoning round all the places near me to find MIG welding tips, and either they dont stock them, they wont sell them or they only have eg 0.6 or 0.8mm. Does anyone know of a mail order company that can get them out to me by Saturday? I'm looking for 1.0 - 1.5mm I think. Or better still - does anyone have any lying around they dont need :) ? Cheer folks, much appreciated :) Pete

I have a 1990 jap import TT. (manual ) The boost gauge goes from -7 to +7. On full boost I'm getting about 6 psi. Is this about right? I've heard that normal boost is +9 psi? Any comments? Cheers. Martin.

I am looking to extend my garage by the addition of another car and am thinking of the 300ZX as a possibilty. I already own 3 of the worlds best cars; an Impreza Turbo (the best car ever made!) a MX-5 (despite its girlie image its a great little fun car!) and an M3 Convertibe (just to add a little class!) Could you tell me why I should add a 300ZX to my collection and what does it do better than any other car? Although money is no object could you tell me how much a good one would cost?? Thanks all MrRee

Does anyone know much about the interior clock on a 300zx 1992 import? Mine does not work, the drivers handbook refers to a fusebox behind the hood release lever, that must be for a UK version. All I can see is a fusebox in the engine bay. Anyone got any suggestions about the clock ? Thanks John

One day officer I was on a derestricted road with 5 passengers and a fully laiden tank of petrol and a full boot. I had achieved a speed of 140feet per min and the road went down steeply. I decided to take the car out of gear and let test Newtons second law of motion and I confer that it is true. However in realising that a 20mph corner was approaching way too fast i used the full strength in my led to pull the car to a stop. I slowed to 60mph quite quickly however by this time the brake pedal had gone rock hard ( I'm not sure if this was the brake fluid exanding or something else) anway I had to take a side exit into a layby to eventually stop. By this time t…

Hi! I ran the ECU diagnostic on my 90m ZXTT and got the code 53 and 21. My car is hesitating and stumbling (the whole car is shaking). The car is worse when it's half warmed up, but it's also a great lose of power when it's warmed up. When the weather is cold the car could be just fine for about 5 minutes, but when the weather is warm the car is a nightmare from the beginning of the ride to the end...could this possible be a damaged PTU...? (and this may give wrong signal to the O2 sensor at the passenger side?) Thanks EgilTT

I just picked up an oil filter from Nissan, when I got home I noticed it refers to a z31, 01/84- My 300zx is 1992, which I thought was z32 ? Are the oil filters the same on z31 and z32's ? Thanks

AGHH! My car has decided to play up this morning, last night I cleaned the temp sensors, the car ran fine, this morning the car will just not idle, I have to keep my foot on the accelerator or the car just dies! The car also hesitates like a barstool. I did manage to limp into work this morning (23 miles!) as I have no other choice. Any help anyone? Now I’m off to do a search! Mike

I bought one of those 'tube' type subwoofers with built in amp. When I wire it to the wire that goes from the back of the radio to the power aerial, I get a lot of crackling and intermittant sound breakup. Then I wire it to the battery wire, its ok, but I have to use an on-off switch, which is a pain. Anyone got any suggestions ? Thanks John

Mostly I have been reading on the forums about the 300ZX, not contributing in anyway. I dont own a 300ZX, so i'm mostly gathering information about the car. At the moment i mostly drive around im my dads car, also a Nissan. Being a Nissan - Laurel ('84) its a fairly sized sedan. Nevertheless, with my length, im still touching the roof with my head, shoulders above the seat, knees spread around the steeringwheel and almost touching the gearshifter. Special seat is being ordered. So with my 6,4 Feet/76,7 Inches (1m95) in heigth, would it be a problem for me to fit into the 300ZX? Or do i need to order a special seat aswell?

Today my gear lever started sticking in the 'Park' position. (with the engine running) and the only way to get it into drive is to use the little red lever that is normally used when you want to take it out of drive without the ignition on. Anyone experienced this ? Thanks John
