I have seen this around stoke occasionally. Yesterday I drove right past their house so decided to knock and introduce myself but they were not in. Is this someone on here? Rich

Drove down to see Lee in Shrewsbury today, was a great drive with the targas off. He checked over the whole car making sure there were no leaks after the engine build, then he began making a list of all the bits of trim I was missing. Half an hour later my Zed was loaded up with everything I needed plus a dash board in great condition. He wouldn't take a penny for the bits or for checking over the car. He's done a superb job on my Zed aswel, not just the engine but he pretty much renewed everything on it. Will be down to see you again soon mate. Thanks again. As some of you may know, my NA is knocking badly, oil starvation to the drivers head and would need stripping, i can either convert to a TT using my UK TT as the donor, but after starting it today and having a good look around apart from a respray, new windscreen and catback fitting, it needs very little else and im really loathed to rape it. I have a chance of a good NA engine but not till October and even if i rebuild one of mine it would still be months rather than weeks to complete, so to get to JAE im seriously contemplating now on getting the TT on the road, albeit not looking the best, but its a zed and more chance of getting it ready than the yellow one. …

Hi guys when I picked my car up from the paint shop it was nice and sunny and nice clear roads so I gave it some stick through the lanes... 1st time I've really pushed it with meister r coilovers, and I wasn't very impressed lol... there nearly on the softest settings and they keep trying to kill me. over bumpy roads its like the rear wheels bounce off the floor the wheels then spin up in the air to god knows what speeds and when it lands its a bit crazy lol... I've also noticed when I pull on my drive it has a big bump in the middle and to not scrape I have to go over it at an angle and often 1 wheel comes off the floor and it wheel sins its like the…

Hey guys so took my zed to Jim a few weeks ago to have some reconditioned turbos fitted, upon lifting the engine Jim found a few causes for concern, shoddy rebuild work from the previous owner. So we have decided to go ahead and fully rebuild the engine. I'll be using this thread to post progress pictures and info... I intend to go and see Noel after I've settled the engine in and then fingers crossed the car will be going in for a full respray , all new mouldings,trim etc ... Watch this space !

Evening everyone, quick question, i'm looking to replace my front and rear disks and pads on my 93 N/A JDM import.. can anyone tell me if they are the same size as a TT? And possibly where the best place is to get replacements from? Thanks in advance, Sam

As the title states, was remote locking an alarm an optional extra in Japan? Only reason I ask is because of the fob on my newest Zed... It looks kind of retro 90's era and is embossed with Nissan which kinda makes me think its original, although other than the arm and disarm buttons I am yet to figure out what the other 2 do.

After returning from a little jaunt down the coast, I got out and noticed my offside headlight was out. It's done this before but quite a while ago. Jiggled around with the ballast and connectors without turning them off and it made no difference. Turned the lights off for a short while and then decided to try them again - the headlight that was out, miraculously starts working again. Anyone else experienced this?

For the 25th Anniversary meet at Coventry, I produced a synopsis of the 300ZX development, production, sales and competition history. This information was displayed as four large format panels near the museum entrance for Club members and visitors to read. Since then I've used the same content as a small flyer to give to people who have expressed an interest in the 300ZX and the Club, most recently at the Beaulieu meet. They came as spare with the car but they dnt have holes for bulbs wtf ??? :confused1:

Really stoopid problem to have, done an engine swap while engine was out I resealed sump. cant remember if kept dipstick in or not but apart from that its been untouched. The dipstick comes out about 10mm and stops you can fully rotate the dipstick both in the home position and 10mm out position. I've tried to Yank on it to pull it out and it won't budge? Anyone any ideas?

Do all US engine parts still fit on a UK car, or more specifically Left hand drive cars and right hand drive cars? I'm looking at getting some parts from Z1, head gasket kit, and silicone hoses and such. but just thought I'd better check if everything is in the same place, connections to the heater matrix etc.

Hi Chaps. My Z steering wheel sits off centre whilst driving straight. Wasn't too fussed because I've got to change the TRE's and tension rod bushes so thought would sort by getting the tracking done when I've finished. However, whilst playing with Datascan, when I hold the wheel dead straight, the HICAS steering angle sensor shows out by a few degrees. Now I don't think tracking will sort this will it, because they'll just track the car with the wheel straight, but the HICAS sensor will still read out which I believe will turn off HICAS as it will read as constantly turning slightly? So, I guess my wheel as been removed and put back on wrong at some time? So do I…
