Seen this Z on ebay in Northern Ireland and looking closely at the rear lights they look like a genuine 99 spec rear light set. Its being broken and there is a phone number so if any body wants to give him a call they could be a bargain. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151303664725?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

  2. Like the idea of keeping my green one and using a swb for the supercharger project, looking at this on ebay, wondering if anyone knows it?http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/321491718440?nav=BIDDING_ACTIVE Looks alright, not too far from me, and after seeing a couple of blue zed's like it at Beaulieu and coventry, very keen on the colour.

  3. Started by Eggs,

I purchased this Greddy item to replace the standard plug but am having problems with it continually leaking! Firstly I torqued it to the lower of the FSM settings and the next day was greeted by a puddle of oil on the floor and after tightening further it still seeps. https://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=7891 It comes with a steel washer, I'm guessing that's what's causing the problem and should be swapped for a brass one? Anyone had the same problem?

  6. I removed this yesterday - It's a box which has two probes attached, which run outside the car, down to the exhaust pipes, I guess for the cats, cats thats I never had, and don't want. Probably temperature probes I think. Anyway, I've removed them, and disconnected the box. Is this ok, or will the ECU be upset, do I need to leave it connected? Cheers! :)

Engine that is lol, After my dilema thread, i decided to replace both heads on the NA, with a set im getting from Russ (Veilside) which have new valves, head gaskets etc... and after spending a good few hours on it today i stripped it down to the point of getting the heads off. Now with the rocker covers off all 4 banks, when i rotate the engine, i cant see if oil is getting up to the rockers, although there is very dirty oil in all 4 and ive noticed in most i can depress the lifters slightly, which would have been giving me the tappety sound, but nothing jumping out at me that is giving the really bad rattling/tappety noise when the engine is running. The only wa…

When I stripped my zed a part of the upper steering tube was damaged so I simply cut it. Never noting that the rubber pipe is captive to the main pipe I now need a replacement. Below is a pic of the damaged pipe which is now about three inches too short to reach the pas pot : The question is - how can I make a repair of this pipe ? Can I cut the top of the metal and put a jubilee on and replace the top rubber part ? Can I replace the full pipe with rubber ? Whats the reason for the big elaborate route of the pipe rather than just going direct ? Any help on this would be great. Cheers

On my MOT the Advisory Items listed, 1. Offside Steering rack gaiter deteriorated. 2 & 3. Offside & Nearside Track rod end ball joint dust cover deteriorated. 4. Slight play Offside rear steering arm (HICAS) As they are replaced by size, can someone tell me what size fits the track rod ends & gaiter ? & I take it there must be some wear in the steering arm bushes? (HICAS) where can I get from if this is the case. Jeff at Zworld can not help with the dust covers. Cheers Art

  25. Fisrt, off, sorry, this wasn't meant to be so long, but I'm seriously pi**ed off, and de-motivated. So, I've been rebuilding / transplanting my Zed for over two years now, and was on track to finish next year...and was seriously looking forward to it. I've had no major issues being motivated, looking forward to the end result, slowly fixing up and transplanting parts, making sure everything is greased or painted accordingly to avoid any future rust, I've spent a lot of time doing this. New parts, and good used parts have been used accordingly, I was trying to build to last for a very long time, out of the best parts possible. The first link in my signature will …
