HI, I HAVE A SET OF REAR SPEAKERS MISSING WHAT SIZE GOES IN THEM ORIG??? :confused:

My zed with rev to 6500 if you take it there with out flooring the throttle if you floor it the revs stop at 5000 then it takes you down to 2000 you have to turn off then back on to get it back anyone help :cry:

Leon at Alunox is currently using my spare engine to design some manifolds on. What I need to know is how many different compressor inlet flange types are there. As far as I can see there's the stock type (stock, JWT500/530) and the 3 hole round Mitsi (td05). How about PE1420 etc? Anybody got more info? Cheers

When replacing front anti-roll bar bushes, is it best to drive the car up on ramps or jack the car up so the wheels are off the ground ? Thanks John

My wipers stopped this morning after a 'bang'. They stopped half way across, so I got out moved them back down and carried onto work, at lunch I pulled it all apart and took out the motor (which was running fine) but the arm had come off the motor. I pulled the arm off the ball joint so I could fix it back onto the motor and replace it then clip in the ball joint all good............ BUT! The hole in the end of the arm slipped right over the plastic/rubber thing that looked very worn down on the motor arm and it fell off. After some fiddling I managed to get it to stop on and work okay. Put all the trim back on and sorted and drove home in the rai…

hi there, I have bought a 19" wheel for my soarer from Andy, but the offset of this wheel is only 35, and i am looking for 45 (as standard for Soarer). there is 10mm different, what do you guys suggest me to do? do i need to sell it and buy another one( dont really want to do this way, as it is a really nice wheel)? any suggestion appreicated Thanks indeed

Not sure if I am worthy of this site as I don't as yet hace a Zed. Things like the wife, baby, money keep getting in the way. With the combined brianpower of you all I'm sure I can come up with a convicing case to change my Focus for a Zed, bearing in mind that the missus thinks a great car gets you from A to B (not necessarily quickly or in style). PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi All, I've bought a ZX in japan and hopefully it should be here in a month or so, but I would like people's opinnion on what i should have done to it straight away. I'm planning to put on new tyres, a TOAD alarm and get it serviced, but should I change things like the PTU and timing belts etc.? A shortlist would be much appreciated. Cheers.

What can cause timing to go from 15 degrees to 25 degrees all of a sudden,Conzult 55,powertest ok,but timing now 25dg,could tell before i checked as it was a little lumpy if ya know what i mean,any ideas wellcome ;) Tony

My Brothers car has a stalling probs starts ok ticks over fine but when you try to boot it away the car just dies and will not start until you leave it for a couple of mins!!! when holding the revs at about 3000 revs in 2nd the car kangooroos along! any help please cheers Dave

Hi guys, In the near future I'm going to book my Zed in for a big service and order a load of bits in from Courtesy to save a few pennies on parts. So I know what bits I need to order I would like to do a Conzult on my car. I am way to skint at the mo to buy one so would lie to know if someone my way would do a conzult on my car? My 300 has the standard Japanese stereo. It sounds great and has a CD changer. But it's not got a removable face or any other security. It'd cost about £250-300 to replace it with a 'face off' one. Has anyone left their std Jap stereo in and have thay had problems or no problems?

I have just purchased a ZX for the first time at the weekend, it came with part of the oringinal stereo in it. it was F****** so fitted my nice spangeley Apline head unit, but now only the front speakers work, used a converter cable from Halfords too. Anyone got any ideas why or know where i could finr a wiring diagram for the car?????? Many thanks Dave

how do i take this off? iv unscrewd evrything i can see and it wont budge in th midlle of trimming th einterior with some vinyl i bought in town it takes aaaages but well worth the effort

My zed was purchased by prievious owner from an importer in June 2003 70000kms a Standard ZED suposedly he had to fit a new clutch and found it has a lightened flywheel!!! and could not get a clutch to fit so he fitted a new clutch an flywheel the car has HKS dump valves in the glove box there are 2 gauges and 2 small boxes with buttons on one of them is a turbo timer the other is a boost controller which has been diconnected!! do you think this was once modded and then returned to STD!!!! any advice welcome :confused:

Where do i start? Well i have been sorting out a coolant leak for a while now so the Z has been sat on our car park for a week or so. I have removed the front bumper and headlight panel (as you might guess) However the other day/night it pished down and i had forgotten to cover up the pipes indicated! I dont know how much rain got in, but i would say a fair amount did. Does anyone know if this is going to cause me problems or is there a drainage point somewhere? Cheers, Pete

on imports they have a switch,my car is a uk,does the gear box respond to the way you drive,if yes how does it work?
