Been getting a little smoke from the drivers side zorst now and then at idle I've also been loosing a fair bit of oil (about 1 litre every 400 miles  ). Changed the PCV valves in desperation :D, no luck :(. Still smoking. The passenger side turbo front seal has gone, so it looks like new turbos. I have to admit Turbo's are something I know nothing about. I plan to keep the car as my daily driver and I don't want to open the engine up. So for now I would like a set of tubs that will run fine with stock injectors but also have another juice in them to run with 555's when I fit them. As I said above I want to keep this as my Daily driver so I d…

Has anyone been able to buy the rear lower control arm ball joint- the one that fits into the underside of the wheel bearing housing. I know that it is possible to buy the complete arm- but it’s very expensive.

Dudes anyone had this fitted yet or know anything re: The Zs limitations. As some of you may know I have a full NOS kit on its way. It came off the 700hp Z I have mentioned in previous post. The guy was running 2 x 150 shot bottles on a Chevy motor. As he has removed these now, I have managed to buy one. My engine has only just been fully rebuilt with all new parts, to keep cost down I have used std Nissan parts. If I put this kit on my moto with say a 50jet. Will my new engine take it like a man or shrivel up and die. If it will take it whats the largest safe'st jet I should use. I have 50-100 and 150

I decided to do some investigating into why my car had a crappy tickover and stalled occationally when braking hard. I first cleaned the TB's which didnt help too much but I got myself a face full of black sh*te as an added bonus!(those carb cleaner sprays have a hell of a kick! :mac1: ) Today I decided to have a look at the PCV valves, moved all the crap out of the way on the drivers side and found that the pipe leading from that one was split and hanging off. I replaced the pipe and the valve looks near new, didnt get a chance to look at the passenger side as it started raining. The problem is now, I cant get the car to tick over unless I have the aircon turned on (whic…

Hello, I am living in Norway and just now the temperature is about 5-7 degrees below zero. When the sun is shining directly on my 300ZX TT, the car is always hesitating/stumbling when the car is cold! If the sun not are shining the car behave just normal! I got code 42 (fuel temp sensor) when I run the ECU diagnostic, but I have just replaced the sensor. May the sun affect any other sensor so that the car is "fooled" to think it's warmer than it really is?? Thanks- Egil

Hi guys, I have finally decided that I am in need of a new prop bearing due to some wurring noise and vibration through my seat. I would like to take advantage of the pound versus dollar situation at the moment though and order the bearing kit from the US. Before I start asking for quotes though can anyone tell me the if I just have to ask for a propshaft bearing. The reason for asking is that I am sure I heard from someone that there is 2 bearings along the prop so would need to make sure I got the correct one. Cheers, Justin PS Anyone know the part number for this to help speed things up when I am asking about?

Hi Guys I think the mother board of the dishwasher is fried. I still get the power light but the button that selects the wash is not responding. I opened it up to check for anything obvious but can only see a little bit of heat mark on the mother board. It's an Ariston Dishwasher, any idea where I can get hold of a mother board or other electrical parts for this ?

Hi guy's. Fitted some new pads yesterday in the rear of the zed and decided I'd see if they were ok today. Out I go targas off windows down only to hear a horrendous squealing noise! And not just under breaking but all the time! Just got it on a jack now and looked at it and nothing seems to be amiss apart from the pads seem to be touching the disc. Is this normal or do I have another problem? Cheers Ivan

Had a look underneath and it needs a bit of repair only i have no idea where to start. It looks like it was kerbed loads b4 and has a split about 4" long right in the middle. the chip is tiny (3-4cms) that could probably be glued back in but just wondered if anyone had any input. apart from be more careful next time!!

There is a sort of hissing sound around the back of the engine at idle that is still there after changing all the vacuum lines that I could get at for silicone. Could it be the EGR valve, and if so is it posible tro remove, disbale or bypass it with the engine in? Could this be the cuase of high but stable idle. I had a rough idle at about 800 rom, but after replacing plugs, cleaning throttle bodies and checking all the injector connectors, etc the idle rose to 1000 rom. I'm a little perplexed.
