I hope this is not going to result in another expensive repair but the other day I was 4-up in my Zed and noticed that I was unable to show off due to the clutch slipping everytime I hit the fast peddle:( Ever since I have had the car the clutch biting point has always been quite high. When in the garage the other day for a routine job I was told that I have a slight leak in my clutch slave cylinder, would this be anything to do with this or is it time for my next mod, an uprated clutch! :confused: How much does the uk 300ZX TT pump out in BHP? I think I've heard they are less than imports is this true? How can the extra BHP be gained if this is true? Cheers Tom

is the odometer/trip meter cable driven and the speedo driven by an electronic pick up? '91 jap TT auto cheers

Hello guy's. can anyone tell me the probable cause of my z using water ? i have had it about a month and about every two weeks it overheats due to lack of water. when i put water in and flush the system it is perfect straight away for about two weeks. there is no water in the oil or anything so not sure ?

Help me again, I recently asked for advice re fuses for the interior lights and the stereo going off. I have now located every possible fuse to the lights and stereo and checked them all and found they were fine! Does anyone else have any suggestions. Basically I was replacing the interior bulb, it lit up for a fraction of a second and then nothing worked again.

Can anybody here please tell me what exactly is nerded fo rme to convert my lovely 300zx twin turbo into a manual the auto gear change makes it feel like such a waste of power. If someone can be so kind as to tell me what i need ad how much i will need to spend in order to get it done ??? has anyone on here had this done to theres?? Fanx guys

All within reason as its not a race car :cry: I need to keep the rear seats(luckily there only foamy sh#t) The rear spoiler must weigh some but it needs to stay. I know some items like c/f bonnet for std Z bonnet is not alota difference but it all adds up :dance: of course most of this is eliminated as soon as i put any GoGo juice in and i cant get any thinner than i am already but it all helps. Hi- please can anyone tell me the absolute legal point on this- I booked a Z (unreg'd) in for an MOT. Drove there, tested, driving home and got pulled by Traffic Police. I explained the situation and they were not convinced that it was legal to drive without any plates. However- they were not sure and are going to check it out. I got a "HORT1", I'm sure the law states that even an unreg'd import can be driven to/from booked MOT without plates, but try as I have, so far I can't find anything I can refer to if I need to debate this with the police. My missus has been driving the zed around for the last week, and she mentioned on monday that the oil pressure guage is down near the zero most of the time. I checked the oil and saw it was a little low, so filled it back to 3/4 full.. started the car and everything sounded nice.. the guage was reading somewhere between the 5 and 9 (jap car). Thought ok... just low oil however, she said again yesterday the car was back down at about 1 or 2 when she was driving and sometimes stopped at zero when she was stationary. Can anyone help me find a decent place to get an Alarm fitted in or around London? I know Bob does them in Chester, but thats a little too far for me. I think I'd go with the TOAD Ai606 (?), with pager, as I seem to recall that it's quite highly recomended. Cheers in advance.

I've decided to improve the handling of the car instead of upping the power...for now! So, would I be able to fit the poly bushes from Z-Centre myself?? With the car up on jack stands and normal tools? Or would I have to get a garage to do it??? Cheers guys :D

Got firing positions sorted. Now faze sensor is up the spout. As in its been moved. How do I set it up properly. I carn't even find it on the on line manual.
