Has anyone done this? I know they draw less current so which ones should i go for, i dont want to blow a fuse or anyfink! Can you get them in halfords? any useful tips would be appreciated :) Cheers Rob Im thinking, speedo, PNRD21, overhead lights etc...

found some strange things in the return side of the intercooler pipes they look like a aluminum valve with a little hole in them i will remove them tommorow and see what they are any ideas steve

sorry if this has been posted before, but just passing on what I have found... Decided to unbolt both front wings at the bottom 2 X 10mm bolts and 4 X self tappers that hold the bottom of the arch liner on.. I wanted to straighten up some damage caused by jacking in the wrong place! :( and as a result the wings kinda bowed out a little towards the sill and it's always bugged me, as I know it's there kinda thing. :rolleyes: Anyhow when I gently pulled the bottom of wing clear of the sill, to my horror, there was a layer about 15mm thick of soil/debris/shite which was damp as it will not dry out! Please can someone advise on what enfine and gearbox oil to use for my 1993 t/t. I use it for short journey to work and weekends for kicking my mates supras ass ha ha . I am bit confused as so many advices on what one to use . am i right in thinking 15-50 is right fully synthetic?? and what about gearbox and diff. Also how easy it to change rear diff oil and front diff oil ( or is it part of engine??) and the gearbox oil ?? Also where can i go to get amounts to put in. Help !!! :mac1:

Guys, If I remove the Autobox, torque convertor etc, can I still push the car around without it attached or does a rear engine mount come off with the gearbox that prevents the engine from being stable? :duffer:

Hi, I've just replaced the dipped light on my j-spec tt with PIAA bulbs, and it made quite a difference - can finally drive after sundown without night vision goggles. Now I bought new H1 Osram SilverStar bulbs for the hi-beams, but I just can't get the old ones out. Is there a trick to it? I can't really see the fitting, as there's hoses and stuff covering it up. I gripped the plastic square thing where the wires are attached and tried to pull it straight out, twist it both ways, and push it in and twist it. But it won't cooperate at all. What's the easiest way to get it out?

Hi all, I just moved to UK (from Norway) and got myself a 1991 300zx tt, jap import. I'm getting to enjoy the car more and more every day, (just wish the wife would feel the same way). As I opened the panel between the front lights to check the air filter, I see something I believe is a HKS induction kit (it has HKS printed on it) Can I remove and wash this filter or do I need to replace it? Also, there is an after-market Blitz boost gauge installed where the air vent in the driver's door used to be. However, there's no background light on it, which makes it pretty useless after the sun goes down. Does anyone recognize this gauge - is it supposed to be…

I've got a UK TT auto, and I noticed over the past couple of months a strange hesitation whilst accelerating. Just after I hear the gearbox change to 2nd gear, around 20 mph, the car throttles back for 3-4 seconds and slows slightly, before picking up speed again. This happens even if I keep my foot steady on the accelerator. I don't know if it's related but the fuel consumption has gone up and the exhausts have a sooty black deposit, implying the mixture's too rich. Any ideas would be much appreciated, Cheers Damien

Hi guru's, I have just aquired a '90 300zx Manual (not turbo) and had high eexpectations. I have never owned a jap sports car before and fell in love when i saw it, so I bought with my heart not my head. There is an intermittent vibration when I drive over 80kph (I will have to get the speedo changed as a priority). It's not always there, but most of the time it feels like its going to shake the car to bits! The car is leaking either brake or power steering fluid from just behind the passenger side front wheel. There is a really loud nise from the power steering pump when turning the wheel at standstill or low speed and the steering is really heavy at…

Please help!! i have a 1993 300zx t/t with the pre cat in place . I want to get a straight though exhaust for performance. Where can i get 1 as i understand that its quite awkward cos of the pre cat which i also want either removed or knocked through!! Can i just knock all the cats through and use the standard exhaust ???

Coming to work this morning about 60 mph' i put my foot down the power lasted about 2 seconds then died out i tried again and the same thing happend,its fine on normal running,[any ideas o worthey ones]

Have recently bought an 300zx import, and its got 17" wheels with 235/45 on the fronts and 255/40 on the rear, but I have no idea what the pressure in them should be. I've got 32psi in them at the moment, but the ride feels abit hard to me, any ideas at all?.

Had my plenum hoses sorted there once and for all last weekend, and so far so good. The service was fast, friendly, Ryan even made us coffee, and it was greatly entertaining watching herman put his engine together, drop a bit of rubber in it and then take it all apart again!!! The only bad thing about the day is that there is FOOK ALL to do in swindon, best fun there is going round the magic roundabout!!!! So if you visit Ztech and have time to kill, I'd have a look at Reading if i were you.
